[How to Enjoy Summer Break]
One day, Tayte and I were enjoying a fun summer break when some unexpected visitors arrived at the villa.
“Hey there, Barrett,” greeted one of the newcomers.
“How’s it going?” the other chimed in.
The visitors were Jarvis and Andrei.
The two of them—or rather all members of the student council had made a promise long before.
“I’ve been waiting for you both,” Tayte said, smiling warmly.
“I’m glad to see you’re doing well!” Eureka remarked with genuine happiness.
It marked our first reunion since returning to the academy after our short-term study abroad in the Salencia Kingdom. After a brief catch-up, Tayte and I informed our parents that we were heading out with Jarvis and Andrei. Since we had told them our plans in advance, our parents easily granted us permission.
Afterward, together, we headed to a small hill nearby.
Apparently, you could clearly see the stars from there, the stars were particularly clear from there, so we had planned before the summer break to gather there and have fun camping before the new term started.
Andrei and Kleine also had a villa in the area. Jarvis and Madeline, too, used to spend their summers here, but the events with their families had led them to decide to stay at the academy after the study abroad.
However, Kleine had invited them to her villa, so they ended up spending their summer there instead.
As for Raul…
“How’s Raul?”
“He arrived at my place yesterday. He and Madeline have gone ahead to secure us a good spot.”
Seemed like Raul had been staying at Andrei’s villa.
We proceeded leisurely along the peaceful country road.
We continued our journey at a leisurely pace along the peaceful country road. As young heirs and heiresses from noble families, we were accompanied by guards and maids. Although they didn’t show it openly—most likely to let us enjoy our outing—the guards were on high alert.
Meanwhile, Eureka seemed unusually fidgety.

Soon enough, we reached our destination.
Raul, Madeline, and Kleine’s friend (or lover?) Melia were already waiting for us.
“Oh, took you long enough.”
“Well, we were enjoying the scenery.”
“…I can’t believe the words “enjoying the scenery” came out of your mouth…”
The original Barrett had clearly made a lasting impression on Kleine.
But well, she had been treating me way better than she used to, anyway.
“Okay, let’s cook ourselves some outdoor barbecue!”
“I’ll prepare the ingredients!”
Andrei and Madeline took charge of starting the fire and preparing the high-quality ingredients for grilling. It was evident that the barbecue was going to be top-notch, with the finest ingredients at our disposal.
“Let’s help, too, Barrett.”
“Sure thing.”
Tayte and I joined to help with the preparations.
