"I am Dr Astila People, my brother is Yona , the attorney working with your company. Hiroto told us about Shiro's illness and since I was coming to give a lecture, I thought I would stop by. " Astila smiles at Shiro.
"Thank you for stopping to see us. I am Jiro , Shiro's uncle my brother's wife has not been feeling well since having their daughter. So I came with Shiro. He will be going home any day now , so we will be heading back to Japan next week. " Jiro tells Astila. He looks at the girl about Shiro's age standing next to him. Astila smiles and introduces Lilli.
"this is my daughter Lilli, she will be spending time in Japan in the upcoming months. I wanted to bring her with me today in hopes that she and Shiro will become friends. That way when she goes to Japan she will already have a friend to hang out with. " Lilli smiles at Jiro hoping he will agree to let her visit with Shiro.
"That is a good idea , Shiro has been sheltered for most of his life and has very few friends. If they get along then Lilli can visit when she is in Japan. " Jiro tells them.
Shiro has not taken his eyes off Lilli since she walk in. He knows that she is the one who helped the original Shiro, looking at how pretty she is he can see why he wanted them to become friends.
"Lilli would you like to take a walk? I am allowed to go outside now and it's such a pretty day." Shiro asks Lilli. Lilli nods and the children walk out of the room. Astila excuses himself to go to the conference room .
"How are you feeling? I hope you are doing well ." Lilli asks.
"Oh I'm fine, as a Kitsune I don't get ill but when I took Shiro's form my body became as his. Over time I will gradually shift back to my own system. You know you will get to meet him again in eighteen months. Though he will be an infant and will not remember you." Shiro tells Lilli.
"I know I was told, I was relieved that things worked out. I will try to help you as much as I can. I hope you won't mind that I know about you two and that I was the one chosen to help you. " Lilli is a little sad that the two essentially gave up who they are but at least it was done to help his family.
" You know I am not really him nor am I human. At least not yet I'm not. I will try to be him in every way so that he will be proud of me. I have always just wanted to be loved and for the first time in my life I feel loved. " shiro bows his head to show his Sincerity. Lilli laughs and punches his arm.
"Lilli can you do me a favor, my mom is not sick in the traditional way. According to uncle she has melancholy ever since having my sister. I am worried that she will notice the difference between the real Shiro and myself. Is there a way to help her so that she doesn't know she is being helped?" Shiro asks Lilli. Lilli begins to laugh
"I have the perfect solution, my cousin's Alex and William have the gift of healing. They can heal any illness even ease a persons soul. All they have to do is touch her. I will make sure to bring them with me. As for her accepting you do not worry. Once she is better that will be no problem. When the father touched you , you truly became Shiro. No one will know and after a time you will think of yourself as Shiro. As long as you have a pure heart you will be fine and no one will know. I hope you will allow me to be your friend, I feel like we could become very close in time. " Lilli tells him as they walk back to his room. Shiro's Uncle is waiting for them when they get back.
"Shiro your uncle Hiroto is on FaceTime for you, he is with Lilly's uncle at the airport waiting for a flight. " Jiro tells shiro as he hands him the phone.
"Hey Shiro congratulations, I hear you are coming home in a few days. I'm excited to see you after you bring away for so long. Though I am jealous of you getting to meet Yona's family in person. I had dinner with them via FaceTime and they are a hoot. I have been begging Yona to bring a few of them with him next time so I can meet them." Hiroto tells his nephew. "Lilli, is your aunt Remi being good?" Yona asks her she starts to laugh
" You know that it is your fault that she has to behave. If you grownups would control yourselves we would not be in this position. I'm just telling you this because aunt Remi has been bossy, giving orders and grumbling because nothing is right. I hope you remembered to bring her favorite treats to sooth her. Even Alex has been keeping quiet and not saying much. Do you know how rare that is, peaceful yes but rare . What time is your flight home so that I can warn everyone to stay at my house. That way you and Aunt Remi can have some time. " Lilli blows her uncle a kiss. Yona starts to chuckle at her playful tone .
"I know , I will be home around three in the afternoon tomorrow. No one needs to stay at your house, Aunt Remi is to close to her due date, I am just happy the twin waited for me to arrive home before making an appearance. Love you Lilli I will see you in person tomorrow. " Yona tells his niece and hands the phone back to Hiroto. He waves before walking towards the departure gate. Jiro was surprised at how Lilli spoke to her elder but he seemed to not mind in fact he seemed to enjoy the banter with her. " , you know we can give you our address and if you don't mind a short drive. You can come visit at our house before you go home. We can go horseback riding, or if you prefer we can ride dirt bikes. You will get to meet Alex and William I'm sure they would live to meet you. Then there is my sister, we are twins though we do not look alike. " Lilli invited them to visit. Astila agrees and gives Jiro their address and tells him their door is always open for new friends. Lilli winks at Shiro as she leaves. Once they are gone Jiro looks at his nephew and asks.
