"Oh really? I thought I heard it was a group of assassin's aiming to get the blood of Hobgoblins for some experiments,"
I returned to the city and random rumors can be heard. In reality, it was just me who killed them. I'm sure they didn't saw my face because as the other one said, I was covered in blood but I managed to clean myself with the lake's water I found just far part of the Hobgoblin's area. Killing monsters are common, so why are they making a big deal out of it. It took me the whole day and all night too.
It's almost six pm and it's getting dark. I should check my rank to see if I can join the dungeon exploration.

Well, my agility is abnormally high because of my masteries. The thing is my strength is really low. My attacks wouldn't deal much so I need to rely on my speed and spells.
I decided to come back and apply again for the exploration and I'm on my way but...
"Hey weakling, it's you! What are you up to?" The sharp-tongued brat or who they call, Ms. Celeste, saw me walking to the castle gate.
"Hello, Ms. Celeste! Are you going to the castle? I'm on my way there to apply for the exploration," I said trying to smile.
"Oh, what a good timing, I'm the one who's in charge. I'll tell the guards to let you join, weakling! Haha!" She laughed wholeheartedly. She should stop saying, weakling, it's not really funny.
As soon as we arrived at the gate, the guards salute as if their lives are on the line. It looks like this brat is really a big shot.
"Hey, you there! Let this man join our exploration. His name is wea... what was your name again?" She said scratching her head trying to remember something, though we never had the chance to introduce ourselves.
"It's Scythus. I came here earlier to apply but the guard said I can't because my level was too low," I said trying not to look pathetic.
"Yes Ms. Celeste, earlier he came here and he said that his level is less than a hundred which is really low so I don't think we can accept him," He said trying not to look at the brat's eye.
"Is that so... Just do what I say and add him up!" She shouted. Even the guards outside trembled from fear.
"But Ms. Celest-,"
"It is ok Mr. I'm now level 105 so I think it is OK for me to join you guys now," I stopped him from talking because he would be in trouble if this brat gets mad.
"Are you really sure? It's impossible to level up that fast in just a short period of time. But ok, if you say so," He said. He accepted me in request of Ms. Celeste and didn't check my current stats.
"We will travel tomorrow at exactly eight o'clock in the morning so make sure you come in time, ok? You're not such a weakling after all. Haha," She laughed again. Jeez, how can she be this arrogant?
"Alright, see you tomorrow!" I said waving at her while she enters the castle.
-Aries' Home-
Mari should be home by now. I forgot to get her number. Jeez, she's really taking her time.
"KRIIIIING KRIIIIIING!" A telephone call, it should be Mari who is calling.
As soon as I answered the phone she started talking.
"Hey Bro! I'm going to stay here at the house of Azzie for tonight. Is that ok?" She asked. She didn't check if I was the one who answered the phone because she knows that I'm the only one here.
"Sure, just make sure you don't bother her family ok? And come home safe tomorrow," I answered.
"Ok, thanks, Bro! You take care of yourself too," She said and hung up. I guess I can grind again later.
-Kitchen-
I just prepared instant noodles for my dinner because I'm kind of lazy to cook.
After eating I took a nice bath and brushed my teeth, living a life like of a NEET which stands for "Not in Education, Employment or Training". That is very common in manga and anime.
As soon as I finished all my necessities, I entered the game.
-Order of Light City-
"Hey Scy, are you there? It's me Elou we just entered the game. It took us longer than we thought," I heard his whisper from Elou so I answered.
"It's ok, but right now I'm here in Order of Light's city. It is a one-hour walk north of Green Leaf village. You should come here too. It is really beautiful," I replied.
"Wow, really?! Of course! I'm with Akko and Lili right now. We're going there. Is the way safe though?" He asked worriedly.
"Yes, just make sure you run if you see bandits around." I tried making a joke to lighten up the mood.
"Ok, we will be there as soon as we can. Anyway, let's hunt later! See you!" He said and cut off the whisper.
I went to the shop to sell my loot from the hobgoblins earlier but the shopkeeper tried to ask a question.
"Ehh- Mr. Traveler, are you the one who slaughtered the Hobgoblins? From the looks of your loot, it seems it's you," He asked. Well, it's really obvious, right?
"Yup, that's me! But don't say slaughtered, just say hunted ok? I'm not that bad to say slaughter, right? Please make it a secret between us. I promise to sell all my loot to you," I smiled at him trying to look good.
"Of course, of course, Mr. Customer. They say the customer is always right," He smiled hiding his fear. His face looks like he was afraid that he forced to smile but also needed the materials.
Did I do something wrong? Well, as long as I gain gold I don't really care.
After selling all the loot, I walked around the marketplace. It's almost night time but the place is really bright. People use elemental sprites for daily purposes.
Elemental sprites are like fairies but cuter and usually like big droplets with wings floating around. Fire sprites for creating fire easily, Water sprites provide clean and pure water, Wind sprites can freely harness the power of wind and air and other more. They are really convenient to have. I'm going to have one of that someday.
While walking I saw a tavern filled with people. The tavern is where people meet, drink and trade information. Better check it out.
I entered the place and people are cheering everywhere. There's an arm wrestling going on between two adventurers, what is going on?
