[Marina’s Worries]

The next day.

As I had promised yesterday, I made today Marina’s big homecoming day.

She hardly ever got to see her parents because of her job, so she better make the most of this opportunity.

“…………”

I tried to see her off with Tayte, but she had an uncomfortable look on her face.

“Is something bothering you?”

“Ah, n-not at all… It’s just…”

Marina seemed reluctant to open up. But if something’s on her mind, it’d be good for her to talk about it. So, I asked her, but…

“I just remembered that I had received a letter from my parents a while ago. They were asking if I have any plans to get married soon…” Marina spoke with a gloomy expression.

Marriage, huh… I instinctively glanced at Tayte, and we just so happened to lock eyes, as if we were both thinking the same thing.

Embarrassed, we averted our gazes,

“They would probably be really happy if I brought home a fiancé, or even just a boyfriend.” She said with an unusually depressed tone.

I know it’s kind of rude to say this, but… Marina, you really wanted to get married, huh. Considering her job, it must be tough for her to meet potential partners… I probably could introduce her to a good guy, but I’d also be in a tight spot if she decided to just up and quit.

“Marriage, huh… I haven’t really given it much thought-nya.”

“Well, Marina and I are reaching that age where it’s something to start considering.”

Priim didn’t seem to be interested in marriage at all, whereas Rebecca was quite the opposite. She was an intelligent woman, so if she genuinely wanted to get married, I’d certainly help her find a suitable partner.

After a series of events, we eventually managed to send Marina off with a smile.

“For the time being, it’ll be just the two of us, so let’s give it our all, Priim.”

“Nya! You can count on me-nya!”

It was reassuring to have both of them while Marina visited her parents. You really had to have good maids. …Tough, in Priim’s case, it was as long as she didn’t get too carried away.

Sent off by the two enthusiastic maids, Tayte and I made our way to school.

Despite the suspicious men infiltrating the dungeon yesterday, the atmosphere on campus seemed business as usual.

It was possible that Randolph Academy’s teachers had already caught the intruders. Miss Teixeira did mention that they were quite skilled.

On the way, Tayte and I met up with Jarvis, Raul, and the others, and together we headed to the classroom we had been guided to yesterday.

“We’ll be having a classroom lecture for today’s class.”

“A classroom lecture, huh…”

“Andrei, just a request, try to keep your snoring in check and not disrupt the class, alright?”

“Excuse me? Madeline, let me clarify that I do not snore while sleeping, so please cease these false accusations.”

“So you’re not denying that you might doze off?”

“Ahaha…”

Andrei, Madeline, Kleine, and Eureka were all as usual.

Only Raul seemed a bit off.

“Raul, did something happen?”

“N-no, not at all.”

…Come on, it’s so obvious you’re lying, Raul.

Seemed that something indeed had happened.
