The pile of medical examination reports in the hospital and the firsthand facts witnessed by Huo Yunchuan himself all indicated that An Wuyang’s body was indeed not robust.

Today’s incident of being engrossed in playing games, making it easy for the ‘parent’ to find him, wasn’t an extraordinary occurrence for a teenager. Huo Yunchuan wasn’t angry about An Wuyang playing games per se; what angered him was that An Wuyang, after leaving home for just two hours, managed to make himself look so miserable.

Now that An Wuyang was sitting on his lap, looking uncomfortable, his expression was listless, and his eyebrows were furrowed.

“If you’re tired, wash your face and take a nap,” Huo Yunchuan took a towel, wetted and wrung it out with considerable force.

“Um…” An Wuyang pretended to feel dizzy. At the moment, it seemed like he had no other choice but to snuggle against the other’s chest.

Huo Yunchuan was meticulous, gently wiping his face and hands.

Just when An Wuyang was getting comfortable enough to almost fall asleep, these gentle movements suddenly stopped. “Next time, whether you’ve done something wrong or encountered difficulties, you can’t cry.”

Huo Yunchuan pinched his chin, saying, “Just come to me, understand?”

“…” An Wuyang’s heart churned, wondering if the other wasn’t blaming him at all for such incidents.

But judging by the situation, it seemed so.

Since moving… No, since telling Huo Yunchuan about the pregnancy, his days had been comfortable. Basically, he enjoyed good food and drinks, going along with everything.

An Wuyang wasn’t foolish; he knew what was going on. Nodding in agreement, he obediently said, “Okay, I won’t do it again.”

Huo Yunchuan touched his forehead and the temples, “Is your head still dizzy?”

An Wuyang blinked, solemnly saying, “It seems not dizzy anymore. I’ll eat first and then sleep.”

“Hungry?” Huo Yunchuan sniffed his scent secretly, touched his forehead, then moved his hand to his stomach, thoroughly enjoying the weight of him sitting on top.

“Yes,” An Wuyang said, thinking that he, weighing over a hundred kilograms, couldn’t sit on Mr. Huo’s lap all the time. He stood up in a bit of a rush. “I’ll go check on Xiaoming ge (Little Ming).”

He wanted to leave, and Huo Yunchuan didn’t stop him. “Go ahead, close the door for me.”

An Wuyang seemed to think of something; his expression changed, and he sneakily turned to look. However, Huo Yunchuan caught his gaze.

The man lazily hooked his lips and smiled at him, “I’m going to take a bath, do you want to watch?”

“I don’t want to,” An Wuyang quickly said, then turned and walked away, closing the door for him.

The storm had ended just like this. Instead of being blamed, he was hinted that it was okay even if he did something wrong.

An Wuyang clicked his tongue, feeling that Mr. Huo would probably raise a little rascal when he became a father.

He thought to himself as he walked to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, and took out ice cubes to make a simple face mask, two of them.

“Xiaoming ge, here,” he walked to the side of Jiming ge (Little Ming) and handed him one.

Jiming ge, who had been covering his mouth after being beaten, looked a bit pitiful when he saw the ice pack. He took it and said, “You are considerate. It hurts so much… Yunchuan’s hands were not gentle at all.”

An Wuyang sympathetically looked at him and then sat down beside him, lifting his face to apply the ice pack to his eyes. “Oh, it’s so cold…”

Jiming ge glanced at the adjacent room with a complicated mood. Today, he saw how nervous Huo Yunchuan was about this little brother. Perhaps it wasn’t just because of the baby.

This was the conclusion after observing Huo Yunchuan taking care of An Wuyang and spending half a day with him. Honestly, no matter whether it was a junior or a friend, even if he encountered someone like An Wuyang, he would be a bit more caring.

“Sorry,” Jiming ge poked An Wuyang’s hand, pulled down the face of the young master, and apologized, “I really didn’t pay attention this time.”

It was only after being beaten by Huo Yunchuan that he realized he was indeed too careless and unreliable.

“No problem,” An Wuyang said, poking Jiming ge back and playfully tapping him on the face, “Anyway, Huo Yunchuan didn’t blame me.”

Jiming ge was stunned, then laughed, “Hahaha…” His laughter made his mouth ache. “So, this is how you secretly call him behind his back?” It was quite interesting.

However, today he finally figured it out. An Wuyang, in order to avoid scolding, cried and hugged him, but he wasn’t as honest as he seemed.

