Ji An was feeling bliss. The garden was full of flower, the sunlight was warm against her skin. It was perfect. The white flower bloomed perfectly, with a small breeze, a handful of its pollen flew around her, bringing the nice fresh aroma across.
The cloud was white and fluffy, moved by the wind as if kids chasing each other in the vast field. Ji An was lying down on top of the soft grass. There was no one but her. She could feel herself slowly falling asleep and awaken up by a sound of thunder.
When she opened her eyes, the bright and cheery cloud had turned dark grey. Lightning and thunder kept coming one after another. Ji An quickly ran away, to hide under the tree. When she was thinking that she was finally save from water, a hand grabbed her feet and dragged her down. No matter how many times she tried to scream, no voice was coming out from her mouth.
Terror filled her face and her mind. She was trying so hard to kick and when she was finally free, she was no longer in the peaceful garden. Everything around her was dark, with a dim street lamp. No other person was around except for her. A heavy breath was coming near her, the alcohol smell was suffocating her. She did not dare to turn around, she kept running and running until she had no energy left on her legs and she fell down.
A hand snaked around her body, touching her womanly parts. She wanted to scream, to run away. She was trying so hard to survive. She could taste iron from her own blood, she did not know how she could bleed but on top of her was now a buff guy. He was there, as part of her nightmare and his hand was coming close to strangle her and take her life away.
"No, no! Go away! No! No!" Ji An kept screaming. Her arms were flailing, to create another barrier between her and the buff guy.
Hearing her crying sound, Jun who was fallen asleep now wide awake. He saw Ji An hand kept moving around. Cold sweat was starting form around her neck and forehead. She looked helpless and terrorized. Jun quickly shook her body and calling her name while hugging her close," Ji An. Wake up, please. Song Ji An, I am here. You are safe. I am here."
With his gentleness and nudge, Ji An body stopped jerking and both of her arms fell down weakly against hospital white sheet. Jun still cradled and hugged her close, afraid that if he let her go Ji An would not be able to sleep.
"Lee Jun-ssi, you can put me down." Jun was startled. He immediately looked down and could see Ji An bright eyes looked back at him
"You're awake." Immense relieved could be felt spreading slowly against his body. He was dreading the moment Ji An would be awaken from her deep sleep, however he could not wait to be able to look into her clear eyes.
"Are you okay? Do you want anything?" Jun had put Ji An back to her bed.
Ji An felt her throat very dry and her voice had turned raspy. She found difficulty swallowing her own salive,"Water."
Jun passed her a glass with a straw,"Drink slowly. Slowly, okay? I am calling the doctor. Hold this cup."
However, Jun could not go. Ji An pulled his clothes with her small bruised hand,"Don't go." She sounded weak and afraid. Ji An did not want to be alone. The trauma was still fresh on her mind. She was lying if she was not terrified at all.
"Okay, I am not going. I am staying with you." Jun , who was initially wanted to shout and call the doctor on duty, needed to keep his cool and stay beside Ji An. He pressed the call button beside her bed, waiting for the nurse to come in.
A short while later, the nurse knocked and went inside,"What's wrong?"
"Nurse! She is awake. Could you please call the doctor?"
"Oh, really? Sure!" The nurse went back to her station and pinged the doctor to come and check on Ji An.
Within minutes, the tired looking doctor went inside the room and did one round of general check up. After checking her eyes, limb, heartbeat and asked a few questions, he was finally done.
"Doctor, how is she?" Jun was asking anxiously by her side. He was holding Ji An hand, showing her his presence.
"Her vital is good. She is recovering. You might feel a bit of sore around your bruised area. If it is too painful for you, you can call the nurse for painkiller. You just need more rest and you can go home in a few days."
Jun thanked the doctor and showed him out of the room.
"Ji An, just now your Song Ho Oppa and Ha Na were here. Do you want me to call them?"
Ji An shook her head,"It's okay. It's already very late. I am still feeling tired." Ji An slowly dozed off. Jun let her back to sleep and keep holding her hand.
With his free hand, he dropped a text to both Ha Na and Song Ho telling them about Ji An updated condition.
The next morning
Ha Na and Song Ho Oppa reached hospital quite early. They were excited to hear Ji An latest news from Jun and they wanted to be by her side when she opened her eyes again. After the two of them met at the hospital lobby, they immediately went up to Ji An room.
The door to Ji An room was slightly ajar. Ha Na opened the door slowly, afraid to wake Ji An up. However her action was stopped after she just slightly opened the door.
She saw Jun was sleeping while still sitting on the uncomfortable hospital chair. His hand held Ji An hand and his face was closely laid down beside their joined hands. Ji An looked so peaceful in her sleep. Did not want to waste the beautiful view in front of her, Ha Na quickly snapped a picture of two of them before walking in.
