On his way back, Nawaki walked down a secluded street. Using wind techniques to sense the presence of living beings and finding none, he created twenty shadow clones. These clones, in their dark mist mode, merged into the shadows.

After dispatching the clones, Nawaki returned to the Senju Complex.

'I hope the clones encounter some useful jonin-level fights...' he thought as he reached the courtyard. 'My experience is limited, and I haven't had many chances to observe jonin-level combat. Fighting beasts every night is one thing, but humans fight differently...'

That evening, Nawaki's routine differed from usual. Instead of entering the hunting dimension immediately after dinner and returning to his room, he chose to meditate while absorbing the orbs.

Tsunade, too, was more inclined to spend time in his room, her orb consumption increasing.

Hours later...

Tsunade had finished all two hundred orbs provided by Nawaki. Notably, her pace of consumption had improved significantly.

To her surprise, she found an additional 100 orbs emitting a faint red light waiting for her.

'That boy...' Tsunade shook her head, a smile on her face, as she resumed consuming the orbs.

Hours later, Nawaki received the memories of the shadow clones he had dispatched to observe various battlefields.

He opened his eyes, having absorbed the experiences. Most of the memories involved jonin-level combat. One of his shadow clones had even managed to save some individuals without being detected, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Dark Mist mode for stealth operations.

Through these memories, Nawaki observed a variety of combat styles. Some clones observed the ninjas from the Hidden Rain Village, while others focused on those from the Hidden Sand and Hidden Stone. There were also clones observing the Konoha ninjas.

Witnessing these battles was enlightening for Nawaki. He noted that while many ninjas engaged in direct combat and suffered quick defeats, most employed stealth tactics, which Nawaki believed to be the proper approach for a ninja. Charging head-on without considering potential traps seemed like a reckless, suicidal strategy to him.

Leveraging the insights gained from the purple orbs, Nawaki began to rapidly and accurately comprehend the fighting styles of ninjas from different villages.

It took him over an hour to fully process all the information.

'I feel stronger...' Nawaki thought to himself.

With that, he lay down on his bed, preparing to enter the hunting dimension.

Five and a half months later...

Nawaki, having mastered the arts of wind and fire, reached the limits of improvement possible with the crystal orbs. No matter how many he used, he could no longer gain additional benefits from them.

He was now confronting the Flaming Red Lion, a formidable adversary. The lion, feeling immense pressure from Nawaki, had been avoiding a direct confrontation. Had it not been for its evasive tactics, Nawaki might have defeated it days ago.

This time, the lion found itself cornered, its pride of lionesses already vanquished by Nawaki's shadow clones.

"ROAR!"

The lion's roar, once intimidating, now seemed almost endearing to Nawaki. To him, it was akin to a frightened kitten meowing.

Engulfing his hands in dark wind, Nawaki, shrouded in his dark mist mode, launched his attack.

"Roar!" The Flaming Red Lion retaliated, spewing a fireball from its mouth in a desperate attempt to fend off Nawaki.

The dark wind effortlessly sliced through the fireball, continuing to swirl around Nawaki's hands.

The lion was backed against a massive tree, a towering fire tree over fifty meters tall.

Realizing its attack had failed, the Flaming Red Lion's bloodthirsty eyes flickered with uncertainty.

Enraged, the lion ignited vibrant red flames across its body and unleashed a huge claw of flame towards Nawaki.

"Bang!!"

A terrifying wave of energy erupted. Nawaki, with a mere wave of his hand, dispelled the powerful flaming onslaught using his dark wind.

Caught off guard, the Flaming Red Lion hadn't anticipated Nawaki's overwhelming strength.

As Nawaki closed in, he unleashed a series of punches, each landing forcefully on the Flaming Red Lion's body and head. The lion's agonized roars were a clear testament to the impact.

Nawaki's aim was not just to defeat the Flaming Red Lion; he sought to kill it and claim the fire tree for himself, intending to unlock the deepest secrets of fire. His current strength made this goal well within reach.

Each wind-infused punch acted like a sharp blade, tearing into the Flaming Red Lion. Bloody cuts appeared all over its body as it roared, struggling futilely to escape Nawaki's relentless assault. Golden chains materialized, binding the lion and preventing its escape.

Unbeknownst to the lion, red strands began to appear in Nawaki's hair, but it was too preoccupied with its diminishing life force, roaring in a desperate bid to survive.

Upon the Flaming Red Lion's death, its body turned to ash. Nawaki observed this transformation with a sense of accomplishment, having finally vanquished the formidable beast.

The wind scattered the ashes, revealing what remained: 12 red spheres, glowing brighter than the lion itself, and 12 more intensely luminous purple orbs. Additionally, there lay a vibrant, life-filled red crystal orb, embodying the essence of fire.

Lastly, Nawaki encountered a hazy white sphere unlike anything he had seen before. It didn't quite resemble an orb; rather, it appeared to be a strand of energy, constantly shifting between forms of light orbs and threads.

Without dwelling on it, Nawaki first gathered all the light orbs.

He then approached the fire tree and began to interact with its flame. Unlike before, he didn't feel the sensation of burning. Instead, the flame transformed into a red light and entered Nawaki's mental dimension.

Having completed these tasks, Nawaki found himself back in his room, his eyes alight with excitement. The bounty he had gathered was more substantial than any previous haul, including a type of energy he had never encountered.

Curious, Nawaki delved into his mental dimension to inspect his new acquisitions. There, he found a small flame and an unusual energy thread among the orbs. The flame flickered and burned in the void, seemingly imparting knowledge of the fire god's art directly into Nawaki's mind. The energy thread, however, appeared distorted and unremarkable.

Nawaki's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he settled down to focus. Mentally touching the energy, he decided to absorb it. The moment the energy entered his body, Nawaki shuddered, his expression transforming to one of elation.

The experience was exhilarating!

As the energy coursed through him, Nawaki experienced a sensation akin to a gentle hand massaging every muscle in his body. He closed his eyes, relishing the comfort and feeling his body brim with life force. Even his mental strength was noticeably enhancing.

The energy, though just a thread, possessed an immense depth, reminiscent of vast oceans. It continuously washed over Nawaki's body, inducing a profound and fundamental transformation within him.

Content with his current state, which felt more revitalized than when he was using the faint purple orbs, Nawaki didn't overthink the situation. He proceeded to utilize the crystal ball of fire obtained from the male lion.

The small flame within him emitted runes of fire art, intertwining with the male lion's fire techniques that flowed through Nawaki's body. The integration of the peculiar energy thread further heightened his sensory perception.

Nawaki could feel his mastery of fire art advancing at an exceptionally rapid pace.

The following morning, sunlight filtered through the window, illuminating Nawaki's room.
