When Yuerui entered the restaurant, she saw that everything was dark.
"Hello, secretary Si? CEO Kong?" She was a little scared to see no light.
Suddenly all her surrounding lit up with small yellow colored LED lights. The pillars of the big restaurant was decorated with them beautifully and she was welcomed with a carpet made with red roses.
Seeing the whole decoration Yuerui got frightened to the core that she made a big hiccup and went backward.
Managing herself, Yuerui looked ahead and found that there is a round table at the end of the carpet and Xianwang is sitting in a chair.
Xianwang was wearing a black toxedo along with a black shirt. He is sitting in a casual posture. His legs are stressed a little and his two hands are resting on them. He fixed his cufflinks and looked at Yuerui with his cat like eyes. He was looking really handsome and the looks he was giving was a killer look.
Yuerui had to admit that he was looking like a king. She even whistled in her mind while admiring his handsomeness.
"You are in time." Xianwang's clear and heavy voice brought Yuerui out of her mind.
"Ye... Yes. But what is all this?" She asked.
"It's nothing. Just a normal dinner." Xianwang said it as if he always eats his dinner like this.
"But aren't we here for some work?" She asked again.
"Yeah. But it's dinner time. So why not grab a dinner while we are in a restaurant. Come have a sit."
Yuerui went to the table while hasitating a little and took the seat.
"Where is secretary Si?"
"He will come later."
Yuerui was surprised that the arrogant jerk was very quiet and was replying her calmly.
'He was not like that before.' she thought.
She saw there is a bottle of wine along with a bouquet of red roses in the table.
She found that very odd.
Since they were both sitting in silence she thought of asking him about it.
"Aammm... What.." but couldn't finish since Si ying entered with the dinner.
"Dinner is ready." Si ying came with a trolley full of food.
There were ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, pasta, sauteed vegetables, salad and orange juice.
Yuerui was amazed to see the food while Si ying was serving them.
"Why did you order this much food? It's really too much."
"Just eat it while I am being nice." Xianwang said arrogantly.
Hearing the rude words Yuerui became angry.
"If you invited me to humiliate me again then thank you so much." Saying so Yuerui put the fork and knife in the table with a thud sound and prepared to leave.
But Si ying became restless and he pinched his friend really hard.
"What are you doing? Go stop her." He whispered.
"Huh... Okay." Xianwang sighed and went to stop her.
"I was rude. I am sorry. Finish the dinner please." He said to Yuerui.
'Did he just said sorry to me?' Yuerui froze on her spot. She turned to Xianwang with a astonished face.
"What did you say?" Yuerui couldn't believe her ears.
"I said I'm sorry. Now come and eat." Xianwang said.
Yuerui was feeling really excited. How can she miss this good dinner when the jerk had said sorry to her.
She took the seat and said to Si ying, "Secretary Si, why don't you take a seat from there and join us."
"No, miss Mai. I am okay. I have my food on the other table. I am gonna seat there." Si ying said with a gentle smile and left the two of them alone.
