So as soon as he was born, he was fed with various supplements under the guidance of a doctor and became fat. Now after carefully adjusting his diet, he wasn’t as fat as before.
Zhouzhou seemed to understand Lu Lixing’s words. He leaned closer to the photo and glanced at it, then pointed to Ji Qingqing.
“This is Mom.”
Zhouzhou then pointed to Lu Lixing in the photo. He quickly looked back at him, seemed to recognize him as the same man in the photo, and pointed his finger at him.

Not only did the child not feel pain, but he also smiled at Lu Lixing. Undaunted, he even boldly crawled toward Lu Lixing at the edge of the desk, spreading his hands for a hug.

Before twilight arrived, Ji Qingqing finally came back from the press conference. Thinking about the baby at home, she ran away from the crew earlier. As soon as she got home, she asked where the baby was. The nanny said that her husband was walking by the lake with the child in his arms.
When she went to the lake to take a look, Lu Lixing was holding Zhouzhou in one hand while teasing him with a small toy in another hand. Zhouzhou’s bell-like laughter could be heard from afar.
The sun slowly dipped below the horizon and its afterglow just happened to reflect on the lake.
Ji Qingqing stood on one side and watched them quietly for a while. Her impatient heart was suddenly calmed down by this scene.
Zhouzhou quickly found her, and his smiling face became more and more excited. He gently stretched out her hands toward Ji Qingqing, kicking his two short legs excitedly.
Ji Qingqing walked toward Lu Lixing.
Lu Lixing looked back. “You’re back?”
Ji Qingqing smiled softly and took Zhouzhou from Lu Lixing’s arms, kissed the little guy on the face, then turned her head to one side and passively accepted a gentle and lingering kiss from Lu Lixing.
“Well, I’m back.”
The warm glow of the setting sun bathed their bodies, casting long shadows that danced to the rhythm of the horizon.
