CHAPTER START---
"MAGIC!" Majestic yells out, throwing his arms forward and forming a ring of prismatic energy which the large golden chain bounces off of.
Before their eyes it seemingly moves as if alive and whips back to the other side of the room at incredible speed, directly at Cellophane.
As he quickly fires a line of tape to the side and pulls himself toward it, avoiding the attack, Team Majestic gets a proper look at the fight.
Gold Chain was hovering in the middle of the room. There were golden glowing chains of different sizes forming on his clothes which were glowing in the same color, some of them were attached to the walls, floor, and ceiling to keep him aloft.
But most of them were thrashing about to strike Cellophane and Mudman.
The man himself was thin as they saw, and plain looking for a Japanese man, his grill of golden teeth showing every time he growled at the heroes.
"Ladies, circle him, he can't have eyes everywhere," Majestic says as his team enters the fight.
Genesis and Rule break off to one side, opposite Team Horizon, while Lizardy takes a few of Rule's shrunken objects and begins floating them about the battlefield on tiny pieces of herself.
"What took you so long?" Madman says as he avoids a few strikes and is promptly joined by Majestic.
"Didn't think that---" Majestic forms two prismatic rings below them, quickly launching them both into the air to avoid chains sweeping the floor. "---your team would get here so fast."
"We get that a lot," Cellophane says as he's hanging from the ceiling, but fires two lines of tape to grab them both, pulling them away from a trio of chains fired at them like spears.
As they get out of the way, Gold Chain feels something hit the back of his head and winces, only for foam to immediately begin forming around his head.
"What the---" his head is shrouded in golden energy before a few tiny chains manifest on it, scattering to foam to the floor below.
Looking around he sees the female heroes on the battlefield, and locks his sights on Genesis.
"You---" another capsule flies directly at his face, only for a chain to manifest on his body and bat it away. "Annoying bitch, trying to choke me!"
He flings his arms forward, and a collection of sharp pointed chains manifest on his back and arc above him, raining down on her like arrows.
"Technically I was trying to suffocate you," Genesis says as she fires directly into his attack, but this capsule shatters and forms a smoke screen that seems to linger in the air around the man.
She leaps to the side as all the chains begin spreading out, and forms a tungsten tower shield to crouch behind, holding her ground as vibrations ring through her arms.
The golden chains shatter against the shield and dissipate before they fall to the floor.
"He can't see through the smoke, his targeting was off," Mudman says. "So we know he can't sense us with these chains."
"We need a minute to regroup," Majestic says. "Rule, Lizardy, hit him with something to take his focus or immobilize him."
"Rule, Lizardy," Mudman says. "Just like we practiced in school, maneuver 9!"
"We'll take his focus!" Cellophane says as he rushes off.
Within this massive open room he was at a disadvantage, but he made up for it by attaching his tape to the chains flying about, bounding off them like tree branches in a forest.
Beside him Majestic made a prismatic ring below himself and flew over to Gold Chain as well.
"Annoying heroes!" Gold Chain yells as he sees them. "You ruined everything!" Some of the smaller chains moving about the room dissipate as he forms one massive chain from his chest, reminiscent of chains used to attach anchors to the most gargantuan of ships, each link being the size of a small car.
Majestic sees this attack incoming and makes a fist, punching forward against the air, "Magic!"
Ten prismatic rings form in front of him and quickly collapses into a single energy bolt, darting forward as a beam and colliding with the gold chain.
One of the massive links shatter, then another, then another, then the prismatic beam dissipates.
"Crap!" Majestic says as he sees the link within a few meters of him, knowing the attack he just did could punch through multiple buildings.
In the same moment he glances to his left, seeing Cellophane already having attached a line to the ceiling and vaulting over the massive chain, and decides to keep Gold Chain's attention on him.
"MAGIC SHIELD!" he screams at the top of his lungs, making ten concentric prismatic rings in front of himself to take the hit.
The massive chain links shatter against it and continue to shatter, even as Cellophane vaulted over it and began running along them.
Gold Chain obviously sees them and prepares to attack Cellophane simultaneously, but a smoke bomb capsule slams into the side of his face, shattering to block his view with a cloud.
Taking the chance Cellophane attaches two lines to the far wall, firing them through the smoke and past either side of Gold Chain's head, reeling himself in and kicking the villain directly in the face at full power.
