"So you already used it huh. I know that your monster soul has a lot of power and tough as well but it doesn't boost your other stats besides strength and intelligence." Mari explained. That's right. It seems she can really use burst attacks but she's really slow even with the thin armor.
"It's a problem if you can hit me but I know you can only use minor light attack spells." Azzie's right. From what I've seen, Lili has better attacking light spells than Mari because she focuses mostly on support spells but we can't know for sure.
"And now I will finish this fight. CHERUFE'S BLAZING FLAME BREATH!" It wasn't an ultimate attack but you can feel the intensity and power! She created a fire in an area to burn Mari. She should really do something or else she won't win the match. I'm getting worried about her.
"LIGHT PROTECTION!" Mari didn't use her grand nullification and she only used one of her powerful barriers. I think she can't use grand nullification again because she is trying to regenerate her mana. All Azzie did is to attack Mari consuming a large amount of mana but Mari just defends from them trying to conserve mana.
*BAAAAAAM!* The moment Azzie's attack reach Mari, her barrier shattered and she received some injuries. Thanks to her Magic resist enhancement she didn't suffer too much. She doesn't have a choice but to defend from her attacks. What are you planning Mari? I know you both know your tactics but it seems this time they changed their own.
"Are you planning something? If so, I'm pretty sure it won't work because my spells can just shatter your defense." Azzie's trying to finish the fight as soon as possible. She's right, with her power she can easily destroy every barrier Mari can create.
"CHERUFE'S BLAZING METEOR!" A powerful large fireball infused with Cherufe's flame is falling from above to hit Mari! This is not a good situation for Mari!
"LIGHT PROTECTION!" Mari once again used her magic barrier! Holy crap that's a large fireball! Can her light protection really stop it?!
"I'm not done yet. CHERUFE'S BLAZING TSUNAMI!" What on New Life Online world is this?! She created a wave of flame just like a tall tide! Are you freaking kidding me?!
Mari didn't do anything and just focusing on defending from the two attacks. Her grand nullification won't be enough to cancel these two attacks. It's either get hit or dodge it but first, she has to jump higher than the waves and not get hit by the meteor but it's impossible because the radius of the meteor can hit most of the part of the arena.
"LIGHT ULTIMATE PROTECTION!" She used the highest version of the magic barrier which greatly reduces the effects of magic damage. But would it be enough?!
*BAAAAAAAAAAM!* The flame wave didn't push her back and she successfully defended with her magic sphere barrier and magic resist enhancement.
*BOOOOOOOOOM!* The giant fireball hit her barrier and broke which created a massive explosion. Unity barrier was cast and successfully defended the audiences from the explosion. The explosion created smoke which covered the whole arena.
"Holy mother of God! That was a powerful explosion! I'm pretty sure even an army of Orcs won't survive from an attack like that." Aika excitedly said.
"I even can't believe what I'm seeing right now. They discovered their monster souls a couple of days ago but they are really getting stronger so fast. Anyway, Mari seems to be in not so good part. We still can't see anything because the arena is covered in smoke." Old geezer explained.
I still can feel Mari's aura and she's still alive but with those injuries, I'm pretty sure she's almost at the edge. Mari, I don't want them to continue the match but deep inside me, I want Mari to win. Ugh...
The moment the smoke cleared up, Azzie is still there with full hp. Finally, Mari shows up after and she's just sitting on the floor. Can she even walk? Her injuries are severe. How come she doesn't use heal spells?
"I guess the fight really will end now. You are really strong but I will not lose to you Azzie! SPIRIT CALLER'S WRATH!" Mari finally decided to use her monster soul at the end of the match? She can't even move.
Thank God her transformation clothes weren't that revealing as the others.
"Hear my call spirits of fallen warriors! SPIRIT CALLER'S UNITY VENGEANCE!" I felt that she used all her mana to use her ultimate move! She summoned multiple spirits out of nowhere and now they are charging towards Azzie!
"What the?!" Azzie was surprised. This is the first time she saw her use that move! That move increases the number and power of spirits the lower her health points so, with an almost dead state, the number is significantly high!
"Your spirits won't help you! CHERUFE'S BLAZING LAVA TSUNAMI!" Azzie decided to use her ultimate attack! Earlier she used a blazing tsunami, but this time it was combined with the earth element of the Cherufe!
*BABABAAAAAAAAM!* The spirits destroyed the lava tsunami! Holy cow! How did that happen?!
*SWOOOSH SWOOOSH SWOOOSH!* Multiple spirits flew towards Azzie but she just stood there. What is going on?!
*BAAAAAAAAM!* They hit her and successfully knock her out of the arena! She received a fatal blow but thankfully she's alive. She realized that without mana left, she can't defend from the attack.
"Wow! What a fight?! The winner is Mari!" Aika announced the winner.
Their guild members helped them to get back to their seats because both of them really have severe injuries. They also got a treatment so I guess they're ok now. That was a good fight. Maybe it's good for their friendship too.
"WOOOOOH! YOU REALLY ARE THE BEST! BE MY LITTLE SISTER!" Back off! You will never steal my Imouto away!
I realized what happened earlier. Azzie used her ultimate move but she only used her remaining mana which is critically low after using two heavy attacks making her last move weaker that is why Mari's ultimate move easily stopped her attack. That was a risky move but I guess it worked well. Also sacrificing her health to increase her ultimate move's power was reckless as hell.
After that match, there is no pause or waiting and Aika is ready to announce the next match.
