clay is now finding his tent. he goes at the very last of tents as this is the tents that is not full.
all tents at the first row are all full.
this tents are really huge and fancy. just this tents can already hold about 5 families inside.
as clay look at these tents he couldn't help but think ' just the tents of the empire are already grandiose then how about the academy or the empire itself.' clay wondered and could not help but be excited.
as clay walk further and finally stop at the last tent. then clay goes inside and saw a skinny kid with a tattered clothes and a ragged appearance has a short black hair and a face that have some dirt in it.
as clay see this he just think that he will make his first friend today. clay walk to him and the kid just dumbfoundedly stare at him and thinking what will this noble guy do.
then clay is now in front of the kid and open his mouth. " Yo! my name is Clay Evergreen its a pleasure to meet you!" clay said while smiling and offering a handshake.
the boy then thought ' is he offering a handshake? why would a noble offer a handshake to a peasant like me and why did he approach me at the first place? i will just say my name as i do not know his background.'
" Nice to meet you my name is Adrian " Adrian said while he did not shake clay's hand and you can even hear in his tone that his putting his guard up.
after hearing his name clay said" So Adrian would you like to be my first friend?"
adrian nearly choke as he hear clay's words ' why would he want to be friends with me? a noble will not do something that shameless right? then what his goal?' adrian think it throughly but cannot come up with anything. Adrian is actually considered to be a genius in the same age as him because of his intelligence and he is the best candidate to be a wizard in all of his Orphanmates.

" if that so then i would be glad to be your first friend" adrian said then smile and shake clay's hand.
then clay's eyes lit up he thought that it will be really difficult to make him his friend because nobles and peasants are like fire and water in this world.' did acting innocently really convert to his change of attitude?' clay thought then said" Really? then please take care of me starting from now" clay said as he wildly shakes adrian's hand.
then after this they both chatted for a long time until the tent is now full.
clay wondered why are these kids are not even greeting each other and talking. clay want to make more friends because in his previous life his friends can only be counted in one hand. so he think of a way to make them his friends but not make them suspicious to him.
clay saw a lot of kids occasionally look at them so he shouted" hey guys!! night time is already approaching and i know that all of you are hungry so i want to eat this buns with you guys. if you are thinking why would i give it to you its because i think that i have a hella lot of them and its a waste if i dont eat them all so i decided to just share these Everlasting buns" clay said as a baskets of everlasting buns showed in front of him out of nowhere. well is it from his inventory.
when this happens a lot of kids are shock on how they can magically appeared.
the buns looks fluffy, tasty and just the smell of it is even enough to make their saliva drop. its texture is shiny. this buns are called everlasting buns because when you eat this your crave in this bun will be everlasting.
clay smiled" look there is no poison in it " clay said as he grab a bun and bite it in front of them. clay can even see them drooling. after he bite it there is no reaction and its look like they are not buying him so clay toss a bun to towards adrian and said" Here eat it" as adrian grab the bun he exclaimed" there is no poison in it and its really delicious i guarantee it"
after adrian said these words the kids then quickly rush and eat the buns. some kids even grabbed a lot of them already.
after all of this happens in the eyes of clay. he just smile.
after some time all of the kids have already their own shares of buns. some kids are thanking him and some kids are asking his name. clay are just happily talking to them one by one the other kids already started to be open to him as they see that clay is not a bad kid and have a friendly atmosphere in him.
as the time flies only the the very last tent at the last row is noisy. which is the tent of clay.
clay's tent is noisy he already make them get along well there is some groups talking and duo also.
clay occasionally taught them things that are not usually taught to kids at their age like tips on how to greatly shorten your chant and also history in magic.
the kids then spent the night time talking and familiarize to each other.
then the kids hear a chimes of a bell its the sign for dinner time they will now go outside to eat.
the people from the academy already set up the tables.
the kids then stop talking then started to goes outside. then a kid ask .
" hey do you want to eat?"
" i dont know. im already full because of clay's buns" the girl beside him said.
" likewise here" other kid said and some kids nodded.
" i dont care eating clay's buns forever" a girl in the crowd said. and others nodded again.
