Manya saw an ice-cream vendor passing by at a distance , she exclaims with excitement, "Chinna... Icecream!"
Yuvraj turns to sneak a look through the window on his side.
He glanced at Manya before pulling the car door and said, "Okay, but don't catch a cold!" Manya nodded her head vigorously with a huge smile.
Yuvraj asked for a choco-chip ice cream for Manya and black currant for himself. He offered atwo thousand rupee note for the two ice creams worth of eighty rupees only.
The ice cream vendor asked him for a hundred rupees note as he doesn't have the change to return. Yuvraj told him to keep the change but the ice cream vendor was an honest man, he refused his offer.
Manya was eagerly waiting for Yuvraj when she noticed he was negotiating over something with the vendor. She stepped out and approached him.
Manya asked Yuvraj in a confused manner, "What happened, Yuvi!?"
Yuvraj and the vendor gazed towards Manya, she saw a disappointing look in Yuvraj eyes as he explained the whole situation.
Manya laughed at Yuvraj as he wanted to pay hundred times the price of the ice cream. She turns to the vendor and she told the vendor to give the ice creams to Yuvraj as she'll pay for them. Manya returned to the car for her purse and she paid for the ice creams.
Yuvraj had a dull look in his eyes as Manya sat on the bonnet of the car and Yuvraj leaned beside her facing the beautiful lake.
Manya saw Yuvraj is upset, she said in a coaxing manner, "Yuvi...We can't do the things as what we want! There are certain people who don't value money but follow their ethics. It's very unusual, we should be glad to meet the honest person like the vendor."
Yuvraj sighed as he looked up to the beautiful lake, "I know...Chinni, I was willing to give him that money. It's the summer season but he doesn't have enough money to pay back the change. It's midnight he should have earned that much money." he said in a downhearted tone.
Manya was in a daze as she stared at Yuvraj she knows that he doesn't care about money but he knows the worth of money. He can earn as much as he wants but he always does it in the right way by working hard. She knows he has a kind and compassionate heart.
Manya smiled heartily and said in her soft voice, "I haven't thought about that, you wanted to help him."
Yuvraj turns to look in her eyes which were full of admiration and warmth, unwaveringly staring back at him. He lost himself in those admiring and beautiful brown eyes for a while, he felt like melting with that warmth.
Yuvraj smiled pleasingly before he said, "Chinni...It's melting."
Manya looked at him confusingly, trying to understand his words.
Yuvraj let out a light chuckle while adoring her cute expressions, he raised his eyebrows tilting his head while indicating her to look at her hand and said, "Ice cream."
Manya saw her ice cream was melting and it was flowing through the back of her hand pouring drop by drop on the ground.
Yuvraj and Manya giggled together as it was same with his ice cream.
Manya hand out her ice cream to Yuvraj as she pulled out the tissues from her purse. She wiped her hands clean and took the ice creams from him. Yuvraj cleaned his hands before they enjoyed their half melted ice cream.
Yuvraj lightly touches Manya's cheek and she screams with the cold sensation from his touch. Yuvraj laughed seeing how delicate she is!
Afterward, Yuvraj asked Manya, "Walk?" and Manya nodded her head as they walk together along the lakeside.
Manya was tired just walking half the distance.
