Manya was tired just walking half the distance.
At noon, when Manya's thought was a mess she walked back and forth for about three hours until Yuvraj messaged her. She exerted herself mentally and physically.
Manya tried to hide the pain in her lower legs from Yuvraj, she knew if he found out he'll be very disappointed by her doings. Manya asked him to rest for a while, as, it was also a long and hectic day for him.
Yuvraj and Manya laid on the grass gazing at the starry sky.
Manya's head was resting on Yuvraj's left shoulder, as his left arm was lying on the grass. He doesn't want her bare shoulders to feel the cold grass.
While Yuvraj's right hand supporting his head, they were talking about astronomy: scientific facts about stars and galaxies.
Manya was pointing to the stars in the sky with her right hand while her left hand was playing with the strap of Yuvraj's wrist watch.
Both of them were sharing their knowledge with each other.
Yuvraj was telling her, how astronomers use mathematics in astronomy. That information was too complicated for her but Yuvraj's way of explanation made it less complicated for her to understand.
And Manya was sharing the wild ideas of her imaginations with Yuvraj.
They were well accustomed to each other's different perspectives. There was a huge difference between their interests but they always found something interesting in-between their differences.
After talking so much Manya felt exhausted she closed her eyes and stopped playing with his wristwatch.
Unconsciously, she held his hand while slowly her fingers intertwining with Yuvraj's fingers.
Yuvraj gripped her hand while staring at the starry sky and the whole sky was summoned in his black eyes glittering brightly.
He wasn't sleepy at all while thinking about every night they spend together like this, talking to each other until Manya dozes off.
Unknown to Yuvraj, a pleasing smile appeared on his lips. He would not be troubled to have a sleepless night like this for the rest of his life.
This night was sleepless not for only Yuvraj but for many people in the city.
The difference is only Yuvraj wished for the night to never end while others wished for the night end rapidly.
But, time doesn't change its pace for anyone, nor anyone has the ability to change. Every human is powerless, in front of God's will.
Manya woke up after a nap and thought 'I slept again!', she sat up hurriedly and said, "Why did you let me sleep?" she questioned in a sleepy tone and turn to look at him.
Gazing at his starry black eyes, Manya felt like a dream she saw something magical so she rubbed her eyes, again and again.
Yuvraj sighed and slowly sat up and said, "It's fine! Let's go home?" and he got up extending his left arm towards Manya.
After getting into the car, Manya pressed the button to lower the car seat. She closed her eyes to sleep again.
While buckling his seat belt Yuvraj eyes feel on Manya' feet which were a little swollen. He frowned slightly.
Yuvraj asked her while analyzing her legs, if she is injured anywhere, "Chinni, What did you do today?"
Manya murmured in a sleepy voice with closed eyes, "Nothing much! shopping...eating, thinking...again eating...again thinking..." there was sadness in her voice as her mind was recalling everything she did today.
He softly and slowly asked her, "What made you think so much? Wait!... you walked while thinking! Am I Right!?" he looked at her face as he was well aware of her thinking habits.
Manya abruptly opened her eyes as she realized he figured out, there was no way of hiding anything from him. She nodded her head and said while complaining, "YOU! made me think so much! Why didn't you said goodbye, yesterday? You intentionally ignored me!" said Manya.
Hitting the Bullseye!! either Yuvraj can't hide anything from Manya.
Yuvraj's jaw tightened to suppress his anger, and said, "You walked until I text you?" He squeezed the word out between his teeth.
Yuvraj ignored Manya because he wanted her to realize the pain he felt when she didn't talk to him and cried alone for a whole day. After that, she started the mute game. Only to make her realize the pain, he did that, Yuvraj didn't mean to hurt her.
Yuvraj clearly knows that Manya can hurt herself for him.
He did a silly mistake even after knowing how much she values his words. Then, how is it possible that she'll miss his actions.
Manya sighed before she pressed the button to elevate her seat, she said in a pacifying tone, "Chinna, I'm sorry! extremely sorry!! I made you suffer that day. Now, I totally, understand how you felt but trust me, it wasn't intentionally. I was too dumb...to think rationally."
As Yuvraj heard Manya he leaned forward and deeply kissed her forehead. Manya's eyes widened as he kissed her.
For Manya, it was the first time Yuvraj kissed her as he was always on the receiving end of her kisses.
What!! She didn't know is that Yuvraj had kissed her several times in her sleep.
Yuvraj hugged her and said, "I'm sorry! I should have told you directly. I choose the wrong way."
"It's fine, as long as, I get to feel every pain you felt!" Manya said earnestly while smiling.
