[Last Day of Short-term Study Abroad]

Today marked the end of our short-term study abroad at Randolph Academy in the Salencia Kingdom.

For the day, the academy had canceled classes to host a farewell party in our honor.

“Alright, I’m off.”

“Take care-nya!”

“We will join you in front of the campus with Marina.”

“Got it.”

Leaving Randolph Academy was bittersweet for me since I had just started getting used to being here. However, Marina was likely even more emotional as this was her home country. According to Rebecca and Priim, Marina hadn’t returned home much since becoming a maid.

Lost in these thoughts, I ran into Tayte.

“It’s finally the last day.”

“Yeah, it feels like we just arrived yesterday, but time flew by.”

“Absolutely.”

Tayte and I reminisced about the memories we had created during our time at the school.

As for the two suspicious men we had seen in the academy’s dungeon and on the campus at midnight, we weren’t given a detailed explanation. However, since there were no notable suspicious activities, they probably deemed it not a significant concern.

With my responsibilities fulfilled, I could now safely head back to the Bramshal Kingdom.

My first priority would be to return home and update my father and mother.

We began the day by assembling in the hall.

The farewell ceremony was scheduled here today, and in the afternoon, we would be departing for the Bramshal Kingdom.

The farewell ceremony was quite elaborate.

Randolph Academy organized a variety of performances for our entertainment, including student orchestra recitals and magic displays.

Finally, each of us received a letter of appreciation and a friendship medal, bringing the ceremony to a close.

Following a delightful lunch gathering, we prepared to board the carriages for our journey back to the Bramshal Kingdom.

“We’ll visit next time.”

“I’m already looking forward to it.”

Annette and I, being the student council presidents of each other’s academies, exchanged handshakes.

We had plans to invite some students from Randolph Academy to our own academy’s fall festival, with arrangements for them to stay in the dorms. Once the summer break was over, we had to start preparing for it. The experiences we had shared with the students here were unforgettable, and we were determined to reciprocate in kind.

Pulling myself together, I waited by the main gate of the campus where the carriages were being readied, along with the others.

““Young Master!!””

At that moment, Rebecca and Priim came rushing toward us, clearly flustered.

It was one thing for Priim, but to see even Rebecca, typically composed, so distressed… What could have happened?

“What’s the matter?”

“T-that’s…”

“Maria has gone missing!”

“W-what?!”

Marina, who had been away to visit her parents, was now missing.

Considering her diligent nature, it was unlikely that she was slacking off. Maybe the nostalgia of returning to her hometown after a long time had overwhelmed her?

“There’s no helping it, I’ll ask the others to depart first.”

“B-but!”

“I’m worried about Marina. I’ll search for her myself.”

“I’ll help, Barrett!”

Hearing the story, Tayte decided to join the search.

Eureka, her personal maid, also joined in. Raul followed, worried about Eureka.

And so, after asking Jarvis, Andrei, Madeline, and Kleine to return to Astor Academy first, the rest of us started searching for Marina.
