[Homecoming]

After returning home for a while, I had spent three days just relaxing.

“Man, the dormitory is nice and all, but there’s nothing like being in your own home.”

“Hehehe, that’s true. I’ll go get your tea.”

“Thanks, Marina.”

Tayte was scheduled to visit my place in three days.

However, I couldn’t help but recall the incident where she had been held hostage. Back then, the Ehrenbergs were visiting another noble’s territory when the incident occurred. I was sure she would be more cautious to avoid something like that happening again, but I couldn’t shake my worries.

This time, I had come back home to spend some quality summer time with Tayte.

The other members of the student council had also returned to their own homes to enjoy their summer break.

Well, except for Raul.

Raul was deeply affected by the recent incident. It seemed he was profoundly shaken by the fact that he hadn’t noticed the existence of the mastermind in the warehouse district when I had.

I mean, I believed I had managed to notice him primarily due to the inherent power of the Holy Sword… but in any case, I told him that it wasn’t his fault, but…

[Lord Barrett… Even if that’s the case, this has made me realize my own inexperience. I’ll spend the rest of the summer retraining from scratch with my master.]

He was exceptionally diligent, perhaps to a fault… But then again, that aspect of him was undoubtedly what made the original novel so popular. The only difference about him in this world was that he didn’t form a harem.

“Please enjoy, Young Master.”

“Don’t mind if I do.”

I took a sip of the tea that Marina had prepared for me. As always, it was perfectly to my taste. It was no surprise, considering she had been serving as my personal maid for such a long time.

Just then, lively voices could be heard from outside my room.

“Are those visitors?”

“I believe it’s Young Miss Reina and her fiancé. It’s about time for them to return.”

“Ah, now that you mention it, it is. -Okay, let’s go greet them.”

“Yes.”

There was something I had been looking forward to just as much as spending time with Tayte.

That was Reina and Sir Abel’s wedding.

Originally, they had planned to have the wedding much later, but since it was almost certain that Tayte and I would be getting married right after graduation, they decided to move the wedding ceremony forward.

However, it seemed that even after they got married, Reina would continue to serve in the knight order.

She and Sir Abel formed a formidable duo, and the order didn’t want to let go of a talent like her. As her brother, I might be biased when I said this, but Reina was not only beautiful but also highly skilled with a sword. She was admired by both men and women.

Reina took pride in her work with the order and wished to continue serving as a knight. Simultaneously, she also harbored a desire to have children with Sir Abel and become a mother.

Well, I had no doubt that Reina would manage to balance being a knight and a mother perfectly well.

Accompanied by Marina and my other two personal maids, I made my way to the first floor.

As expected, I found Reina and Sir Abel there.

“Hey, it’s been a while, Barrett.”

“You’ve been doing well, I hope?”

“Yes, of course!”

Both Reina and Sir Abel wore cheerful expressions, clearly indicating that their days had been fulfilling.

Well, now, I guessed I’d have them share some of their love stories.
