Kace almost spat out the water he was sipping on when the heavy door to the room was blown inward. It completely flew off of its hinges and slammed into the wardrobe beside his bed. Shattering it into tiny fragments that sprayed over the floor.

From the doorway, Sonja came marching in unannounced. Kace was taken aback by her boldness as she seemed uncaring about how much of her legs she was currently showing off. The snow-white dress she had on was knee length but had long slits going up the sides. If she were less careful, then Kace was positive that he would catch a glimpse of what she wore underneath.

"Let's go!" Sonja demanded with a firm tone. She was effectively shutting down the attempt to complain that Grugda was about to make. Yeah, he was definitely not going to get himself involved with this.

"I'm sorry what?" Kace stammered, his mind was drawing a blank from the imposing entrance that she had just performed.

Choosing to ignore him Sonja grasped him by his arm and pulled him from the bed. Kace, who's body had not recovered yet, fell to the floor due to the weakness of his muscles at this time. When he looked up, Sonja was appraising him with a slightly red face.

It was then that realised that his naked body had just been exposed to the queen. Pulling on the covers, he quickly covered himself before fixing her with a furious gaze. 'Give a man some warning, will you!?' He roared violently in his mind.

"That's perfect! Remember that anger. You'll need it! Throw some clothes on, quickly now!" Sonja said quickly while refusing to back down from his stare.

"Some privacy might be nice!" Kace spat out venomously in response when he realised that she did not seem to intend on moving.

"Oh, sorry," Sonja stated as though it were no problem at all as she realised her mistake. "I'll be waiting outside."

Kace's body was aching as he glanced around the room. His eyes were searching for the only clothes that he owned. Noticing that they were missing, he looked towards Grugda with a desperate look on his face. Chuckling at Kace's misfortune Grugda pointed toward the other wardrobe in the room. The one that had not just been obliterated.

Kace stumbled over the bedcovers towards it, opening its doors in anticipation. However, his clothes were nowhere to be seen hiding within. 'What the fuck is this?' He questioned as he pulled a soft white, buttoned shirt from inside along with a pair of black pants that he had seen many of the vampire nobles wearing when he was in the arena.

Grugda shrugged his shoulders when Kace raised an eyebrow at him. Before picking up a pair of black boots that would reach just above Kace's ankles and tossing them to him. With a heavy sigh, he quickly put the clothes on. If it were not for his eyes, he would probably fit in quite well here now. He ran a hand through his hair only to realise that it had been cut.

'Is nothing sacred?' He wondered helplessly as he located a mirror in the corner of the room. Taking a look at himself, he noticed that the clothes fit quite well. Even if they were not to his taste, there was no denying their quality. His hair, on the other hand, actually looked quite good. The back and sides had been cut extremely short while the top had a bit of length to it, was messy and sat in a way that it leaned off to one side.

Having been the first time in a long time that he had taken a look at himself, he noticed the differences that he had gone through. The scar on his face was now silvery in colour while his body beneath the clothes gave off the distinct impression of being well toned. What had really taken him by surprise though was the stubbly beard on his face. It seemed someone had taken the time to shave and shape it for him while he had been out cold.

'Hmm, not bad if do say so myself.' Kace was astonished by his makeover. Dare he say it? He even felt somewhat human again. He ruined the moment, though, as he pulled at the material that was rubbing against his crotch. 'Would it kill them to provide some underwear, though?'

With a look of resignation, he bade farewell to Grugda as he stepped out into the hallway. Sonja, who was waiting for him, stopped tapping her foot impatiently. Kace shivered when he saw the look she was wearing. She actually looked quite happy, which made him even more worried.

Before he could say anything, she abruptly turned and started to match off. She was leaving him to follow behind her. The fast pace that she was setting reminded him of an over-excited child. Who just wanted to get to their destination as quickly as possible.

Sonja glanced over her shoulder from time to time to make sure he was still following along. She had a complicated expression on her face as she wondered why she would catch him adjusting his delicate area. 'What a bold man! I never thought he'd be the type to go commando!' She laughed childishly, causing Kace to become confused.

After a few more steps, it suddenly dawned on her. 'Oh, wait! Weren't the boxers and socks in the wardrobe that got destroyed?' Her face became even more amused as she realised her optimism was the reason for his discomfort.

Kace wondered where they were headed as they descended staircase after staircase. He could not help but notice that there was a distinct lack of servants. 'Surely a castle this size would have to have at least one maid?' Along the way, there was not much else to take note of. A few paintings and ornaments but nothing that stood out in particular to him.

'I can't wait to see his face when he receives my gifts! It will surely be a look cool of gratitude and loyalty for such a caring master!' Sonja thought as she covered her mouth with her hand and let out a playful chuckle.
