When Xu Yue, Qingfeng High’s top student, becomes the target of the school’s notorious queen bee, Li Miao, she braces herself for another year of torment. But an unexpected slip (literally) changes everything for Li Miao, who wakes up with memories of a past life as a fan of the very story they're living. Suddenly determined to rewrite her villainous role, Li Miao vows to become Xu Yue's most unlikely ally and biggest supporter while trying to nudge her towards the school's golden boy, Zhang Wei. But fate, it seems, has a different plan, and Xu Yue wonders if the person she needs isn’t the hero of the story but the villainess herself.

Xu Yue: “Why is she acting so strange… maybe the doctors missed something when they checked her head.”
Later:
Li Miao with sparkles in her eyes: “Xu Yue and Zhang Wei are a match made in heaven! I’ll help bring them together so my fav can be happy.”
Xu Yue watching Li Miao: “She… she’s kind of cute.”
A bit after:
Li Miao: “Xu Yue, I promise to make you happy!”
Xu Yue: “You already make me happy.”
Finally:
Li Miao: “Wuwu, Xu Yue you bully! Why are you messing with me instead of cozying up to the male lead?!”
Xu Yue while firmly hugging Li Miao and preventing her escape: “Maomao I missed you~”
Everyone else, including Zhang Wei, eating popcorn: “Isn’t it obvious? She’s pursuing her wife.”
