When he walked out of the entrance of the college building without paying any attention to the crowd behind him and headed straight to the parking lot. By just looking at him anybody will tell that he is in a terribly bad mood, so no one dared to stop or talk to him. At the same time in the parking lot, Prof. Kumar was making his way towards the driving seat and open the front door when he lifted his head, he saw Yuvraj entering the parking lot.
"Yuvraj.." Prof. Kumar called him while closing the opened door and walking towards him.
Yuvraj looked at the person who just called out his name, he stopped in his tracks as Professor approach him.
"Good evening, Sir " he greeted the professor
and professor nodded his head with a smile.
"Good evening, Yuvraj. What took you so long to come? I thought we won't be able to see each other on the last day of your college ." asked the Professor while standing in front of him.
" Nothing much, Sir, just got stuck in a situation. Are you not attending the farewell party?" he asked with the same expressions.
"Yes, I won't be able to attend it, as I have to attend an important seminar at Tech Institue next week." replied the professor with utter seriousness looking at him.
" Yeah...of course, nothing is more important than that " he replied while thinking something about that Professor just mentioned.
"Anyways...let's talk about you!! And... Congratulation!!..." when he heard the professor congratulated him, a slight smiled appeared on his lips and he answered, "Thank you, Sir ". As he replied Professor's smile widened to his ears.
" Yuvraj...I think you are very cruel!!" the professor said with admiring eyes. Yuvraj slightly surprised to hear about the opinion of his teacher on him.
"Why do you think that way, I don't think I have done anything to hear that!!" he asked calmly.
" Not done anything...how could you say that, after scoring the perfect score in entrance exam while everyone struggle to even qualify the exam. Don't you think, it's very cruel to other students as well as to the Professors who set the question paper. " said the Professor with a wide smile.
Yuvraj let out a light chuckled as he heard a senseless joke and replied: " I just answered what was asked, that is the whole purpose of the examination.....right!! ".
Prof. Kumar sighed as he, though it's useless to argue with him over this " Yes..you are right but there are some one or two questions in a paper which were not expected to be answered, as those questions are given by the experts in those domains to compete and show their knowledge among themselves. "
"Oh...really that's not fair," he said casually.
"Don't act like you don't know... I know you did it on purpose...you did, right!!? "
" So you think I am cruel and wrong....!! , as they can do whatever they like and every year they act like they are doing a favor for students by announcing the highest score showing their worried face as no one can score the full marks," he answered with a hint of mockery in eye's and sounded a little annoyed.
Prof. Kumar caught his annoyed voice and try to change the topic by asking him " Have you collected your mark sheet..? Ah... and where is Manya? I haven't seen her today, she didn't come with you ?" as Yuvraj heard him, it's like he remembered something important and his solemn expression changed to worried.
"Yeah... I collected mine. she is not feeling well, so I want to collect her mark sheet as well as, but I think I have to bring her, next time as they required everybody to personally collect their own ."
"Anything serious!!? "asked Prof. Kumar by seeing his worried look.
" No, nothing serious"
"hmm..that's good. I know there are some rules and regulations to be followed. Congratulate her on my behalf !!" Yuvraj nodded his head.
"Ok... then, be in touch and don't hesitate to ask for anything. All the best!!.. for your advance exam next month ." Professor smile while raising his hand for a handshake.
"Sure" he replied while shaking his hand with Professor and added while taking back his hand "Thank you for your wishes".
As their conversations ended, Yuvraj took his bike and headed back home.
At Sharma Mansion:
Naina returned at the mansion from a long flight journey, feeling tired and exhausted she laid on the couch in living room, She returned back to give a surprise to her little brother and to congratulate him personally on his success.
"Yuvi....." she shouted from the living room looking towards his bedrooms direction.
As she cried a little loud again, one of the maids came rushing towards the hall from the back side lawn.
"Good evening, Madam." she greeted her.
"Good evening, Where's Yuvi ?" Naina asked while adjusting herself on the couch.
"Madam, No one is at home, as the Young master is gone to the College and Manya madam just left the mansion." As Naina was going to ask again. In the meantime, entrance door of the mansion pushed open and Yuvraj walked in with hurried steps and mark sheet in his one hand.
