"Good evening auntie." Nana greeted Mrs. Hong. And then she turn to Jian and greeted him
"Good evening Mr. Hong."
"Ennn..." Jian nodded his head, he acted natural but deep inside him, he wanted to embrace Nana tightly!
"Nana, you can sit beside Jian." Mrs. Hong said.
Nana look at Jian, but her body stiffed when Jian smiled to him.
He pulled the chair and let her sit down.
He was like a gentlemen in a fairytale who would serve his princess!
"Thank you." Nana said.
Jian sit beside Nana, he took a foods with his chopstick and put it on Nana's plate.
"My mom cook the most delicious foods." Jian said to Nana.
"Yeah! I feel hungry just by smelling the foods!" Nana replied.
Mrs. Hong observe Jian and Nana.
Jian is obviously happy!
He can't stop smiling while he keep on glancing Nana.
"Mom, why are you not eating?" Carrie asked her mom.
"Oh!" Mrs. Hong turn her gaze to Carrie.
"I'm just happy to see Jian and Nana together."
I'm happy to see your brother's smile!
The smile that I have not seen for a long time!
Mrs. Hong secretly added.
The four of them continued to eat their dinner.
After the dinner, Nana stayed for a little more time before she decided to bid her goodbye.
"Son, could you send Nana home? " Mrs. Hong asked Jian.
"Oh! No need Auntie, I will just call for a cab---"
"Wait for me here, I'll just fetch my coat ." Jian interrupted Nana.
Mrs. Hong and Carrie look at each other with a smile on their faces.
After a while, Jian get back to the living room with a coat in his hand.
"Let's go!" He said and he held Nana's hand as they walk towards the door.
Nana was stunned for a moment!
She felt like she was electrocuted when Jian held her hand!
She tried to pull her hand but Jian's grip tightened!
Jian opened the passenger's seat for Nana and Let her sit down before he closed the door amd headed to the the driver's seat.
"He buckled up Nana's seat belt before he do his own and started the engine.
"Thanks for coming for dinner." Jian said to Nana when he started to drive.
"Uh, " it's the only word that came out from Nana's mouth.
"How... how are you feeling? I mean... you have just been discharged from the hospital, you should not be driving right now." Nana said.
Jian smiled. "I'm feeling good now, thanks to my blood donor, she might be strong, that's why I recovered fast!" Jian replied .
"Cough! Cough!)
Nana suddenly choke with her own saliva when Jian mentioned the word "blood donor."
After a while, she cleared her throat and apologized .
"I'm sorry, My throat suddenly felt itchy. " She said.
Jian took a bottle of water and gave it to Nana.
"Drink it." Jian said.
"Thanks "
Nana took the bottle, open the cap and drank a little bit of it.
After about forty minutes, they finally arrive at Nana's house.
Jain get down from the car and opened the passenger's seat.
"Thank you for driving me home." Nana said when she was out of the car.
"You're welcome. " Jian replied .
"Uhm, it's getting late, you should go now." Nana said to Jian.
"Enn..." Jian nodded his head.
He took a step closer to Nana and kiss her forehead. " Good night. " he said as he looked at her eyes.
Nana's heart skipped a beat!
She was stunned and was not able to react!
Wait! Did he just kiss me?
Nana has having a hard time to process to her mind, what had just happen!
"Get inside now." Jian said to Nana.
"Uh," Nana follow what Jian said. She's like a walking robot!
Jian did not leave until Nana get inside the house.
When Nana is in her room, she dived to her bed and scream, as if she was so happy!
Mrs. Zhuang and Abby heard the noise, the two of them quickly wen to Nana's room to check on her!
"Nana?!" Mrs. Zhuang and Abby called her name as they opened the door!
"..."
Nana was speechless as she pull down the pillow that she covered to her face.
"What happened?! Why did you scream?!" Mrs. Zhuang asked anxiously!
Nana blinked her eyes a few times, "Did I?" She asked back and acted innocent!

Back to Hong residence..
When Nana and Jian left, Carrie decided to go upstairs while Mrs. Hong stayed in the living room.
Her phone suddenly ring.
Mrs. Hong pick it up to see who is calling her at this late hours.
It was Victoria!
Mrs. Hong swipe her phone and answer it.
"What do you want?" Mrs. Hong asked sternly.
"You know what I want auntie! I told you to chase Natalie away, but instead of doing it, you even invited her to dinner!"
"How----"
"Are you trying to challenge me auntie? If you can't do it, then, just get ready !" And then Victoria ended up the call.
Mrs. Hong slowly put down her phone.
She's confused!
Jian is happy with Nana!
But she don't want her son to be mad to her!
Mrs. Hong can't sleep!
She waited for Jian to come home.
Mrs. Hong heard the car's engine.
After a few minutes, Jian entered the house.
"Mom, Why are you still up?" Jian aksed.
"Oh! I waited for you to come home." Mrs. Hong replied.
"Come, have a seat." She said.
Jian sit beside his mother.
Mrs. Hong stared at her son.
Jian knitted his brows, " Why?" He asked.
Mrs. Hong sigh, "Nothing! I just realize that you're already grown up. You're not the same little boy who would be coaxed by a piece of candy when you're upset. " Mrs. Hong said.
Jian felt strange about his Mom.
" Mom, why are you telling me this?" He aksed.
Mrs. Hong lowered her head.
"I'm wondering, what if I made a thing that caused you too much pain in the past? Would you still forgive me?"
