Maisie's extreme bloodlust is way too powerful that even high-level players or monsters will flee away from her intent to kill. She just used her armor soul earlier and it feels so powerful.
"Hey, Zofie, do you have any idea what her armor soul is?" Zofie might know something.
"She's using Crimson Cowl." Her answer is so specific and direct...
"And do you know anything about this Crimson Cowl?" I asked...
"Crimson Cowl's specialty is it provides better melee combat power dramatically. It also improves the caster's intimidation ability. Other than that, Crimson Cowl will provide what her partner needs in certain situations." So it's the opposite of Zofie because Zofie is a defensive one and kind of peaceful and safer play. And back to their fight...
*CLANG!* Both of them are deflecting and attacking each other with swords of their monster soul and armor soul forms but it's like they're fighting in a fair fight. It should be not as this close considering Maisie's using an armor soul.
"I can say that you've improved a lot from the last time we fought but it's still not enough to settle the score. CHRONOS' SONIC SLASH!" Aurora used a powerful sonic slash she used to defeat Arvin!
"..." Maisie unleashed the same powerful slash in crimson color twice!
*BAAAAAM BAAAAAAM!* She already anticipated Aurora's passive. Aurora's passive created another slash wave and making both of their attacks collide with each other. In this state, they have almost the same power!
"CHRONO'S FAST THRUST! FAST SWIPE! FORWARD SLASH!" Aurora moved so elegantly that I can't tell if she's attacking or what! Her attacks are way too random and she consecutively tried to land a hit on Maisie!
"..." Maisie tried her best to avoid the attacks even with Aurora's passive. She's being too careful now. I heard Maisie's fighting style is brutal and she just attacks and use her best attacks without plans but it looks like she's fighting in a different way this time. She's trying to read Aurora's move before trying to counter and block her attacks at the same time.
*CLANG CLANG CLANG!* Their swords, upon colliding, creates a tremendous amount of force that flings their weapons in contact. I can tell that their swords alone can destroy a building with one slash. (I'm pretty sure she's exaggerating.)
After a massive exchange of blows, both are starting to slow down and Maisie is not in a good spot. She did her best to not only stop Aurora's attack but she also had to do something about Aurora's passive which duplicates most of all her moves giving her a tough time to retaliate! A sword fight with someone with that passive is like asking her to kill you.
"..." Finally, Maisie backed off for a bit while anyone can tell that she's breathing heavily. She's starting to get exhausted but not enough to stop her from her goal to defeat Aurora.
"..." She's starting to use a different stance. I can't tell exactly but I can feel that she's trying to concentrate more while saving energy. Does she really have some sort of ability that can defeat Aurora?
"That again, huh. Last time you used it, you lost to me. But let's see. CHRONOS' BLADE PLAY STYLE!" Aurora also changed her fighting stance! She's now holding her sword with both of her hands. I can tell that she's aiming for more powerful attacks rather than random fast attacks.
"..." Maisie started moving again but from what Aurora said, it looks like last time they used both these stances, Aurora managed to stop and defeat her.
*BAAAAAAAM!* A massive explosion happened after their swords collided. What?! Their attacks are on par! They're both pushed back and it looks like they didn't take that much damage.
"Not bad, you're attacks are more powerful now. I'm going to enjoy this." Aurora... it's not the time to be overconfident. Maisie almost killed me with only one shot.
"CHRONOS' ACCELERATE!" This time, she's still using her fighting stance and also increased her overall mobility.
Once again, both charged at each other but it looks like Aurora is on the upper hand.
*BAAAAAAM!* Their attacks were as powerful as before but after getting knocked back again, Aurora's rushing towards Maisie who's still recovering from that last move!
"..." Maisie tried to unleash slash waves towards Aurora but she was able to dodge all of it with her movement speed! Is it still early for Maisie to fight Aurora again?
"CHRONOS' TIME STOP!" This is the famous move of Aurora, time stop! Suddenly, Maisie tried to use her sword to block the incoming attack of Aurora but she wasn't able to successfully raise her sword in time!
