The participants of the festival were teamed up with people from their own class, for the most part. This is because the two classes do not trust each other due to what happened at UA before the festival.

The advantage of this is that Class 1B actively helps each other even if they don't get the first places so there is a high level of collaboration with each other.
While Class 1A are competing against themselves and Class 1B at the same time. The most serious aspect of this situation is that their Three Musketeers are actively seeking to destroy each other. This is a disadvantage as Class 1A is in "discord" and cannot think clearly. A great case of this "discord" is Sero's team where Jiro is the Head of the Cavalry, that is a big mistake due to the fact that Jiro does not possess great physical strength and can be easily knocked down, but if he were the Horse's Back he could cause great damage thanks to his strong area attacks and calm attitude.
The advantage Class 1A possesses lies in their fighting experience and the powerful Quirks users they possess.
I wonder who will win. Aizawa thought, looking at the start of the Cavalry Battle.
"START!!!" PresidentMic shouted announcing the start of a fierce battle between the participants. Immediately Lena ordered Shoji to create some eyes with his Quirk to watch his back.
"DEKU!!!"

As expected the bulk of the participants went after Midoriya and his team in an attempt to get the ten million point banana. The smarter ones waited for their prey to fall for the walking bait that was Midoriya to snatch the bandanas.
But Lena thought beyond that pattern of movement.
"Tokoyami!!!" Midoriya quickly shouted at Tokoyami when he saw Bakugo attack him through the air. Fortunately Dark Shadow was able to fend off Bakugo although the light from the explosion hurt them a bit.
"Shit!" said Bakugo as he fell from a great height only to be saved by his team who managed to time the fall correctly and catch him before he hit the ground. "Grr..."
"What are you a rabid dog?" suddenly Monoma appeared behind Bakugo removing his chamois quickly while looking at Bakugo with a mocking face on his face. "Like taking candy from a-"

Suddenly he couldn't feel any of the ribbons around his neck, checking his ribbons his fear had come true. He had been robbed.
"HOLY SHIT WHO THE FUCK STOLE FROM ME! I SWEAR YOU WILL REPENT FOR LIFE!" screamed Monoma at the top of her lungs while her eyes were bloodshot and she tried to look for the team that stole her bandanas but she couldn't see anything. "DAMN IT!"
"Good job Oxton" Shoji congratulated his teammate, thanks to Lena he had been able to steal two bandanas without the teams noticing.
"I told you to call me Lena. And it was a good win now just make sure no one comes near us and we will win easily, if something really dangerous happens like Todoroki's team or we get attacked by two teams at once let me know and I'll get us out of there, got it?" said Lena as she made herself comfortable on Shoji's back, there was enough room for two more people so Lena had plenty of room to stretch out.
"Yes" Shoji said nodding at Lena's words.
Lena's master plan was... attack, run and hide.
In short, they will attack the team with the most points other than the team that has the Ten Million chamois because the team that possesses the Ten Million chamois will automatically appear on the stadium screen revealing who is in possession of the chamois, which is a big no no for Lena's plan.
Then with Lena's Quirk they would run as far away as possible from the other participants once they had secured their place. And thanks to the fact that she is constantly covered with Shoji's skin which forms a kind of shell, they had an almost impregnable defense. The only weakness is Lena's Entropic Energy consumption with two people can only use two Accelerations and the Recoil would be much lower.
Let's say that Lena each time she uses an acceleration she spends 1 point of Entropic Energy, with a maximum of 3.
Then when there are some extra people the consumption is increased by 1.5 which only allows her to use two accelerations at most.
And in the case of Backtracking, it would be like returning the object B to its original place which would be A, but as there are two people spending the Entropic Energy it does not reach the point A and stays in the middle of point A and B.
Some might say that this strategy is cowardly, but what matters is to win.
Someday I'll stop being in second place. thought Lena as she let out a sigh, the bad thing about their strategy is that they would only be in the top 2.
"Do you see anything through your eyes?" asked Lena sensing that everything was too quiet.
"Teams fighting, but everything normal" Shoji reported as he stood still for a moment, apparently he needed to process all the information his eyes were transmitting to you which takes a while. "Oh."
"What's wrong?" asked Lena preparing to use another acceleration. But suddenly she felt everything shaking violently and that's when a name popped into her head.
Shit Kyo, I think you could disqualify half the teams with this... Thought Lena with annoyance.
"Don't worry, but handle it" Shoji said in an all calm as he took a big leap to dodge Kyoka's area attack, then ran off at high speed to find a safer place to be.
Truly an impregnable defense. Lena thought with a smile on her face.
