"Do you mind if we wait on our meal and go for a walk?" Lucusn holds out his hand to her. Aisling nods and walks past him with out touching him.
"if that us what you wish, I wanted to walk the grounds and see what herbs and vegetables you grew. " Aisling looks around at the meticulous gardens and sees several herbs she needs for the spell. Going over to the garden she kneels to take a closer look.
"may I pick a few of the herbs and flowers?" Aisling looks up at Lucian.
"of course you may have whatever you like." Lucian squats beside her looking at what she is picking. When Aisling has all that she needs she stands and turns towards the castle.
"Do you mind if we head back now to eat? I getting hungry." Aisling asks Lucian as she slowly walks.
"Of course we can." Lucian walks beside her until they reach the kitchen. While Aisling is in the kitchen Lucian decides to visit Elsie to see how she is fairing with her punishment. Standing outside of the chamber he hears sobs smiling he walks in . There lays Elsie battered and bloody crying. He sees that she is alone and even the worms have stopped eating.
"Looks like your punishment is about over. Are you ready to return to the fields?" Lucian asks Elsie. Elsie can't say anything she just nods . Lucian waves the shackles away and they are back in the fields.
" go now back to your normal duties , you will not be needed at the keep." Lucian tells Elsie before shimmering back to the dinning hall. Aisling is there waiting for him. Walking over he stands behind her and leans down kissing her cheek.
"I brought your grandmother back to the fields ." Aisling jumps at the touch of his lips on her cheek and his breath on her neck. Lucian felt a sharp pain in his nose as Aisling punches him. Knocking him back she stands and stomps on his foot as she storms out of the dinning hall without a word. By the time she gets back to her room Aisling is ready to explode with anger. Aisling looks out the window trying to calm down. Since she is connected to Astila Aisling is careful about what she thinks to herself. Deciding that she needs to hear his thoughts Aisling lays on the bed and closes her eyes thinking of him.
"Astila can you hear me, are you where we can communicate?" Aisling reaches out to him. Astila hears her thoughts the second she opens to him.
"I'm here, you seem angry what happened?" Astila asks.
"I'm sorry to hear that you had a run in with her. I know how that is a sore spot for you. Don't let it bother you and don't feel sorry for the her. If she is getting punished then that means she deserves it. I love you my darling wife and am missing you. I hope you can come home soon." Astila hears a knock on his office door.
"Work calls I have a few patients to see and then I will be home. Open our connection anytime I will answer." Astila smiles thinking about holding her soon.as he walks over to open his office door. Lucian is in the room next door looking at his face. Not sure if he should be angry or just surprised. No woman except one other has ever rejected his advances. None had ever dared to hit him before Aisling. Lucian knocks on the adjoining door.
"Aisling can we talk? I promise not to touch you." Lucian can't do anything to her by force or he will find himself in the torture chamber.
Aisling gets up and walks over to the door.
" I will meet you in the sitting room." Aisling is not opening her bedroom to him. She waits until she hears his footsteps pass her room before going down to the sitting room.
When she enters Lucian is sitting on the chair by the fireplace.
"I am not going to apologize for kissing you. I have wanted to do that since I first saw you. I will promise not to do it again without your permission." Lucian rubs his nose subtly letting her know it hurts.
"I am sorry for hitting you. When ever anyone touches me when I'm not expecting it . I hit automatically. If I had been facing you I would have just stopped you by telling you no. " Aisling bows her head in apology.
"Just how often have you had to hit someone?" Lucian is amused at the thought.
"A few times, I was attacked as a teenager and since then I don't like to be touched unless it's my husband." Aisling tells him hoping that he will respect the boundary she is placing. Lucian feels an anger rise up inside of him. He doesn't understand normally he doesn't mind violence but thinking of someone hurting this woman makes him angry.
"Who was it and I will make sure he is tortured ." Lucian glares at her expecting an answer. Aisling raises her head slightly and tells him.
"the man was a horrible person who was pure evil. I'm sure that the father sentenced him to severe punishment. He thought nothing of hurting others so I'm not sure how bad his punishment is but I can guess that he is in your worst one." Aisling thinks of Dean and hopes that she is right. After what he did to Remi he deserves whatever Lucian dreams up.
"So am I forgiven for my transgression?" Lucian asks.
"this time I will forgive you. " Aisling tells him and turns to leave.
"you know I have a large library you are welcome to read anything you like. If there is anything you want besides going home you just need to ask." Lucian tells Aisling before she leaves the room. Aisling turns to him and just below the window sill she sees a symbol .
"I will keep that in mind, if you will excuse me I would like to rest before preparing the evening meal. "Aisling goes out and heads back to her room. Aisling sets a circle and lights the candles in her room. Sitting in the center of the circle Aisling practices Astro projecting. She needs to perfect it incase anyone goes into her room when she sneaks home. She doesn't want to alert Lucian to soon of her ability to leave. Aisling holds the black Opal tightly as she casts the spell thinking of home. When Maureen walks into the kitchen there Aisling stands.
"Aisling is it safe for you to be here?" Maureen goes over to hug her but she isn't really there. Aisling opens up her mind connection with Maureen.
"I can do this only when meditating, I don't know if it will work when I'm home interacting with others. Since Lucian has the spell around the castle." Aisling tells Maureen.
"In the sitting room is the spell that will help with that. We put them all over in rooms you would be able to go. By the time you have collected them all you will be able to use all of your gifts as if there is no barrier. It will only be effective in your room. Do you really think you can convince him to let you come home without it coming to a fight?" Maureen asks Aisling before her image begins to fade.
"I hope so I don't want to expose the fact that our family has gifts. Once he knows I don't know what he will do. " Aisling waves as her alarm goes off alerting her that it's time to go down to prepare the evening meal.
The kitchen is silent when she enters and a new cook is there. Aisling doesn't say anything to anyone she just begins to work. The new cook gives her a haughty look and the dishwasher nudges her.
"Unless you want to be punished you need to respect and be nice to her. She is the mistress here and the master will not tolerate anyone saying a cross word to her. She is very kind and nice but be careful." The young dishwasher tells the cook. The cook saw Elsie when the master brought her back . Not wanting to be punished the cook is careful when Aisling is around.
