At the westmost area of Daan's town, one group of hybrids stood atop a tall tree as they stared at the human survivor base at a distance.
"There are dozens of humans there right?" One hybrid asked while licking his lips. He had just become a hybrid a few days ago and was still not accustomed to being one. But because of being a hybrid, the desire to eat human flesh was still apparent in his eyes.
"Yeah, but we can't go there. We will be killed instantly." One hybrid man said with greed apparent in his eyes as he imagined dozens of human thighs being served on his plate.
"Tsk! I haven't eaten human meat for a few days now. Zombie meats are greasy and not as juicy as human meat." A hybrid said with eyes full of desire.
"We could only hope to find a stray human night, or else, I might as well sneak towards that base and get some human drumsticks there for myself."
"Then let's better get going, else the other group might find that stray human first."
"Let's go, I'll book the two eyeballs in advance, alright?"
"Testicles are my favorite."
"Hmmm! Nothing could beat the taste of the liver and heart. They are full of nutrients."
The hybrids argued as they jumped off the tall tree and resumed searching for prey.

After praying for the dozens of Gods he knew, Nile instantly went outside the building they were staying at.
On his System Map, at the area 150 meters away, dozens of orange-red dots appeared all of a sudden.
'Why do every time one of us evolve, problems keep on popping up?' He grumbled as he arrived outside the building.
He glanced at the surroundings and noticed that it was cramped with only the road as the free space. The buildings around only occupied a small area as they were only mostly one or two stories tall. The place was not suitable for group battle, but as it's only him for now, the cramped space would be an advantage for him. He expected that Maximo would also evolve soon, and he can only do this on his own.
He can only do his best to defend the building to let them peacefully evolve.
'Let's not wait for them to come here.' He thought.
A smirk then surfaced on his face under the face mask.
'Whoever dared to enter the 150-meter area around me will become dead meat.'
He said domineeringly as he hopped into the air and landed on the rooftop of a two-story building.
'The first target is 45 meters away. This hybrid is alone, I should finish it instantly and get rid of the group that is also approaching.'
He said as he hopped from one building to another and arrived at area 100 plus meters away from the building after a few seconds.
The moment he arrived and confirmed that the figure he was looking at is a hybrid, he instantly transformed the Weapon of Change into a spear and threw it towards the hybrid at the ground.
The spear traveled and tore the air as it directly skewered the hybrid's head.
Simultaneously, the feeling of repulse appeared inside him, but due to the instant adapter talent, he controlled it instantly.
He had the urge to dice the hybrid's body again, just like what he did to the previous one, but as he still has some hybrids on the line to slaughter, he could only pull the spear from the hybrid's head using the string that was attached to it.
Inside his mind, a System prompt appeared, but he ignored it for now. It's not that important as the System didn't flash it three times.
After pulling the spear, he moved and went towards the next location with a group of orange dots clustered together.
Just like him, the orange dots were also moving quite fast, he guessed that all of them must be at the middle stage of being Level One° hybrids, basing on their speed.
There were five of them, and the instant he arrived at their location, he jumped down to intercept them. Two red glows transpired on his hand at the same time, as the Weapon of Changes did its magic to transform into a weapon of his choice.
The two rings that came from the Weapon of Change transformed themselves into two short swords in an instant.

Two swooshing sounds echoed as two heads spun in the air after Nile slashed their neck.
The remaining group of hybrids was startled as all of them instantly jumped back to withdraw and keep a distance from the man who ambushed them all of a sudden.
"WHO ARE YOU?" One hybrid shouted, trying to attract the attention of the other hybrid companions that were also hunting around the town.
He paused for a second before he took a peek at the two remaining hybrids on his side. As if an understanding has been made without talking, all of them instantly bolstered and escaped in three different directions at the same time.
They were not fools. For the man to kill two of them instantly during the night, when their powers are boosted, and senses heightened, only means one thing.
The opponent was a Level Two° human or even had the chance of being a Level Three°.
Unfortunately for them, Nile wouldn't let them, the scums of the world escape his grasp.
