Rolling my neck, I reach out a hand and Wit comes bouncing over out of the purpled eyed woman embrace. I'm a little surprised that she actually let the woman hold her like that.
"Rain, is that your name?" The purple-eyed woman asks as she straightens her back. The people around her moved closer and handed her a pipe which she gently placed into her mouth.
I paused for a moment, I had told that annoying man that my name was Rain because I figured if he came searching for me he wouldn't be able to find me. All I had to do was change the settings on my mask and I wouldn't look like this anymore.
"That's what you can call me," I decided to vaguely reply as I looked back and see Envy holding Melvyn severed arm as he moves towards me.
"Shouldn't we just have killed him, Mistress?" Envy asks me with a twisted smile on his face, the clown mask wasn't white anymore it was a deep black, I wonder what had caused that to change.
"I'd rather not if I killed him more rats would come scurrying to avenge him or to bother me," I tell him rolling my eyes at his sadistic thoughts. He just wanted to play with his dead corpse probably.
He gives me a wicked smile, as he tosses the arm away it turns into confetti and rains downs. Tilting his head he looks that Wit with a creepy smile as he waved his hand, she just looks at him with a bored look.
"Do you want me to kill her?" Envy asks turning his head to stare at the purple-eyed woman that was now sitting in a plush looking chair, as she looked at us with those cryptic eyes. As one of the people by her side handed her a drink.
"She's done to me nothing, leave her alone," I reply as I stare at her. I didn't have any desire to make an enemy out of this woman and she didn't seem to have any ill will towards me either.
"Have a seat," the woman this time spoke as she snapped her fingers and the people quickly moved and placed two chairs in front of us. I moved and sat down in one of the chairs, Wit quickly took the other and Envy moved behind me, placing his hands down on the back of the chair. Callista moved behind him and surrounded us, her head curled next to my chair.
"I've yet to introduce myself, but that was because we were rudely interrupted," she replied as she waved her hand and the people behind her all stood at attention behind her.
They all had no expression on their face, I focused on them and I saw a wedge appear above their head. [Demon Dolls Level 75] I almost choked when I saw that, they're way too strong. Turning my attention back towards the woman, I realized that she wasn't as simple as she seemed.
"I'm Kobayashi Rina, you can call me Rina," she handed the drink in her hand away and folded her hands. Her purple eyes seem to be staring into my soul as she looked at me.
"Pleasure," I say.
"Is this your first time here?" She continues, not offended by my short reply in the least.
"Indeed, I was recommended to come here by someone," I continued.
"That you were, if I may be so bold Ms.Rain, you've got a bracelet that belongs to a friend of mine. He left in a hurry, so I'm sure that he didn't properly explain all the details, so I've decided to come here in his stead," she smiled as she gestured to the bracelet of the snake eating itself on my left wrist.
I'd almost forgotten that it was there, I place a hand over the top of it. Looks like I couldn't be too careful with people around here. If she was telling the truth that meant that she was the person that Haru had met with last night.
"No need for the Miss, Rain is fine. Who exactly did you meet with last night?" I ask. She could always be lying to me, however, she could also be telling the truth. But I'd gone as far as to disguise myself I might as well make sure that she was who she said she was.
"You're a smart girl, aren't you? I quite like smart girls," she smiles as leans forward slightly. "I met with our narcoleptic exorcist friend," she says with a wink
Well, that indeed was one way to describe Haru. Plus I didn't get a bad feeling from this woman, I might as well trust that she is who she says she is. There was also no way that she could have to know that I'd been given this bracelet by someone unless she had seen it before.
"Then why have you come to visit me?" I ask her.
She leaned back into her chair and a dazzling smile takes over her face. "Well for one my dear friend never tends to help new players, most of the time he just kills them," a devilish look flashed across her features," and he'd asked me to lend you a hand, and even told me he'd owe me one. Of course, I love having people owe me favors... so I figured to come as see you in the flesh. And it was not a mistake, I want to just eat you up," she purrs as she looks at me seductively.
I felt a bit of a blush crawl up the back of my neck, Envy clicked his tongue in disdain behind me as he wraps an arm around my body. "She's not for you to touch," he sneers while looking at Rina.
Rolling my eyes, I just let him be.
"You're the one that unsealed his levels then?" I ask her.
"I indeed am the one, he'd gotten a pretty nasty little curse put on him," she reached her hand out and one of the [Demon Dolls] quickly stepped forward handing her a kiseru, which she took a pull on," I'm the best around for having curses removed. Plus I had a favor that I owed him," she responded letting the smoke drift out of her mouth.
"Now that I've re-payed the favor I owed, I figured it was only right to have him owe me one as well," she laughs as she kept smoking.
What an odd woman, she was indeed beautiful thought there is something wicked about her.
"Don't stare at me like that darling, I'll want to make you my woman," her enchanting voice broke me out of my thoughts. I didn't realize that I'd been staring. "How about I start by explaining this board to you and offering you a suggestion?" She laughs as she looks at me with a watery smile.
