Inola and Onacona are up and out of the house before anyone wakes. They have a backpack with dried sage lavender white crystals and black tourmaline. They head for the shack . When they arrived at the waterfall , Inola noticed that the chill was stronger today then yesterday when they passed the willow. Asking Onacona .
"Let's look around here for a few moments. I got a bad chill yesterday walking past the willow. It's worse today there may be something to it . " Onacona agrees and they start looking for anything that should not be. After about an hour they sit to take a rest . Onacona asks him.
" I feel there is something but we just can't figure it out. How about we give John a call and have him come pray over the land. With the three of us it could be just what is needed. " Inola agreed he takes out his phone and gives him a call. John agreed and tells them to wait for him . They decide to go back to the house to wait for him since they don't know how long it may take. Walking back towards the house they see a strange sight. A hawk is sitting in the willow watching them. When they got up yo leave it followed. By the time they got to the end of the drive John was there . They told him some of what has been going on and he just nodded and followed them. Looking up at the tree just by the drive he sees the hawk. Asking them
"How long has our friend there been hovering?" They turn to look and see it's still close by. Onacona answers.
"Just after we called you. Do you know something about him?" Asking John
"He and I are old friends. When ever I am in need of direction in my life he would appear . Looks like he wants to show us something. So let's see where he takes us. " John whistles and the hawk takes flight. The three men follow him he lands and sits on the lowest branch of the willow. Inola tells John .
"This is where the bad feeling began and the chill is a dark coldness. We couldn't find anything that's why we called you. We think if you pray with us we can find what is here and set it to rest. " John walks over to the willow and motions for the other two to come with him. He sprinkles olive oil around the tree and they hold hands. Bowing his head John begins to pray.
"Get away you do not belong here. This is my domain. Leave now and never return. " the tree begins to shake trying to get him away. John picks up the olive oil and begins to fling it at the tree .
" in the name of the father leave this place you are not welcome here. In the mane of the son leave this place you are not welcome here. " with every drop of oil the tree splits apart . Onacona is on the ground now and he and Inola are repeating John. When the three of them lay their hands on the tree it splits in two. There standing before them is two petrified bodies intertwined. At first they look of wood but closer inspection they are bone. Inola looks at them and tells them.
"I think we just found the black witch and her son. Now what are we to do?" A rumble in the sky can be heard the clouds roll over the sun. It's almost black as night. There is thunder clasping the ground begins to shake. In a flash of lighting strikes and the wood of the willow begins to burn. The two bodies begin to move apart .slow movements at first barely noticeable. The three men are still praying but Inola and Onacona are placing the clear crystals in a circle around the two bodies. Mixing the salt and olive oil they make an outer circle. Inola says the incantation to bind them inside the circle. Onacona's heart is pounding out of his chest it feels like while the other two seem to be calm . The witch tries to move from the circle but cannot. She tries using a spell to break it but cannot. Her eyes black as night glaring at them as she tries to curse them. They hear her telling the man to get up they need to join their power. He just lays there on the ground staring up at her not moving. She grabs the pendant at her neck and begins another spell. Inola has already rubbed his crystal to call for Uktena.
John grabs their hands and begins to pray again.
"Father before us is an old evil we ask that you send your servants a sign as to how to destroy it. We ask for the courage and strength to fight this evil this unholy abomination before us. " the wind begins to swirl and the sky begins to rumble. The witch begins to laugh
"Your God is nothing compared to me . He will not answer . He is just a story that you made up thousands of years ago to have something to believe in. There is no mercy in this world only evil. When I get out of this cage I will devour you ." She begins muttering a spell. Trying to get the crystals to move to break the bound circle. Thinking that her spell is working the man stands and holds the witches hand. There is a blinding light coming from the direction of town. The light is so bright that the three men must close their eyes placing their hats over their faces. When the light passes through th two intertwined bodies begin to burn. The screaming from the flames is deafening. The three men refuse to stop praying until there is nothing but ash left. When the fire finally goes out the clouds move away and the sun comes back out. The wind blows the ash away. It's as if the willow had never existed. The hawk calls and flies towards the shack.
"praise be to God ,thank you lord for protecting us . Now I wonder where our friend is taking us. " John asks as they continue to follow the hawk. When they come to the old shack all of the overgrowth has burned away . They open the hatch and with their flash lights they see crystals sitting in the dirt of the walls. They are glowing in the darkness of the room. Inola and Onacona begin to place sage and salt with oil in a pile one the floor. Telling john
"bring us the crystals and get ready to cover your ears. " as John places the crystals on top of the pile of sage . When the last one is placed Inola asks him to say a prayer releasing the souls. John begins
"Heavenly Father we send these precious souls back to you . Father I ask that you give them peace and surround them with your grace and love. For their lives were cut short and used for evil not of their choosing. Give them your salvation and a place in heaven Amen "
Inola says amen and lights the pile. The smoke fills the room and the crystals begin to glow as each one heats they see the young girls glowing spirits each smiling as they disappear. When the last one has gone Inola turns to the other two.
"I suggest we cleanse this entire area and burn the interior of this cellar to ensure all have been released and cleaned. Thank you again John for you help. We could not have done it alone. You are truly a blessed man of God . " the three men hug and get to work setting a fire that will completely burn the foundation of the shack where nothing will be untouched. They climbed out and began to tear apart the floor. Dropping the wood into the pit. Making sure that it is in small enough pieces to burn through. Mixing the salt ,sage and oil. Having it in layers will insure it will burn through. After several hours it is time to light the pit. Fingers crossed that it will burn the way they want. Inola lights a flair and throws it in the pit. The charcoal begins to crackle and ignights the mixture. In a matter of minutes the smoke of the sage begins to move across the land cleansing it of all evil. The three sit at the side of the pit until every last ember has one out. The sage has made a dense fog across the land reaching from the shack to just past the waterfall. When night falls they can still see some burning coals . They stay until it is completely out before heading home. The sage began to clear and the moon shone as if it was day to guide their path . The three friends know that the evil is gone .
Onacona wonders what is happening to the kids in the time they are in . If what they did today had any affect on them. Inola wonders what the kids did today and if what the did helped them defeat the witch today. John is hope he kids are safe and is thanking God for his grace in defeating the evil .
