"~" Walking along the sidewalk of a street could be seen a tall brown haired girl dressed in a black shirt which had a lightning bolt print on it, she wore short blue jeans and white sneakers. The young girl was humming a song happily while her head was moving from side to side with the rhythm of the song, in her hates a small wireless headphones could be seen.
The girl was none other than our protagonist, Lena Oxton.
Just as the song ended and the next song on the list began to play, Lena looked around until not far away she saw a large modern house, when she saw the house she smiled and started walking towards it while putting her headphones away.
When she got to the door she knocked twice and waited for someone to open the door.
"Wait a minute!" A shout was heard from inside the house before footsteps sounded behind the door.
The door opened to reveal a short girl with short black hair dressed in a sleeveless yellow shirt with a black skull print and shorts. "Lena?"
"Hi sweetie!" greeted Lena as she gave Kyoka a hug, the latter was a little startled by the sudden hug but quickly relaxed as she hugged her back. "How have you been?"
"Eh, pretty good just looking for something to do at my place, I didn't expect to see you today" Kyoka replied with a smile as they separated from the hug with a giggle "By the way, don't jump on me again like that you almost gave me a heart attack."
"Hehe my bad" Lena replied as she stuck her tongue out at Kyoka, the latter only smiled slightly.
"So did you come to hang out or...?"
"Well I wanted to talk some things with you... and I forgot to text you, sorry" Explained Lena as she put a hand behind her head a little embarrassed for forgetting to send a simple message. "I thought maybe if I gave enough time we could go out somewhere, I have nothing to do at my house and I honestly don't feel like sleeping..."
"Well..." Kyoka started to play one of her Jacks as she thought. "I was going to go out and buy some stuff, so no problem."
"Fantastic!" Lena exclaimed with a supreme victory pose.
Kyoka spoke up interrupting Lena's victory pose. "But let me get ready, it won't take long I promise."
"Understood my queen!" Lena said as she placed a hand on her chest and made a knight-like bow. "May I come in while I wait?"
With a smirk Kyoka said. "Nope."
And with a slam Kyoka closed the door.

