"it's time for your mother to bathe and rest . Why don't you two go down with your grandmother and let her rest. You can stay up late tonight to catch up with her." The girls kiss their mom and leave so she can rest. Aisling goes to get up when Astila stops her and picks her up to carry her to the bathroom.

"I know but I want to hold you. To make sure you are really here. Come let me wash your hair. I'm sure you have not washed it for days." Astila strips her clothes and sits her into the warm bath . Taking a glass he gently wets her hair and starts the process of washing it. Taking his time to enjoy the feel of her next to him.
