At the tail on his back, traces of meat paste was plastered all over the head of his sledgehammer tail. From that alone, it could be inferred that a hybrid's head was definitely smashed and was reduce into puddles of meat by that sledgehammer of his.
'How dare they interrupt my meal!' A trace of disdain was planted on his face after seeing the lifeless bodies on the ground. He shook his head to get rid of the hybrid hanging on his horn. One last time, he shook his whole body like a dog to get rid of the pinkish blood that dyed the clothe armor and some of his metallic hide.
The instant his body stopped shaking, he immediately looks towards his master Nile.
Instantly, the arrogant and smug look on his face was now replaced with an ass-licking expression. His tongue was stuck out like a hyperventilating dog, as he tried to lick his master's face.
Nile pushed Maximo's mouth that was full of dripping salivas away. He knew what's this ass-licking carabao planned to do.
'Gib me more food!'
Nile patted the carabao's head as the Weapon of Change transformed back into a ring that automatically slid on his two fingers.
"How's Croc?" He asked the thing that he was worried about. If Croco's evolution was interrupted, that would be quite a waste.
Maximo straightened his body like an erect soldier as he patted his chest as if recommending his self. He boasted about how he defended Croco all by himself, of course at the last moment, a pitiful look appeared on his face as he tried to extort some food from his master.
"Tsk! This is definitely the last one. And why haven't you evolved yet after eating those many almond nuts?" He said as he handed another batch of almond nuts towards the sly carabao.
After eating those many almond nuts, Maximo still hasn't triggered his evolution. It even had the gall to ask for more. He no longer knew what he should do. He expected for his two animals to evolve at the same time.
Alas… his expectation was shattered seeing Maximo here. Well, he didn't feel regret over it for long though, as he knew that without Maximo defending the turf, Croco's evolution would definitely be interrupted.
He went inside the building to check the evolving Croco. At this moment, the room had become messier except the corner where Croco was currently lying at. It seems that Maximo had defended his friend, Croco very well.
Croco's eyes were still trembling a little as if he was trying to wake up from a nightmare. At this moment, Nile had observed that his body was excreting dark slimy fluids. It was only a couple of minutes since he left but Croco's size had definitely shrunk by at least a fifth compared to before.
