"I don't know, since it's for a club that Lilli is not a part of. I don't feel comfortable going without her. The girls said that since she isn't a part of our club that it would not be fair. I don't think i will go." Lotus sighs and moves towards the sink to hide her face from her sister.
"You know you are twins but you still are individuals. You can have interest and lives outside of each other." Moll tells Lotus.
Lotus shrugs and continues to clean the vegetables. Moll watches as Crystal sneaks up on William and puts an ice cube down his back sending him into a tizzy of screams and jumping. The room erupts into laughter while watching him. Lilli comes in carrying fresh flowers and takes Morrigan's hand.,
" Morrigan, hello are you staying for dinner ? We have fresh peach ice cream." Lilli smiles at her hoping she will stay. Morrigan smiles and walks into the kitchen.
"Hey everyone look who came for dinner. I bet she knew we had peach ice cream." Lilli tells them. The children crowd around Morrigan and welcome her. Aisling comes in and hugs Morrigan asking her.
"Is everything alright? Do you need us for something or is this a family visit?" Aisling knows that they are not able to just come for a visit without a purpose. Astila and Remi come in from the hospital. Astila finished work just as Remi was done with her check up. Morrigan asks them.
"Do you think you can invite Marshal over and call Yona ? I need to tell you about what has happened with Shiro. I don't want to repeat it over and over so here I am ." Remi nods ok and pulls out her phone.
"Marshal how about stoping by before the bar opens. We have a visitor who needs to see you." Agreeing to Remi's request Marshal turns the truck towards Aisling's house instead of the bar. The children finish setting the table as the women place the food on the table. Morrigan is excited because Maureen has made Irish soda bread. Once dinner is over they all gather in the living room. Remi calls Yona and has him on face time.
Asila looks at Lilli and tells her.
"well that works out perfectly because I was going to visit them tomorrow morning . You can come with me and get to visit with the boy. When Your Uncle Yona gets home we can decide about your visits to Japan. " Astila pats his daughter on the head letting her know he is proud of her. He then turns to Lotus and asks her.
"My darling Lotus may I have the honor of taking you to the father daughter dance? I know you did not want to go without your sister but she will be busy with Japanese lessons." Lotus smiles and hugs her father.
"Thank you Daddy, I would love for you to take me. Though I am a little jealous of Lilli for getting to go to Japan." Lotus takes her sisters hand and smiles now they both have things that they can do separate while still being close.
"I will talk to Hiroto tomorrow about having Lilli visit with Shiro when she is in Japan. That way they can do his lessons without to much suspicion arising. " Yona tells the family before he hangs up with Remi. That night Aisling snuggles close to Astila.
"Do you think the father has a plan for Lilli and Shiro? I hope she gets along with the one who took his place when he died . They may look alike but they may not be alike. I do not want her put into danger or to be hurt." Aisling tells Astila what is on her mind. Astila holds her close and kisses her forehead.
"Yona will be with her and I'm sure the father would not let her do this if she would be hurt. If he went to such lengths to grant their request I'm sure he has a pure heart. " Astila leans his head down and captured his wife's lips, taking her mind off her worries.
Early the next morning Astila wakes Lilli up for her go with him. She is excited to see a living Shiro and since she knows that her friend will be reborn. By helping this Shiro she will get to be close to her friend even if he will be more like a little brother. Astila watches his daughter as she races about to get ready.
Meanwhile the landscaping crew at the museum has begun to dig up the plants at mysteriously to them die. It's not long when they find a bag in the soil. Their work halts until the police arrive. Once the police arrive at the scene they call the coroner and the homicide team. Marshal gets a call from his friend on the force asking him what he was pouring on the plants.
" I was killing them, when my niece came to the museum on a field trip she said that there were a lot of dermestids there like they were eating something. So when I had to go to take a few things for an exhibit I saw them also . I figured that if I killed the plants then whatever the beetles were digging around in the soil to get to would be found. Once it was disposed of, then the flower beds could just be replaced. I wasn't sure what it was but there were a lot of bugs." Marshal didn't want to tell to much of a lie since he knew they would have him on camera pouring a liquid on the flower bed.
"So are you calling to tell me that you found something or to charge me with destruction of property?" Marshal asks him. His friend sighed.
"We found a boy who had been reported missing a few months ago. So thank you I guess for killing the plants. Next time you see something like that can you just call and tell me. That way we can look sooner. " the officer on the other end tells him.
"If I had called and told you that I thought that there was something buried in the garden, would you have believed me?" Marshal asks.
"I'm not sure but I know I would have been asking you a lot of questions ." The officer tells him.
"This way you found the body and you have my explanation. The other way you would have blew me off and the body could have not been found for who knows how long. Then you would not even have the bugs bodies to know if I was telling the truth or not. Since I did it this way you know the truth." Marshal tells him.
"Your story adds up so no worries but next time come to me first." They hang up and Marshal smiles thank goodness Brayden told him about those bugs and he made sure that there were plenty in the dirt.
