Reuben grinned at him and smiled genuinely before saying, "Thanks Tom. You have helped me a lot in these past five years in keeping our relationship a secret. I owe you a lot friend..."
Smiling as much brightly as he could, Tom spoke, "I did nothing for you Reuben, compared to what you did for me."
Yes, Tom did call Reuben by his name cause whenever Reuben would address him as 'friend', that would mean that right then Reuben was not confronting Tom as an assistant but as his old friend of college...

He took out his phone from his pocket and searched through some photos of him and Veronica together...
