"I will go to my room now and give you some privacy." Aisling gathers her bookand walks to the door . Lucian is standing in front of the door not letting her pass.
"Lucian let me pass." Aisling whispers to him. Lucian chuckles and grabs her waist.
"My dear I can hear your heart racing. Why do you deny that you want my hands on you?" Lucian breath is on her neck. Aisling can feel his heat reaching out for her. Looking up at him Aisling glares into his eyes.
"I am not interested in you or your body. The only persons hands I want on me is my husbands. Now let me pass." Aisling waits for him to move so as to not touch him. Lucian smiles and tells her.
"I changed my mind your not allowed to leave this room until I say. So get prepared you will see many things this night." Lucian snaps his fingers and a group of young girls is there in the room naked. They try to remove Aisling's clothes but she begins to fight them. One by one they are beaten and knocked out laying on the floor in a heap. Looking at Lucian she spits blood from her mouth and tells him.
"Let me go back to my room now. " Aisling glares at Lucian waiting for him to move.Lucian grabs her by the hair tilting her head back . Aisling's heart begins to race with fear that he is going to hurt her. Lowering his head Lucian brings his lips to her neck. Aisling hold her breath praying he will not hurt her.
"get out of here while you still can. " Lucian growls into her ear. Aisling pushes him away and races to her room locking it. Leaning against the door she skids to the ground her whole body shaking with fear and anger. Closing her eyes she lets the tears flow down her cheeks as she sobs .
Aisling is inside the spell circle in front of her is a mirror. With the spell cast she will be able to see what Lucian's weaknesses are. Knowing she cannot kill him but she can weaken him enough to put back the balance in the world. That is what the father has asked her to do. Her plan is to get him to make a blood promise . Once made he will be bound by it for eternity. Using the hair he pulled when he was holding her earlier Aisling completes the spell. She hears him stop outside of her door making sure to not make a sound. She waits till he is gone before slipping down to the kitchen. There Lucian has a jar of loose tea that only he is allowed to drink. Aisling mixes the enchanted herbs with Lucian's tea. Once he drinks it he will not be able to cast magic. Quietly Aisling makes her way back upstairs to her room. Praying that Lucian will drink the tea tomorrow.
Lucian wakes with a the sun streaming on his face. Groaning he gets up staring at his reflection in the mirror. His eyes have not changed back yet , the are still red from the rage he released the night before. Sighing Lucian picks up a pair of sun glasses so that Aisling won't see his hideous eyes. When he enters the dinning hall his food is already set waiting for him to eat. The room is empty except the food. Walking to the kitchen Aisling is no where to be found.
"Have you seen the mistress this morning?" Lucian asks.
"She came only to fix the morning meal then she went into the library. She said she did not want to be disturbed." The young dishwasher tell Lucian. Nodding he turns to go find Aisling.
He finds her in the library reading a book looking at what she is reading makes him angry all over again.
"Where did you find that? I thought I destroyed all copies of the Bible in this place?" Lucian yells at Aisling.
looking up at him she shrugs and tells him.
"It was in the book case and since I am used to reading it everyday I began to read it. It matters not I have read it so many times every word is in my memory. It just brings me comfort to hold the book in my hands and read the words. " Aisling not wanting to be in the same room with him gets up and walks out as he starts to come closer to her. She runs to her room before he can say anything. Lucian punches the wall as he walks out of the library. The staff in the castle are very quiet in hopes to stay out of the masters way . None of them want to be sent to be tortured because of his foul mood. Lucian goes back to the dinning hall and ears his breakfast along with his tea. The maid was surprised when she cleared the dinning hall that he had consumed the entire pot of tea. Normally he only drinks one cup but today he drank all of it. Hoping that he maybe in a better mood now she goes back to the kitchen. Aisling hearing the maid tell the others that the master drank the entire pot of tea smiles at the fact. Hopefully he drank enough to weaken his powers so that she can get his promise from him..Aisling finishes prepping fir the noon meal when she hears Lucian bellow.
"Aisling where are you? Come here now" he yells . Aisling goes to find out what happened. When she enters the study Lucian is holding her locket in his hand.
"Where did you get that?" Aisling asks.
"the maid gave it to me . She found it in the kitchen when she went to get the morning meal. What is this and why is it here?" Lucian asks.
"It is my locket and I always have it with me. It has a photograph of my family in it. May I have it back please?" Aisling asks Lucian. He opens the locket and sees the picture inside it is the one from Astila's mothers wedding before her son was born. He closes it and hands it back.
"I am only giving it back because I feel bad for what happened last evening. I am not used to not getting my way." Lucian turns to stare out the window and Aisling leaves him to his thoughts. Lucian is not sure what is happening, his mind is a mess over the conflict in his heart. Now is one of those times he wished he has someone to talk to about what is going on. If he talks to one of his underlinings they will lose respect for him. There is no one he can talk to except the father and that cannot happen anymore. He wonders if Aisling's grand father would talk to him. Getting up he heads to the fields to find him. When he gets there he sees Aisling she has brought lunch for her grandfather. He decides to listen to what they are saying.
"Girl you should not be here. Your heart is good being here can corrupt you. You need to leave this place. There are men here who would hurt you without caring. Do not come here again not unless the master is with you for protection. I had a hard time when you were attacked as a teenager. I wanted to rip whoever did it apart. The only thing that stopped me was I heard your cousins beat that Dean to a pulp. " dee tells her. Lucian hearing that name brings back a memory. The man he tortured the night before. His name is Dean and when he first arrived all he could talk about was Aisling and Remi . Since he had not known her before he didn't pay much attention to his ramblings. Lucian decides to go visit with him again .