“Ah, I call him that to his face too,” An Wuyang experienced the feeling of being awesome and added, “Occasionally, when his mood is good.”

“Humph,” Jiming ge (Little Ming) said, “I don’t believe it.”

“Don’t believe what?” An Wuyang took off the ice pack, felt the less cold side, turned it over, and applied it again.

Huo Yunchuan passed through the living room, paused for a moment, and with a towel around his neck and wet hair, he said, “An Wuyang, where is your little blanket?”

He reminded the other person and then moved away with a stern face.

“Oh…” An Wuyang uncovered the ice pack, looked around for the little blanket, and covered his belly, lying on his back, blowing air conditioning.

Jiming ge was dumbfounded: “…So, this is how you two interact?” He thought it was getting funnier.

Damn, isn’t this treating me like a son…

An Wuyang was confused and didn’t know why Jiming ge was laughing.

He felt that the ice pack wasn’t very cold anymore, and his eyes weren’t as uncomfortable as before. “Xiaoming ge, do you still need the ice pack?” He hadn’t seen the injuries because Jiming ge had been covering them.

“I still need it,” Jiming ge said while covering it and not letting him see.

After a while, Zhang Ayi announced that the meal was ready, “Mr. Huo, Wuyang, Mr. Ji, wash your hands and come to eat!”

“Okay,” An Wuyang replied obediently and helped with the bowls and chopsticks.

Zhang Ayi, holding the dishes, was on high alert, but fortunately, she saw Huo Yunchuan, “Mr. Huo, come and take him out!”

An Wuyang was startled, then found Mr. Huo standing behind him, apparently ready to grab the bowl from his hand.

Of course, he obediently handed it over, saying, “Okay, you take it.”

Huo Yunchuan took the bowl, raised his head to let him go first, and instructed, “Walk slowly, sit properly when you get out, wait to eat, and don’t fidget.”

Jiming ge saw the scene where they interacted and laughed with his hand covering his mouth, “Oh my god…” This was the funniest pair he had ever seen. “Haha.”

Damn, treating me like a son…

An Wuyang was taken aback and then found Mr. Huo behind him, apparently ready to grab the bowl from his hand.

“Haha.”

The age difference brought about a strange scene, which was already funny enough. Coupled with the little baby in his belly, Huo Yunchuan’s days a year later should be quite amusing.

In fact, An Wuyang had a pretty cheerful personality. After having lunch with Jiming ge and spending two more hours playing games, his relationship with them was pretty good.

During dinner, Xiaoming ge was seated in front of Xiaoming ge behind, and Xiaoming ge was encouraged to eat more.

His world was simple, vastly different from the social circles of intrigue and scheming that Ji Mingyan and others lived in.

Initially, Huo Yunchuan was upset with his family and randomly chose a bar to drown his sorrows. It was a coincidence that he met An Wuyang, who was out with his classmates to celebrate the end of the college entrance exam.

A night of fate led to their subsequent entanglement.

Otherwise, these two unrelated people would never have come together.

An Wuyang felt sleepy after dinner, especially after today’s emotional outbursts and crying.

He sat on the sofa, watching Huo Yunchuan tidy up the table while eating fruit. Eventually, he dozed off.

Ji Mingyan stopped talking mid-sentence and looked towards his buddy, pointing at An Wuyang and silently mouthing, “Fell asleep.” His expressions were well-executed, showcasing the bruise on his lip prominently.

Huo Yunchuan came over and carried An Wuyang away. Although this little crybaby hadn’t taken a bath yet and had a bit of sweat on him, since he had fallen asleep, it was impossible to wake him up for a bath. They would have to wait for him to wake up naturally or wash up tomorrow morning.

Huo Yunchuan had grown accustomed to his own cleanliness habits being ineffective against An Wuyang. There was nothing surprising about it.

He silently stared at the sleeping face of the little angel for a moment, suddenly remembering that Ji Mingyan was still outside. He decided to let him wait a bit longer.

Ten minutes later, in the living room.

Ji Mingyan yawned, “I’ll go take a shower and rest too. I haven’t slept well these past few days due to project deadlines.” His heavy dark circles underlined his lack of sleep, explaining why he always wore sunglasses.

Huo Yunchuan nodded, realizing that Ji Mingyan had been working on a project: “I would’ve thought you were indulging in excessive pleasures.” He poured some water into his cup.

“You’re the one indulging in excessive pleasures…” Ji Mingyan retorted.

“Then, are you leaving?” Huo Yunchuan urged him.

