'Let me sleep...' I mentally groaned as my mind slowly cleared, I didn't feel like getting out of bed for anything in the world. 'Is it that a beautiful and fair lady like me can't sleep in peace?'
"Uraraka's team seems to be in trouble..."

'What are you talking about... just shut up...' Suddenly I could feel someone approaching my position and staring at me. 'If you don't look at it it doesn't exist... If you don't look at it it doesn't exist...'
"I know you're awake..." Whispers a teasing but familiar voice in my ear.
Tickled by the person's warm breath in my ear, I opened my eyes slightly to see the culprit of interrupting my sleep.
"K-Kyo?"
The culprit turned out to be Kyoka who was looking at me with a smirk and a smug look.
That made all the laziness in my body instantly vanish as I lifted part of my body to look Kyoka in the eyes, or well, I tried but I felt a little embarrassed for one reason. "W-what are you doing here?"
"Pff..." Kyoka seemed to be holding back laughter as she looked at me with an amused smile. "We're in the middle of an exam remember, or well, I guess not anymore."
"Exam...?" I asked confused as I looked Kyoka in the eyes, before opening my eyes in surprise as I remembered everything that had happened a few minutes ago. "Shit!"
It was then when a figure surrounded by a murderous aura looked me straight in the eyes, it came from a little old lady who was smiling at me as if I was a crazed killer. "I see you have a lot of energy to insult and scream in an infirmary my dear..."
"...Sorry" I apologized in fear because of the murderous aura Recovery Girl was emitting, instead she just nodded and went back to her own thing.
Letting out a relieved sigh I looked around to realize that I was indeed in a large infirmary although it also looked like a monitoring room because of the countless cameras there, I also noticed that Midoriya was concentrating watching the different fights.
I turned my gaze to Kyoka who was sitting on a chair next to my bed. "You finished your test then?"
"Yeah, I finished it a few minutes ago, I was with Mic as my opponent and Koda as my partner. In the end we made it through the test, but I was really dizzy from using my Quirk too much and Mic's Quirk only made it worse so... I fainted shortly after finishing the test" Kyoka explained as she shrugged her shoulder, though there seemed to be more explanation than just how she bit her lip a little. "Anyway, I woke up a few minutes later thanks to Recovery Girl's help and found you here, sleeping peacefully, I didn't know you were a sleeping beauty."
I felt my face getting hot from Kyo's comment, I quickly shook my head to hide my nervousness, which didn't work because of Kyo's pleased smile.
"T-Thank you...?" That only made Kyo's smile get bigger and I got more nervous.
'She's beating me on my own turf!' I thought as I gave her a scowl, still feeling groggy from just getting up.
Knowing that I could no longer save my honor, I used my trump card.
Change the subject.
"So you managed to pass then didn't you?"
Kyoka seemed to know what she was doing but let it go as she nodded her head.
"Yup, well they haven't given out the rankings yet but as long as the written exam is okay. And how was your combat exam, I don't think you're the type to fall asleep in the middle of combat?"
"Ugh" My face scrunched up as I remembered Midnight's smug look.
"That bad?" Kyoka asked raising an eyebrow and letting out a hiss.
"Well... our opponent was Midnight and-"
I proceeded to explain to her the things that happened during our test, about how Sero got overconfident, about how Sero was incapacitated by Midnight's Quirk, about how that same Quirk was more trouble than it seemed and about the decision I made in the end.

Putting in a bit of effort, Lena looked at the sleeping Sero, the teasing Midnight, and finally, the exit.
Mentally gritting her teeth, Lena made a decision.

Using all her strength to stand up, she looked directly into Midnight's eyes. "A Hero... never abandons... his... companions..."
Midnight's eyes widened slightly in surprise to see that Lena could still stand.
"Heroes are always so tarcos eh?" Teased Midnight as she played with her whip. "Whew, that really turns me on..."
Ignoring Midnight's questionable comment, Lena took an unsteady breath before giving Midnight a wide grin. "A classic in Lena's Book 101: All or nothing baby!"
Lena ran over to where Sero was, quickly picked him up and taking advantage of the speed of the spin threw him towards the door with all her might.
Midnight obviously wasn't going to stand idly by and quickly reached Lena's side swinging her whip. The latter took a great leap backwards dodging the whip strike, but due to the gas she lost her balance and fell backwards watching as Midnight approached her with a predatory grin.
"Looks like it's over little Hero."
"Hehehehe" Lena laughed out loud causing Midnight to raise an eyebrow. "I have... this under control."
Suddenly Lena's gauntlets began to move and transform into a pair of familiar pistols. "Looks like you need a time out."
And without wasting any more time, Lena unleashed a flurry of tiny light blue bullets on Midnight.
The tiny pinpricks from each bullet made Midnight's body shudder as if a taser was constantly hitting her. Midnight collapsed to the ground having small spasms triggered by the discharges from Lena's pistols.
Lena put away her pistols seeing Midnight's state with a sleepy smile. "Ya...don't...you...are...so...haughty eh?"
Feeling her consciousness shutting down Lena looked at the exit door bitterly. At this distance it was impossible to go before she passed out from Midnight's gas.
Then...
Turning her gaze back to the paralyzed Midnight she remembered the other way to pass the test.

"Well that's what I remember..." I let out a sigh, my memories became a bit hazy at the end and I don't even remember if I managed to catch Midnight or not. "Looking back on it, I should have used the Accelerations to pick up in Sero's body and cross the finish line safely... though I also wanted to hit Midnight, I didn't know she could be so irritating..."
Kyoka gave me a thoughtful look as she took one of my hands. "So you don't know if you passed or not, I hope you did because going to that camp without you is going to be a pain..."
I nodded bitterly.
"By the way, wasn't it better to just leave Sero and go out yourself with your Quirk?" asked Kyoka tilting her head. "I mean, by the time you put him to sleep he had already failed the exam."
I averted my gaze as I half-heartedly answered. "Because a Hero never abandons his companion, least of all when he's in danger..."
Kyoka just stared at her for a moment before smiling slightly letting out a small laugh.
"Oi, what are you laughing about!"

Suddenly Kyoka rushed over and before I could react, she connected her lips with mine in a small kiss.
"You know, that's one of the things I love about you" Kyoka said with a giggle, I glanced sideways towards Midoriya and Recovery Girl but they were both more focused on fighting.
Meanwhile my brain my brain had gone blank, and all it could do was kiss Kyoka back which the little rocker girl gladly accepted.
After a few minutes, the couple joined Midoriya and Recovery Girl to watch the fights of the students and teachers.

When the time came to an end the students were taken back to UA where they would know their results.
Lena was dying of nervousness but Kyoka managed to calm her down by taking her hand gently. And she was not the only one who was dying of nervousness, Karishima, Ashido, Sero, Sato and Kaminari were in about the same state.
Aizawa entered the room looking at all the students with a tired look, but this time she had a smile on her face which made all the students very tense. "I congratulate you all did very well during the written test, there were no failures."
That drew a relieved sigh from the entire Class, but that relief was short-lived with Aizawa's next words. "...I can't say the same for the combat exam."
Aizawa pressed a small button that revealed a projector on the ceiling pointing towards the blackboard, where the results of the practical test could be seen.
In the end the results were.

They weren't at their best to say the least, fortunately Aizawa revealed that they could still go to camp but they wouldn't be able to enjoy the same luxuries as those who did pass.
Although it was not what they expected, they could not complain.
After that the long day at UA finally came to an end, with joys, sorrows and new determinations.