*BAAAAAAAM!* A powerful attack of Aurora hit the shoulder of Maisie after a brief period of time stop! Aurora's target was her head but she was able to move her head and raise her sword to block in time, not enough time to protect her shoulder, though.
*CLANG!* Maisie tried her best to push Aurora back but Aurora's too persistent of ending the fight sooner. She's taking advantage of the situation and not wasting time that might let her opponent bite the dust again.
"CHRONOS' TIME STOP!" Once again, she used her spell and then planning to attack again! Maisie's wounded but she doesn't show any signs of weaknesses.
*BAAAAAAM!* Aurora, with her speed, is now behind Maisie! Maisie tried to turn around at all cost but her legs won't move! Time stop is at it again! She was able to cancel the time stop but it was too late and the only thing she could do is block the attack with her sword in a not so good position!
*ROLLING SOUNDS* Maisie was able to block Aurora's attack but it also made her lost balance and hit the ground because of the force. It was good enough rather than dying from that attack.
After that, she regained posture after rolling and stood up fast enough to defend herself. It's so not her... She's known as a savage girl who just attacks mindlessly but it looks like she's really aiming for the win that she's doing everything just to show Aurora that she can beat her but in this kind of situation, she's really not doing well.
"..." Suddenly.... the wind is starting to get colder. Around her crimson hair and armor, snow started to fall from the sky... It's still early but it looks like she used some sort of spell to use this, but for what?
"Whatever you are planning, it won't work. Unless you bait me with a pizza, that might work." Good job exposing your weakness to an opponent but I'm pretty sure it won't ever happen.
"..." Uhm, I guess she's trying to say something but I'm pretty sure it's not about the pizza.
"CHRONOS' TIME STOP!" Once again, Aurora's aiming for the kill! She rushed towards Maisie!
*BAAAAAAAM!* What?! Maisie used a powerful side swing, fast enough to get Aurora off guard! Aurora didn't anticipate the attack and she only blocked it in time but it was still powerful that she was pushed back and crashed into a wall of a building. Debris and dust covered the area after that. But how? I thought Aurora used her time stop?
*SWOOOSH SWOSWOSWOOOSH!* She didn't stop from that! Maisie unleashed slash waves towards Aurora's location in quick succession. If I'm right there, even with Sofie's help, that could kill me in that spot for sure!
But there are no sounds of any explosions or hitting something... After a few seconds, the dust cleared up and Aurora's pointing her hand towards the slash waves direction and it looks like she stopped them with a time stop. She moved past the slash waves and canceled the time stop. The slash waves crashed from the building behind making explosions.
"That was a smart move. Using the snow to spot where I will use my time stop next, you're really thinking now. I can say that my spell won't help me that much anymore, then I need to do something else," Aurora's amazed at how her opponent thinks ahead and plan everything to defeat her but Aurora's also smart by figuring out her opponent's plans in just one event. If I were in her situation, it will take a while for me to figure it out.
If Aurora uses her spell in one spot, then it would also stop the snow from falling giving Maisie the idea where the location is. But how she cancels Time Stop, I still wonder about that. With the snow hint, she has more time to cancel the Time Stop and fight Aurora fairly. Wait, does that mean Aurora can't use that spell twice in a row?
"..." Wait... once again, Maisie changed fighting stance... I remember that style... that's the style used by Zia, Leion, and Sieg!
*BAAAAAAM!* In just an instant, Maisie appeared from behind Aurora and delivered a powerful body slash from below, almost breaking Aurora's armor in half!
"What?! Where did she come from?!" Aurora, out of nowhere, is confused. She's not really that aware of how Maisie fights and neither do I but I can tell that it's way too fast!
*CLANG!* And then Maisie appeared in front of her while Aurora is still trying to look behind her and see what happened! But Aurora's instincts saved her and blocked Maisie's attack in time once again with her sword! Did Maisie just turn the table around?!