“You’re really prioritizing romance over friendship,” Ji Mingyan teased and then stood up, “Alright, I’m really going now. Don’t let me delay your time with the little baby.”

Once the living room was empty, Huo Yunchuan drank the remaining half cup of water in three sips.

He glanced at the clock; it was around 9 p.m.

After he entered the bedroom, an hour and a half had passed. After taking another shower, Huo Yunchuan’s upper body, now bare, revealed well-defined muscles, exuding strength and vigor.

After intense exercise and the soothing effects of steam, Huo Yunchuan’s demeanor appeared languid.

He glanced at An Wuyang, who slept like a little pig, and his gaze softened. However, beyond that, it was more possessive and greedy.

“…” From the well-filled forehead to the end covered by the quilt, Huo Yunchuan’s nose traced the path, and he gently lifted a corner of the quilt, revealing a small area of fair skin.

Huo Yunchuan stared for a moment, then pulled the blanket up, covering it securely.

“Grow up quickly,” he kissed An Wuyang’s forehead and whispered almost inaudibly.

An Wuyang slept well that night. He woke up a bit earlier, before seven o’clock.

The room was quiet, only the sound of the air conditioner running. It felt warm behind him, seemingly Huo Yunchuan’s chest.

An Wuyang, still in a daze, realized that he had spent another night sticking close to him. The cool muscles felt really good.

He couldn’t remember what happened after eating fruit last night, but it wasn’t difficult to guess. He must have fallen asleep suddenly, and Mr. Huo carried him in.

An Wuyang didn’t want to get up or go back to sleep.

He found his somewhat old phone and was shocked to see three missed calls from his sister in the call log.

He couldn’t delay getting up any longer.

An Wuyang gently left Huo Yunchuan’s embrace, carefully got out of bed, and took his phone to the bathroom to return the call.

He felt that making three calls must be an urgent matter. If it was urgent, then waking up his sister before 7 a.m. wouldn’t be too annoying.

However, he was wrong. As soon as An Wuyang answered the call, his sister scolded him, “An Wuyang! Why did you call me so early? Do you have a grudge against me or something?”

“No, I…” The younger brother innocently replied, “Why did you call me yesterday?”

An Wuyang’s sister, An Wuyu, was also awake, sitting on the bed and scratching her head, “Yesterday, a handsome guy came to our house looking for you. Who was he?”

Upon hearing this description, An Wuyang immediately thought of Huo Yunchuan.

He was stunned.

Mr. Huo actually went to his house to find someone?

A sense of guilt that had settled overnight returned to An Wuyang’s heart, making him feel unusually uncomfortable.

An Wuyu was still waiting for his response, “Hello?”

“Oh, it’s a friend of mine, someone I know part-time,” An Wuyang replied, effortlessly weaving a small lie, his ears turning slightly red.

“Why did he come to our house looking for you? Doesn’t he have your phone number?” An Wuyu questioned, curious due to Huo Yunchuan’s handsome appearance, prompting a couple of extra questions.

“I have one, but I didn’t bring my phone, so I didn’t get your call yesterday,” An Wuyang explained. As long as it wasn’t a lie, he spoke clearly and without pressure.

His sister continued, “What does he do? Does he have a girlfriend?”

After some thought, An Wuyang said, “He doesn’t do much, just stays at home taking care of his son.”

An Wuyu sighed, “Okay, that’s fine then.” Although he was handsome, that alone couldn’t put food on the table, and besides, he already had a son. Her interest in him came and went quickly.

After finishing the call with his sister, An Wuyang quietly slipped back into the bedroom, tiptoed onto the bed, and tried to return to his previous position.

In his half-asleep state, Huo Yunchuan opened his eyes and witnessed a little scene of “offering oneself.”

He saw the little angel sneakily lifting his arm, placing it around his waist, and then letting out a discreet sigh of relief. “Okay,” he whispered.

Huo Yunchuan swallowed hard, his eyes turning red.

He’s just too cute…

He didn’t know that when An Wuyang was still a little three-headed figure, he was indeed especially cute. However, with busy parents, a hot-tempered sister, and seldom seeing his grandparents, there was no one to indulge him.

As for Huo Yunchuan, he seemed pretty good in his eyes.

So today, he officially labeled Mr. Huo as someone he could stick to. Feeling warm inside, he was super happy.

The author has something to say:

Really want to draw a three-headed little Yang Yang, with big, expressive eyes,
clutching toys and laughing happily, after all, no one to play with him (to torture).

Old Huo: Enough said, I want to hug my little treasure!
