When she just arrived at the door, she heard Vivian's voice again.

"Look at you. Why are you so upset? Did she really dump you?" Vivian stepped to Faith's side at a slow pace. "Well, Faith, if you can help me be as successful as her, I promise I can provide you with a luxurious life."

"You? You're barely comparable to her," Faith snorted.

Faith did contribute to Kylie's success, but it also relied on Kylie's diligence and Ethan's support.

Faith thought Vivian should find herself a powerful boyfriend at first if she wanted to compare with Kylie.

Before Faith said that, Vivian smiled.

She walked to Faith's front and abruptly lifted her dress. There were countless bruises around her legs. "I can do everything for fame, can she?"

Faith squinted.

Kylie, of course, couldn't.

If Kylie had been willing to do that, she wouldn't have been frozen out by Laurence for so many years.

Those directors who ached to taste Kylie's body would have brought great fame to her as well!

However, Kylie hated that, and she had never yielded to unspoken rules.

Faith changed her mind and asked in a deep voice, "Why should I believe you?"

Vivian took out a checkbook from her bad, then wrote down a long line of numbers without hesitation. "Here, let me buy you a cup of coffee." She slid it into Faith's pocket. "As long as you're willing to help me, I can send you a downtown house."

Downtown house cost at least over a million dollars.

Faith bit her lips and took a long breath. "Wait for my message." After that, she quickly left without looking back at all.

Vivian's assistant asked her in a low voice, "Vivian, do you have a downtown house under your name?"

Vivian rolled her eyes at her assistant. "Idiot! I don't have, but Harvey has."

She threw her bag to her assistant's body. "As long as she's willing to help me, I can make much more money than just a house!"

Her assistant was a yes-man and didn't dare argue against her.

The banquet began.

Vivian shook her hips towards Harvey's side. She pretended that they weren't familiar. "Mr. Wyatt, may I have a seat here?"

"Sure." Harvey pulled the chair out for her. The moment Vivian sat down, his hand uncovered her legs and moved around.

Kylie and James sat by Kate's sides, and Kate joked that she had set a couple apart.

James air-kissed Kylie politely. They chatted for a while, then started to talk about the script.

"I do feel for my role in the show now." James had a sip of wine. "My mother and my wife often argue against each other in the house."

Kylie smiled. "I think you must treat your wife very well right before your mother's eyes."

"How do you know that?" James rounded his eyes in shock.

"Really?" James was surprised. "Kylie, are you already married? Why do you know it so clearly?"

Bill put down his glass and looked at them. "Kylie, I watched the proposal video too. You're not married yet, aren't you?"

"Nope," Kylie replied. "There is a housemaid in my home, and I've talked with her about this topic, so I got to learn a little about it."

Hearing that, Kate was very satisfied. "You're a good actress."

Bill also nodded with satisfaction. He now was confident this show could be popular even before the shooting began.

Vivian, instead, didn't pay any attention to their discussion but focused on how to get a downtown house from Harvey.

Harvey seemed to be enjoying the red wine with a calm face, but his hand was studying the mysterious garden under the table.

Vivian sandwiched his fingers and said in a low voice, "It's still swollen."

Harvey turned to look at her. "My fingers are much thinner than a bottleneck."

Saying that, he knocked his fingers on her most vulnerable part.

Vivian did her best to tolerate it, then raised a smile and poured red wine into Harvey's glass. "I think of you every time I see a wine bottle now. It's s-so delicious."

Harvey wore a creepy smile. "I know something funnier than that. Do you want to have a try?"

Vivian pretended that it was a difficult decision for her to make. "I went to see houses the other day downtown, and I've noticed many houses with good locations there..."

Harvey understood what she meant at once. He nodded. "Call me when you find your favorite one. I'll buy it for you."

"Deal." Vivian clinked her glass against Harvey's.

Bill had a simple introduction about the characters in the show, then looked to Vivian all of a sudden. "You're a key character in it, and you must act it well."

"What?" Vivian got rid of Harvey's fingers and stood up in a hurry.

Bill glared at Harvey, then repeated his sentence. Vivian made a promise without delay. "Sure, I promise I won't let you down."

In the middle of the banquet, many people came to drink and chat with the Wyatt brothers, and Kylie seized this break to use the ladies' room.

Vivian followed her up.

"Kylie, why is Faith absent tonight?" She leaned on the door and asked Kylie. "If you don't want her anymore, would you mind if I hired her?"

"Do whatever you want." Kylie didn't bother to give her a glance.

"Well, I think Faith is a good smart girl, but she made a terrible mistake. She fell in deep love with a man who loves you deeply," Vivian said. "I'm afraid you can't have her pure loyalty in the workplace, right?"

Hearing that, Kylie didn't seem surprised at all but smiled at Vivian. "You've done your homework very well. Good for you, but do remember it's hard to control an ambitious person."

Vivian wanted to see Kylie being mad or humiliated, but Kylie looked so calm, and she felt like she had been trapped.

Fannie, at the same time, stopped Faith when she noticed her walking out of the washroom.

"Faith, what's in your hand?" Fannie called her from her back, which scared Faith, and she almost stepped on the air.

Faith panicked a little, then calmed herself down. "I know you and Kylie are very close, and she'll never abandon you. You can also live a luxurious life without her, b- but I'm different."

She moved a step backward and took a long breath in. "I'm the only one who's making money in my family. I can't use the money Ken left for me. What can I do?"

"So?" Fannie stared at the check-in hand. "You're leaving Kylie?"

Faith's eyes were full of tears now. "Don't worry. I won't leak any information about Kylie, no matter who's my new boss in the future." After that, Faith ran away.

However, she was in a terrible mood, and didn't pay much attention to the stairs and knelt on the ground at short notice.

Faith wiped her eyes with her back facing Fannie. She struggled to get back on her feet and stumbled away.

Fannie called Kylie at once.

Kylie made an excuse and left the meeting hall. She didn't open her mouth until she sat in the car with Lucas.

"Let her go if she wants to leave. Lucas, send Faith another check tomorrow. No matter how much Vivian gave her, I'll give her double," Kylie said with a serious face.
