"Yes , thank you. Can you tell me is there a bakery close by?" Aisling asks the sales person.
" two blocks over, it's the best in town." The clerk tells her. Aisling takes her purchases and quickly leaves the store. She sees a man standing just outside the door as she leaves. He has a magnetic aura about him. His black eyes feel like they are piercing through her. Getting into the car she quickly drives off in the direction of the bakery. Aisling is unsettled by the feelings she had when the man looked at her. Shaking her head she tries to brush the feeling away. When she arrives at the bakery the same man is coming out of the store. Giving her the same look. Aisling wonders how he knew she was coming here, more importantly why is he following her. Aisling picks up the cake and leaves without even looking at the man. As she heads home she keeps watch in the rear view mirror to make sure she is not followed. When she arrives home Aisling looks around making sure that the man was no where near her home. She knows she is being g paranoid but she can't help it. It bothered her that he was in both stores and the unsettling look he gave her. Refusing to allow the encounter to put a damper on her husbands birthday Aisling puts a smile on her face and goes inside.
sending the girls upstairs to quickly wrap the presents while she gets dinner. Astila will be home soon and Uzil and his mother should be arriving any moment. They girls come racing down the steps when they hear a car arriving outside. It's their grandparents, Lilli is telling them about her recent trip to Japan.
"Now that I have been going for a few years now , I have become friends with some of the stewardesses. The trips do not seem as long anymore. You know that Shiro's coming here next week. I'm so excited he promises to take me to my homecoming dance. All of my friends are envious of me when he visits. " Lilli giggles to her grandmother. Aisling smiles as she sees how close the children have gotten to Astila's mother over the last few years. Getting everyone settled and dinner ready they are just waiting for the guest of honor.
Astila hears his name being paged just as he is leaving the hospital. There is a patient being brought in with chest pains. He gives Aisling a call.
"Astila is everything alright?" Aisling answers the phone quickly.
Aisling hangs up disappointed.
"go ahead and eat, Astila has an emergency patient coming in he doesn't know what time he will be home." Aisling tells everyone.
"hopefully the patient will be ok and he will be home soon." Woya tells her . The house is overflowing with family like always but tonight Aisling is feeling alone . Going up to the balcony Aisling sits waiting for her husband to call. Uzil noticed that Aisling seems sad and follows her out to the balcony.
"Aisling I know your disappointed because Astila is late. I feel that something else is bothering you. What is it." Uzil asks Aisling.
" I am not sure, I had a strange experience today when shopping for Astila's present. There was a man outside of the store that made me feel odd. Then he was at the bakery as well. I have been feeling slightly off since then. When he looked at me it was as if a magnet was pulling me . I know it sounds silly." Aisling tells Uzil.
"Hmm I'm not sure about that. There are those that can see straight into your soul when they look at you." Uzil wonders who it was that could shake her like this. Aisling sees a car pulling up to the house. As it gets closer she sees it's Astila. They go down to greet him.
Astila is tired but seeing his mother gives him energy. Smiling at everyone Astila hugs each of them thankful that they stayed till he got home. Just as he is about to kiss Aisling there is a knock at the door. Looking around at everyone there no one is missing even Sakai and Randy brought their children to celebrate with him. Going to the door he hesitates in answering. Opening it slowly he sees a man standing there. He doesn't know him but his dark eyes are mesmerizing. Uzil gasps when he sees who it is. Taking Woya's hand uzil pulls her to the back of the room. The man walks in and looks around until he finds Aisling.
"I have decided that you are going to be my bride. So unless you want me to level this house with your family inside it. You will come with me." Lucian tell Aisling.
"I am flattered but I am already married and have been for a very long time. I am not going with you and you will not harm my family. I am asking you to leave now." Aisling glares at him defiantly she is not going to give in to him.
"I do not think you understand who I am. You remind me of someone I used to know and since I could not have her I will have you. " Lucian tries to get into Aisling's mind but cannot. Astila's mind becomes clear the moment Lucian tried to get control of Aisling's mind. Astila walks over and puts his arms around Aisling.
"No one is taking my wife anywhere. I suggest you leave while I am asking nicely." Astila tells him. Lucian

"My darling do not worry, I am fine he has taken me to a large castle like place. It is my fault I saw him earlier today and he was following me . I must not have been careful enough in my preoccupation over everyone coming. I love you I will find a way." Aisling tells Astila via their connection but stops when she hears the door open . Lucian walks in smiling.
"I hope your room is satisfactory, I hope you are not going to give me to hard of time. I want to be joined with you quickly. I have looked for a very long time for someone like you . " Lucian does not like thinking of others feelings . It surprised him when he saw Aisling and his heart flipped. He has not had any reaction to a human except anger and disgust in thousands of years. "I have decided that you are going to be my bride. So unless you want me to level this house with your family inside it. You will come with me." Lucian tell Aisling.
