Although the hybrid was already dead, Nile was still filled with rage. He transformed the Weapon of Change into a sharp and long blade.

Swoosh!

He slashed, and a deep and long wound appeared on the hybrid's stomach.

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

As if one slashed was not enough, he made a dozen or so, dicing the hybrid's body into multiple pieces in the process.

After seeing the hybrid's body turning into minced meat, only then Nile somewhat felt satisfied.

The repulsive feeling he got earlier had disappeared as well after dicing the hybrid's body into many parts.

Phew!

He let out a heavy sigh as the sharp blade glowed with red before transforming into a ring.

The reason for his actions was simple. He was afraid the human flesh-eating hybrid would suddenly come back to life. Not to mention the repulsive feelings that didn't disappear until he diced the hybrid's body apart.

"Let's go and search for some food!" He said as he urged Maximo and Croco to walk away from the hybrid's body.

He didn't know why, but he felt that his actions of dicing the hybrid's body were just the right thing to do.

He admits that he isn't a saint, but after seeing the hybrid's mutation cause, what's wrong with killing and dicing their bodies apart?

If he ever sees one again, he wouldn't hesitate to do the same thing.

Although he doesn't care what would happen to other survivors, by the mere thought of seeing someone who consumed their own race just to survive, everyone would only feel two things.

Fear if they are weak, disgust, and furious if they are strong.

Nile belongs to the latter.

At this time, his two pet's legs were still shaking in fear. The pressure that their master lets out due to rage just couldn't be underestimated. They didn't know if they could still eat happily after this, though.

After a while of searching, they finally found a fruit that has a hard shell in nature. It was a mutated almond nut. The almond tree was tall, but it's not a problem for Nile, who basically could jump a dozen meters up in the air.

He fetched a handful of nuts and stored them inside the storage space, just a little away from Croco's innards supply.

Maximo had already tried the almond nuts, and he was satisfied with its taste and hard mutated parts. Croco still has a huge amount of innards supply, so they wouldn't search and resupply the stocks purposely unless necessary.

They then searched for a suitable place to stay for the night.

"You two also don't feel like eating?" He asked after seeing the two pet's food still untouched even after a few minutes. Normally, they would even race on who could finish their food first.

To be honest, he also doesn't feel like eating. After what he had done earlier, dicing the hybrid's body into many pieces, the human flesh-eating hybrid, he didn't know if there's still someone who could eat happily after that.

However, due to the Instant Adapter talent, he could still eat. But it didn't mean he enjoyed the eating process.

The Instant Adapter Talent lets him adapt to certain things, whether in combat or out of combat. However, it is not almighty. There are things it could only barely affect, feelings are one of them. It can make him calm down from intense rage or whatnot, but that doesn't mean it would let the feelings dissipate. It only lowered its intensity.

"You can return them to me if you don't want to eat it." He offered, as he cracks an almond using the nutcracker that is transformed from the Weapon of Change. He then puts the kernel inside his mouth and eats it with another cracking sound.

'Arrgh! This nut is so hard!' He thought.

Hearing their master's offer, the two immediately became alert, and without another second wasted, both of them took their food and went towards a corner to eat it.

The two could only eat their dinner forcefully, afraid that their master might take them back.

'I am not disgusted by the human eating hybrid, alright? It's the pressure you let out that made me like this! It feels like there's boiling water inside my stomach.' The two animals thought at the same time.

Sounds of eating echoed around the place with cracking and wet sounds of something being chewed.

Maximo, in particular, ate the almond nuts as if it was his mortal enemy. Loud cracking noise as he directly stuffs multiple nuts inside his mouth. He doesn't need to crack it open with a nutcracker, his jaw was enough for that. He also felt that it would be a waste to let go of the almond nut's mutated shell and hull.

Croco, on the other hand, enjoyed the innards very well. Every time meat would enter his jaw, his expression would always turn into that of a man who tasted heaven for the first time.

In the area where Nile had diced the hybrid, a man was squatting as he touched the minced meat on the ground.

"A hybrid?" He said as he drew out his sword and alertly inspected the surrounding area.

'No, based on the color of the blood, it doesn't look like it was diced a moment ago! An hour or two, perhaps?' He mumbled slowly, afraid that his voice might attract unwanted intentions.

A hybrid's blood has the color of pale red or pink if it's still fresh. It would then turn into a darker shade of pink after a couple of minutes of being exposed outside the hybrid's body.

Hybrids would often go out together to hunt either humans or zombies.

There is a saying that goes like this,

Once tasted, always wanted.

Just like a man who had gone to a brothel for the first time. They would feel guilt and shame for the first time, but they would then keep coming back for more once they tried it.

The man was not worried about the hybrid's companion though, what he worried about was the hybrid killer.
