Why was I acting like a shy maiden around Haru, peeking back at him? He's pulling his shirt over his head! Oh, I turn around quickly, my face felt like someone had poured hot water onto it.

Raising a hand to my mouth, I bite on my finger. What a complicated feeling, maybe, it was just because he was the first person, rather a man, that I had met here. I refused to believe that I've never dated a guy before, I had confidence in my looks.

That right! I was a beauty there was no way that I as a beauty would have remained single! At least, I hope not. Damn memories when would they come back! Pressing a hand to my face, I tried to calm the roller coaster of emotions that my mind was taking me on.

A light tap on my shoulder brought me back to reality. Glancing over my shoulder, I come face to face with Haru, his enchanting golden eyes were smoldering as they looked at me. I jump a little moving away from him, he gives me a questioning smile.

"Sorry, it's nothing you just surprised me is all," I reply rubbing a hand against the back of my head.

"Ah, sorry about that, have you run into the Hag yet?" He asks me.

"I haven't, its a bit strange I expected that I would meet her sooner rather than later considering that this is her maze," I reply raising a hand to my chin.

It was indeed a bit odd to not have met the main character in this little game. Considering I'd already taken out a key player in her court, yet she hadn't appeared. Wasn't it customary that if you defeated a miniboss then the main boss would appear?

Something was afoot in this maze, I found Haru but where was the trap, there should be something waiting for us, right? Raising my hand to my mouth, I bite down on my nail. A feeling of worry sinking into the pit of my stomach.

"She's probably our ticket out of here, we should try and find her," he says pulling at the jacket he'd put on. I nod my head in reply. "Shall we go then?" He asks reaching his hand out wrapping it around my shoulder.

"Buddy take your hands off my Mistress!" Envy barked out like a kicked puppy as he sauntered towards us with a knife gripped in his fist. A permanent frown seemed to be etched in his face, ever since I found Haru.

The whole puppy dog thing was rather cute actually. It made him seem less annoying imagining him as a dog rather than a human being. Granted, he wasn't really your typical human being now was he...

"Where did you find him?" Haru asks as he glances at Envy with a tentative gaze, that was full of surprise and a hint of disgust even. However, just as those emotions had passed through his eyes they vanished just as quickly. His face returning to a neutral look.

If I hadn't been looking at his face I wouldn't have been able to see anything in his eyes. It was still and calm as water, uninterrupted and unshakeable. He might not be as simple as I thought he was.

A glimmer of doubt appeared in my mind about him at that moment, but I pushed it to the back of my mind for a minute.

"That doesn't matter to you, just remember that I'll cut you into tiny pieces if you think you can just casually touch her like that," Envy snarled menacingly as he reached out a hand and yanked me towards him.

Just what did this bastard think he was doing yanking me about as if I was some object. Swinging a fist out, I hit him in the stomach. His hand releases my arm and I step back from him.

"What do you think you're doing?" I snap at him, his body bent over slightly, the sound of gasping fills the room.

Then the soft sound of laughter, shaking my head. I walk around him and look at the rest of the room. It was certainly filled with a great number of things. But I was more curious about whether or not there was a door or a way out of this treasure vault of a room. Because I knew that there wasn't any more to the cave that we'd fallen down.

There had to be a door somewhere around here!

"Alice, how did you get into here?" Haru asks all of the sudden, turning my head around I look at him.

"There was a door that I found, we'd fallen into an underground passage and followed it to the end and it lead us here. The door right over here," I say moving forward toward where I'd come up.

However, when I got to where the door should be it wasn't there. "What the hell," I mutter bending down towards the ground and pressing a hand down. It had to be here, how the hell did a door vanish!

"Envy! I told you to look after the entrance, just what happened to it?!" I yell, slamming my hand down into the ground. Although, this time I can't even make a dent on the ground.

"What are you talking about? It was still there a second ago," he saunters over a smirk on his face. Until he looks down and sees that there is no door, a trace of surprise flashes in his eyes.

"Its vanished," he replies with a goofy smile on his face. I was going to kill him, I swear! How could he pretend that everything was fine?

The door was gone, there were a couple things that could be happening to us right now. It was a trap that been set, we'd wandered into another game, or someone was pulling the strings on the vanishing act the door was playing at.

The question was which was the answer?