As he plants both his feet into the villain's face, "ARGH!" he screams out as two gold chains tear through his feet, through the soles of his boots and out the top.
Gold Chain had manifested them at the moment of impact, along with a shroud of energy around his head so he could actually stay conscious after that hit.
"Cellophane!" Genesis yells, ready to fire another shot. She aims at the golden glow above his feet and fires. This time a hardened slug shatters each chain before a third slams into the energy protecting the villain's face, harmlessly bouncing off.
Her eyes open wide, realizing what she just did, what she instinctively did after seeing him hurt one of her dear friends, and being thankful that the villain could actually defend that attack instead of having a hole punched through his head.
Wasting no time Cellophane attaches his lines to the ceiling and pulls himself away, leaving a trail of blood from his feet as he rockets through the air.
As he sticks himself to the ceiling he notices Lizardy's right arm and head floating by themselves directly above Gold Chain, right beside Cellophane.
"You ok?" She asks, looking at his bleeding feet.
"I'll be fine," he tries and fails to hide his obvious pain.
"You're a bad liar," Lizardy says as her arm spins, throwing the small cube in her hand at Gold Chain, directly down at him.
'EXPAND!' Rule touches her fingers together and activates her Quirk, having touched this item once before she can activate her Quirk on it remotely a limited amount of times.
Suddenly the metal cube expands until it was 5m -15ft- wide, crashing into Gold Chain.
As the shadow is cast above him he looks up, just in time to stop his attack against Majestic's shield and create one of his own.
But the force the cube was thrown at and the material it comprises shatters his web of chains and slams into his, ready to crush him against the stone floor.
Luckily Mudman already softened the ground below him into water, so as he's slammed into it...
'SHRINK!' Rule deactivates her Quirk on the cube, allowing the softened ground to swallow the man as he's a few meters deep.
"Hardening it now," Mudman says as he deactivates his Quirk, sealing the man below.
"We need to take care of those wounds," Genesis says as Cellophane lands and sits on the floor.
"No time, that won't hold him for long," Cellophane says.
"He's right," Mudman says. "That guy is using trigger, he'll be out any second, we need a plan."
"Trigger, that explains why he's so much more powerful than we expected," Genesis says as she begins wrapping bandages around Cellophane's feet.
"He juiced up the moment he recognized us, guess he thought--- ahh!" Cellophane winces.
"Sorry."
"I guess he thought Horizon was gonna show up, lucky us," he sighs.
CRACK!
The stone floor begins to break apart, directly above Gold Chain.
"His Quirk, what is it?" Majestic asks
"Hard light constructs," Mudman says, "but he only makes those chains, different sizes and some things can be altered, but always chains."
"Do we have a plan?" Lizardy asks.
"Yeah---" the ground shakes as another crack forms. "Simon is on the way down, he finished downloading this gang's intel cache and treating his own wound, now he should have enough energy to shut this guy down."
CRACK!
A massive fissure forms in the stone floor as multiple gargantuan golden chains erupt from the ground.
"I thought trigger gets weaker over time," Majestic says while simultaneously forming energy rings below the students and moving them to safety.
"It should, but he's getting strong, this variation was purple," Cellophane says.
"Another unique formula," Lizardy grumbles.
They all continue to back away, with Cellophane being supported by Genesis, the adrenaline now dulling and taking his ability to stand with it.
"You know, I don't mind fighting villains," Lizardy says. "But stuff like this is why I'm a long range recon specialist..."
As the dust clears they see more and more massive chains forming, attached to thinner chains that expand the farther away they are from the villain's body.
"Dangerous things like this is why my wife also asked me to step back from being a frontline combatant," Majestic says as he takes a few steps forward.
"RAARGHHH!" Gold Chained pained cries echo through the room as the dust clears enough for them to see him, bleeding from his eyes that were glowing golden.
Majestic takes a deep breath and steels his will, glancing back at the students and giving them a thumbs up, "but don't worry, I was the #9 Pro Hero at one point, now I'll show you kids why..."

I wrinkled my smooth brain this time and actually got her name right, sorry she just shows up so rarely I forget about that. Also, I re-read the manga recently so that didn't help...the last two arcs were...oof.
