It is obvious that these two men were involved in the explosion that just occurred and that this is a typical occurrence based on the soot on their cheeks and the fact that the other members of the R&D Team are eyeing them with a faraway expression on their faces.

I, therefore, grab a nearby R&D Team member and ask for an explanation of the situation.