"..." Lena's brain went out like a candle as she tried to process what had happened.
Opening the door with a mocking look Kyoka motioned for her to come in. "Just kidding. Come in, but be warned my parents are at home watching a soccer game so don't make too much noise if you don't want my dad to kick you out of the house."
With a nod and goofy smile on her face, Lena walked into Kyoka's house carefully taking off her shoes. They both walked to the living room where there were two people watching a soccer game.
The first was a man with long wavy yellow hair and a muscular but pleasing to the eye build, his face seemed to have a sullen expression at all times. Next to him was a woman who Lena easily recognized as Kyoka's mother because of the similarities between them.
If Kyoka smiled more often I might mistake her for her mother unintentionally.... Thought Lena a surprised by the similarity between them, there weren't many differences apart from the obvious difference in hair and glasses. I guess it's like seeing Kyoka a few years older?
Feeling a thump in her side she saw Kyoka looking at her with a raised eyebrow as if warning her to shut that thought down.
Noticing the noise Kyoka's mother turned her head to see her daughter and a tall girl next to her. "Oh? Kyo you finally brought a friend home?"
That made her father's head turn who looked at them with curious but equally indifferent eyes. "And who are you?"
Ohh, so that's where Kyo's look and personality comes from... Thought Lena unconsciously at her father's attitude and his look identical to Kyo's. "My name is Oxton Lena, but please call me Lena, it's a little weird to be called Oxton... I'm the Kyo's girl- Guh!"
Lena felt a small vibration in her arm and instinctively looked at Kyo with a raised eyebrow, but the latter was giving her a dead look. "*Ahem* K-Kyo's classmate, nice to meet you!"
Suddenly Kyo's mother was right in front of her, now it was that she realized that the mother was quite a bit smaller than she originally thought. "Ohhh! So you're Lena" Kyo's mother was looking at Lena from every possible angle circling around her "Kyo has told us a lot about you."
"I-I see and what did she say?" asked Lena feeling a little uncomfortable by the mother's closeness, she looked sideways at Kyoka but the latter was just shaking her head as if saying: I can't do anything against her.
The one who responded was the father who was still sitting on the couch while watching a soccer game, he gave Lena a brief glance before going back to watching the game. "She said you were someone very charismatic and funny, she also said you were among the strongest in her class and that you helped her improve her usage in her Quirk-"
"Dad!" shouted Kyoka with a slight blush on her cheeks as her eyes looked accusingly at her father.
"What? That's what you told us both, it's good to be honest isn't it?" replied the father with a sneer identical to Kyoka's, which earned a chuckle from Lena. "By the way, my name is Kyotoku Jiro and this is my wife Mika Jiro, it's nice to meet you and thank you for helping Kyo during the USJ incident... it seems that a girl protected my daughter better than a school of Professional Heroes..."
Lena blinked at Kyotoku's final bitterness, before she could respond Kyoka grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the stairs. "Fine, I'll be in my room don't bother me!"
After forcibly pushing Lena into the room Kyoka muttered. "I can't believe I'm still so upset about that...*Haa*, anyway, what did you want to talk about?"
"Well several things actually, but now I have one main question" Lena spoke as she sat on Kyo's bed. "You told your parents that we're-"
"Nah" Kyoka interrupted as she put a hand on her cheek and shrugged her shoulders. "I haven't told them anything, at least for now."
Lena was surprised and with a jump she stood up as she gave Kyoka an incredulous look. "Eh?! Why?"
"You told your father?" instead of answering Kyoka threw another question at Lena as she gave her an amused look and folded her arms.
Lena deflated as she stammered looking for an excuse. "W-well, no, but..."
"There are two reasons I haven't told them" Kyo interrupted again as he averted her gaze from Lena. "First, my Parents are quite protective of me, especially my father as you could see, and being honest it's not like we've known each other for a long time so it might be a bit weird for them if I suddenly digested that you're my girlfriend."
Kyoka suddenly blushed and took her two Jacks to bump them together, making it quite obvious that she was a bit embarrassed. "And the other reason... well we never made it official did we?"
"Oh" Lena blurted out as if she had been enlightened by God, then walked over to Kyoka and placed her hands on her shoulders. Surprised by the sudden touch Kyoka looked straight into Lena's eyes which were looking at her more serious than ever. "Kyo, can I be your girlfriend?"
Kyoka was startled by the sudden words as her heart began to race, but she averted her gaze and her voice began to tremble a little. "I... are you really okay with someone like me... being your girlfriend? I'm not exactly special in any way and-"
"Kyoka" Lena called out to her, interrupting her and causing Kyoka to look into her eyes to see brown eyes gazing lovingly at her. "I love you. And I love you more than anyone else in the world, to me you are the most special person in my life. That's what I think and what I believe in. So what do you say?"
Kyoka gave Lena a tight hug accidentally pushing her towards the bed where they stayed hugging for a while. "Yes... you can be my girlfriend and I'll be yours too."
Both girls stayed embraced in a nice hug, just feeling how each other's hearts were beating at the same time, giving a strange but nice feeling.
After a few minutes Kyoka got up to sit on the bed releasing the embrace between her and her girlfriend. Lena also reluctantly let go of her embrace, sitting down next to Kyoka on the bed, the rocker girl avoiding eye contact with Lena as her Jacks moved erratically. Lena wind this drew her into a small embrace with one of her hands as she pressed a kiss to her forehead.
They were both caught in a warm silence.
A silence where only the person next to them existed.
A silence that for them, was worth more than a thousand words.

Well, ehh, how are you all, here's a chapter that should have come out about a week ago but I was too busy with exams and shit. Also I underestimated TOO MUCH what it means to write three novels at once.

I'm warning you once and for all that the Dragon Ball Fanfic will be postponed for a LONG time, at least until I finish this semester of college and go on vacation (I already have 3 chapters written and I know how I want the plot to progress but I just don't have the time to write it).
About this Fanfic, well as I said I'll upload chapters when I have time to write, besides this arc is going to be a big pain in the ass because I'm going to have to make up a lot of shit.
As I think I said in the previous chapter, my main focus of concentration is on my original novel.
I thought about getting a patreon to motivate me, but it turns out that my country is so shitty that there are no paypal or payoneer compatible cards.
So yeah, don't expect back to back chapters.
