Natalie stroked her stomach which is growling due to hunger.
It's already eight in the evening but Jian is not home yet.
She's starving but she doesn't know how to cook!
This is her first time to be left alone at home.
Natalie opened the fridge hoping to find a food to be heated on the microwave but she find nothing!
Natalie sigh!
But her eyes caught something!
There are eggs in the fridge!
Yes! Eggs!
I think I can cook fried egg!
With that thought, Natalie pick up two eggs and closed the fridge again.
She tried to remember how her nanny cooked fried eggs.
"Get the pan, put it on the stove, and turn on the fire."
Natalie mumbled while doing it one by one.
She waited for the pan to heat before she pour a little bit amount of oil.
But she suddenly feel like urinating, so she left the kitchen and went to the toilet in her bedroom without turning off the fire.
She never expected that it would cause a disaster!
When she got out from the toilet, Natalie smell something like burning!
"What's that smell?"
She sniffed a few times and knitted her brows, "
It smells like----"
Natalie gasped and her eyes went wide open!
"No!"
She instantly run to the kitchen and she was shocked to see the pan and the gas range burning!
Natalie's mind went blank!
Her face turned pale and her body trembled!
She felt like her legs lost its strenght and it become weak!

Jian parked his car in his garrage and turned off the engine before he get out from his car.
He opened the front door and entered the house, but he was startled to see the thick smoke coming from the kitchen!
"Fire! Help!"
It was Nana!
Jian instantly snapped back to his senses and took the fire extinguisher and run to the kitchen!
Fortunately, the fire was not yet too big , so he was able to extinguished it quickly!
"Ya!" Jian throw the fire extinguisher on the floor which created a loud sound !
"Are you going to burn the entire house?!" Jian yelled to Natalie.
He was so angry!
If he did not arrived on time, his house might have been burn into ashes!
Natalie was so frightened!
She slumped on the floor when Jian yelled!
Yes! She knew! This is her fault!
But it was unintentional!
"Sobs, sobs, sobs."
Natalie cry and she covered her face with her palm.
Jian heard Natalie's sobs.
He looked at her and saw her frightened expression!
Jian's anger slowly faded away when he saw the frightened Natalie!
Just then, he realized what he did!
He was angry and he yelled at Natalie!
Jian regretted for being so rude to her.
He can see how scared she is!
She's even trembling!
Jian's expression softened and he slowly walked closer to Natalie and kneeled down one of his knee.
Natalie slowly looked up to Jian, "I'm...sorry...It...It was not intentional." She said in between her sobs.
Jian took a deep breath, he hate to see her like this.
He want her to feel better, so he slowly pulled her into his embrace and stroked her back slowly.
"I'm so sorry..." Natalie said again.
"Ssshhh... It's alright." Jian replied in a faint voice.
This girl has an impact on me, I hate to see her crying, I hate to see her being scared, and I hate to see her being hurt!
"Please don't get angry with me..." Natalie said in a pitiful voice.
"Ssshhh..."
"I... I am so scared...(sobs, sobs)"
"Don't worry, I am here, you're safe now." Jian continued to console Natalie.
Natalie let Jian embraced her.
She doesn't know why, but she felt safe whenever he is around.
Jian waited until Natalie calmed down before he asked her a questions.

"So, tell me what happened." Jian said while wiping Natalie's face.
"I...I was starving , so I decided to cook food to eat." Natalie started to tell Jian.

"I...I don't know how it happened. I just left for a while and when I get back, the gas range is already burning!" Natalie started to cry again. "Honestly, I don't know how to cook." She added. "But I was starving so I don't have a choice but to cook food to eat. I never expected that it would lead into a disaster!" She said.
"Why you did not told me that you don't know how to cook?" Jian asked.
"Because I was afraid that you might kick me out of the house." Natalie replied.
"I already told you that I wouldn't kick you out in this house." He said and sigh.
"I'm sorry..." Natalie apologized again.
"I can't leave you alone again." Jian said. " The taping for my new TV series will start next week, you should come with me to make sure that nothing bad will happen to you." Jian said. He is afraid that something worst might happen if he will leave her alone in the house.

Henry nodded his head. "I want an confirmation as soon as possible. She's been gone for almost three months now. I want to find her already and bring her back home.
