"Hey uncle and auntie welcome home. How was your visit with the family in West Virginia?" He asks as he gives Steve a hand with the luggage.
"Oh it was fine , we were able to help get Brayden settled and healing. How is your mother ? I hear Aisling has returned and doing well." Steve looks guarded at Yona . Yona knows that he was upset when Aisling was taken .
"Aisling truly is fine Uzil did not harm her. He even asked the father for forgiveness and returned. He came and asked my mother for forgiveness, he is Uktena's brother and is family. We have forgiven him though we do not totally trust him yet." Yona watches the older man's face to see how he is taking the development. Steve just nods and goes inside. HeJin is already fussing over Aisling and Remi talking about what to do the next day. The older couple excused themselves to go up and rest after the long drive from West Virginia. Aisling goes to stand and gets dizzy nearly falling. Astila catches her and carries her to the sofa. Yona calls Moll and asks her to come right away. Aisling tries to get back up but Astila insists she lays still. Alex comes in and looks at his aunt.
"Aunt Aisling I see that Morrigan returned Daksi to you. Though he will not be here till Easter I see he is already causing you problems. These kids are a pain do you women not know how to get pregnant one at a time must you all get pregnant at once . Mom is having two boys , you are having a boy and aunt Salali is having another girl . That is four more kids this year just how many of us do you need." Alex has his tablet and never even looked up from it. The four adults look at each other and begin to laugh. Alex rolls his eyes not understanding the adults. Remi hugs Aisling tight congratulating her since she had been longing to have another child. Though none of them knew Salali was pregnant they are happy. Astila looks at his wife with tenderness and love, he knew she had been worried that something was wrong before she had been taken. Moll arrives and hands Aisling a pregnancy test.
"I think you need this , I don't think anything else is wrong."Alex looks at Moll and rolls his eyes.
"I already told her that she is pregnant, Aunt your a little late. " Moll smacks Alex on the back of the head and tells him
"Salali will be here in a day or so we can make arrangements when she arrives. We already know she will not leave Tennessee. It's just a matter of whose house she will live in and a plan in place to keep watch over her." Yona tells them Remi and Aisling look at each other and smile.
"I don't think mother will need a babysitter any longer. She is pretty much back in her right mind. I know she still is sad over your Dads death but she is no longer blaming herself or thinking she could have stopped it. She takes total care of herself now and even takes care of those around her. I think that if Molimo is living with her she will be fine. We can make plans to come visit more often and FaceTime her daily. She has gotten quite attached to the children so it would be heartbreaking to take them away without a plan. I saw her and Crystal this morning, mother was teaching her how to weave a basket. The one thing Crystal wanted to learn this summer. " Remi tells her husband, for the first time since they were small their mother is like any other mother, she is present in their lives and loving every minute of it. Inola is happy for his nephews they finally have all they ever wanted in life. They have a relationship with their mother and have found the love they always craved. Moll takes her husbands hand and winks at him. They go out to the balcony to talk.
"Are you happy in West Virginia or would you like to come home?" Moll asks Inola . Inola wraps his arms around his wife. Sighing he tells her.
"I am happy wherever you are. West Virginia is not much different than here. With my nephews in West Virginia I have nothing here except a house. My home is with you and William. " Inola bends down and kisses his wife when he hears a car pull up. To his surprise it is Randy and Salali, he thought they had not left West Virginia yet. Salali gets out and waves to her uncle. Inola and Moll go back downstairs to greet them with the others. Randy stopped at the pizza place in town and picked up dinner for everyone. Inola calls Onacona and he brings the kids and Woya over to eat.
"My dear little sister I thought you said you would not be here for a few days?" Yona asks Salali. Salali giggles and tells her brother.
"We were already on the road when you called. I thought we could surprise you by arriving early. " Salali goes over and gives her mom a hug hoping she isn't to mad at her for just leaving last time. Woya hugs her daughter tightly enjoying having her close. She sees a little girl peeking out of behind Randy's back. Her memory is not great from before she had been completed released from her mind block as Woya calls it. Motioning to the little girl to come sit beside her,Woya holds her breath hoping the child will come . Randy takes her hand and walks her to her grandmother.
"Say hello to your grandmother, she has waited a long time to see you. Last time we were here she was ill but she is all better now." Randy tells his daughter.
"hello grandmother I am dove . " she looks up at Woya . Woya is speechless they named her after her. She carries her name. Smiling at the child a tear spills from Woya's eyes. Woya looks at Salali and tells her
"I am sorry for before, I know that being attached to an evil being is no excuse but I am sorry, I hope you will forgive me and let me make it up to you." Salali hugs her mom . Randy hearing Woya say this takes the time to make an announcement.
"I'm sure that Alex or William has already spilled the beans, but I still want to announce it. Salali and I are expecting." The room erupts into congratulations and hugs. When everyone has finished congratulating the couple Randy gets their attention again.
"I have a surprise for my beautiful wife and daughter. We will be moving here, my band is taking some time to work in Nashville and instead of buying another house we will be moving into Salali's home. I didn't want to say anything until I was sure of the arrangements. We will start recording next month so we can move here immediately. My parents have already made arrangements for the house in California to be packed up and our belongings will be here next week. They will rent it out so that if we ever need to move back we can still have a place to stay. I told them that is fine we just need our personal belongings since the house here is already furnished. So we no longer need to fly across country to bring Dove for her lessons." Randy hopes his wife will be happy. Before he can catch his breath from his announcement Salali is in his arms kissing him. Woya smiles at the couple, while Yona and Astila are relieved. They will not need to worry about their mom now that Salali is moving home. Alex and William watch the adults getting all mushy and both roll their eyes and Alex tell the other children.
"You know that we will have four more babies by the end next year. Hopefully they will be done for awhile and give us kids a break .do they not understand how much work goes into these new children. What if they all have powers or worse what if they are like Tanis and Daisy with slight intuition. I say we tell our parents no more children." With that statement Alex huffs off and goes to sit on the balcony.
