Sensing that it was going to be attacked, the troll raised the war club in its hand and swung it down, sending goblins in front of it out of the way. Its began to speed up its pace. Its lumbering body began to move forward.

A looming sense of dread hung over my head, it was coming.

"Hurry," I grunt as I clashed swords with a goblin. Swinging my foot out I kick it in the chest, grabbing a knife I send it flying into its right eye. Persistent little monsters, they seemed to have no fear of dying.

No matter how many we cut down the others kept coming, however, the tide of goblins was slowing down. Except the troll was advancing towards us. My muscles were aching with the strain of constant battle. Sweat poured down my face and soaked my back, I could tell both Envy and Haru were also starting to feel the strain of the battle.

"Gush forth, my bloodied reaper," her voice broke the sound of battle. Her body moved, she jogged forward slightly before leaning back and throwing her Javelin forward. It was as it was splitting the air, it shot forward like a bullet.

She was no longer wearing armor, and her body fell to the ground slightly. Her face was twisted in a bit of pain and exhaustion.

"I'm sorry Alice, it looks like I'll have to return back to my space," she murmured before her body began to dematerialize.

[Witch of Blood has returned]

"Thank you," I say.

Turning my head to look back towards the bloody spear that was cutting the air as it rushed towards the troll. Sensing the massive amount of bloodlust coming its way, it reacted surprisingly well.

Raising its giant war club, it prepared to block the bloodied Javelin.

"Shit," I muttered I darted forward slicing through goblin after goblin. I couldn't let that beast block that hit.

"Envy, take out its leg!" I screamed getting stopped by like ten goblins, their yellowed eyes cruel as they stared at me. I began to hack at them.

"On it!" He replied he began to move forward, easily clamoring around the goblins and nearing the big boy. He materialized a sword, it was bathed in a green light.

He quickly slammed it into the ground, the glowing sword attracted the attention of all the monster's their eyes began to cloud and turn green.

All of the sudden, they began to kill each other as they headed towards the sword, like a surging way they all seemed to want the sword. Even the troll dropped his club down and turned towards the glowing green blade.

"What did you do?" I ask him, he appeared by my side and gave me a large twisted smile.

"I just sparked the Envy in them is all, it'll only last for a bit so we should figure out what to do about the troll. That Javelin will slow it down but it wouldn't kill it," he said with a serious tone. His eyes were hard as he stared at the goblins and troll.

The Javelin was also finding its way home, it seemed like this all took a long time but it's happened in the span of about ten seconds.

Without anything blocking it the Javelin easily slammed into the trolls hulking body, actually slamming it to the ground as it embedded itself into his left shoulder.

"Yes," I couldn't help but celebrate.

"Awrrrroooo!" It screamed again, there a strong note of pain and anger in its voice. It kicked its giant feet up in rage, sending rubble and goblins flying.

At this point, most of the goblin are dead or incapacitated, and the surging tide of their reinforcements had stopped.

The bloodied Javelin had effectively rendered its right arm useless, it's green skin had black lines running all along its arm. The lines began to erode the flesh off the bone of the troll.

"I'll finish it," Haru's voice rang out. His body darted forward his scythe moving in a dance as he also killed any remaining goblin in his path. Soon he reached the hulking troll that was trying to pull itself off the ground.

Haru quickly scaled it's body heading towards its head. Jumping the scythe tripled in size, like a grim reaper of death he cleaved it down.

It easily slides through the neck of the troll. The head of the monster rolled from its body, splashing and spraying its blood everywhere. Its face had a look of surprise and anguish on its face

Although I felt no pity for the monster, they brought it on themselves to attack us. One should always remember that if you attack someone they might retaliate, if you're going to attack someone it's best to know their true strength. Or to have overwhelming strength over them.

Otherwise, you might end up as the dead party in the end.

[Receving Skill Points and Currency from the Goblin Troll Variant]

[Envy has Leveled Up into Advance Rank Two]

[Player Has Leveled Up]

[Mastery of Apprentice Exorcist has reached 100%]

[Skill Upgrading into Shrine Maiden 0%]

Notification after Notification appeared, it looks like the endless surge of monsters had been helpful. I'd even leveled up again, plus I'd finally reached full mastery and upgraded my exorcist skill.

It looks like I'd gained a new powerful skill, however, it would only be effective on ghosts. I needed more physical or magical skills. I felt my inadequacy during the goblin fight. I'd relied on my pets. In the future, if someone thing happens to them, then I'd be easy prey.

"Mistress," Envy's voice screamed out.

I felt it this time, raising my sword. I cut apart the object that was flying towards me. Jumping backward I look and see an all to familiar bitch!

"The Hag," I growled out.

"The Final Boss appears," Envy chuckles as he steps in front of me.

"This is the ghost we're looking for, I dare say that she is quite powerful," Haru replied as he appeared next to me.

"We have to kill her!" I clenched my fist, I had to do it or Jade would die.
