[To Randolph Academy]

We finally crossed the checkpoint and officially entered Salencia Kingdom.

Without any detours, we headed straight to Randolph Academy in the royal capital.

The royal capital of Salencia was bustling much like Bramshal’s.

“Look at all these people,” Tayte exclaimed.

I nodded. “With its recent flourishing in the tourism industry, quite a few of them are tourists.”

Surrounded by magnificent natural beauty, it was only logical for Salencia Kingdom to focus on its tourism industry. In fact, I’d dare bet that it was their primary source of income now—its abundant nature was simply so beautiful.

As we took in the captivating view of the capital, we soon arrived at the academy.

Many faculty members and students were already waiting to welcome us there.

After parking the carriage in the academy’s front square and stepping outside, a group of students eagerly approached us.

Leading the way was a girl whose features exuded an air of elegance—more pretty than cute.

“Thank you for making the journey to Randolph Academy.”

With a graceful bow, the poised student introduced herself.

“My name is Annette Francona and I am the student council president of Randolph Academy. It is a pleasure to meet you.”

“The pleasure is mine. I am Barrett Albers, the student council president of Astor Academy.”

As I had suspected, the girl leading the group was indeed the student council president.

I introduced myself to her and extended a handshake.

Following that, she greeted the other members of the student council and the Knights of the Academy. With the pleasantries concluded, Annette, accompanied by her vice-president, a boy named Marze, guided us into the school building.

The size of the campus was not much different from the Astor Academy we attended.

However, it was the modernity of the academy’s architecture that truly captured my attention.

In addition to the central school building, renowned for its historical significance, a total of four other school buildings dotted the campus, and they were all beautiful as if they had just been built recently.

Curious, I asked President Annette.

“Your guess is correct. Aside from the central school building, the other school buildings were erected a mere five years ago.”

“Huh? Are you saying that all four of the additional buildings were constructed simultaneously?”

“Yes. The growth in the tourism industry apparently provided a financial boost and led to an influx of tourists. Hence, the government took this opportunity to carry out a thorough educational reform. Additionally, the influx of immigrants from various countries played a role in shaping this decision, or so I’ve heard.”

I see.

So there was that kind of circumstances.

In that case, was this short-term study abroad program part of this educational reform?

The traditional Astor Academy and the up-and-coming Randolph Academy.

While these two institutions may differ greatly, their shared enthusiasm for education might be a common thread.

After walking for a while, we found ourselves in the courtyard.

A collection of vibrant flowers adorned the space, creating a charming little garden.

“Wow!”

As expected, Tayte was the first to express her amazement.

In tow, Eureka, her dedicated maid, hurried after Tayte, while other members such as Kleine, Jarvis, and Madeline seemed intrigued, their eyes gleaming as they surveyed the garden.

Even Raul and Andrei, typically disinterested in botanical matters, couldn’t help but marvel at the meticulously maintained garden, saying, “Impressive.”

“It’s truly stunning.”

“Thank you. It is our source of pride.”

Vice-President Marze said happily.

Indeed, such a beautiful garden was definitely a point of pride.

While admiring the garden, my gaze came to rest upon a statue within it.

“Huh? Is that…”

It was a statue of a dragon.
