196 Chapter 195: Destroying a sealed artifact
“What’s so shocking? Are you surprised you actually failed to kill me?” Damon asked the levitating figure with a calm look in his eyes.
If one looked deep into his eyes properly one would notice his mocking tone.

The freezing field failed to progress with Damon there, shattering almost in an instant while Damon stood, shielding Gerald with his figure.
“You should be dead” Raizen muttered.
He had met Damon and Sol. He could boldly say Sol had a more intimidating aura when compared to Sol. After surviving such a traumatic event, be it, Sol or Damon, both were more than enough to make Raizen quake in his boots.
“And you should be dead as well, yet we are both alive. Who the hell is to be blamed?” Damon yawned as he casually threw aside Raizen’s words.
The sinister smile on his face made it difficult for anyone to take him seriously.
“You...” Raizen’s face twisted in rage but he dared not make a move without caution.

He could tell Damon has somehow progressed to the angel realm and that’s why he could take on these sealed artifacts casually with little or no stress. Anyone else below this level won’t be able to enjoy such privileges.

“Hmph! There is nothing that can stand in my way now!” Damon seemed to care little about Raizen’s attempt to stop him and even now he looked more amused than terrified.

Black aura surged around his palm as he struck forward once again but this time his hand pierced through the golden sphere like a knife, piercing through it almost effortlessly!

Raizen had turned into a bolt of lightning while trying to escape the attack. He managed to succeed but he too had a deep piercing wound on his shoulder while Damon’s hand was stained with blood.
“Not bad. If you were just a tad bit slower, you would have been dead already” Damon gave an honest review without fear. He simply shrugged his shoulders and smiled at the pale silver dragon host.
Raizen with his hand placed on his wound. The golden blade in his hand glowed brightly and greedily consumed the black aura lingering in the wound and preventing it from spreading. He looked up only to realize Damon was gone and a deep chill ran down his spine as he quickly turned only to see Damon standing casually and looking down at him. With both of them finally standing face to face, Raizen realized Damon was no longer the average human height.
With his evolution to the next realm, his physical qualities had changed drastically making him more than a god than a human.
“Back then you managed to kill me and it filled you with foolish confidence. Now, I have returned and I’m prepared to defend myself and you are terrified? Tell me do you plan to flee?” Damon asked while gazing deeply into the eyes of the terrified opponent.

Raizen growled furiously as he stabbed forward with both blades but Damon casually caught both blades with his hands and they even failed to penetrate his skin.
His death aura began surging into the black blade while transferring into the golden one causing it to tremble violently. At first, Raizen assumed it would be a good thing but seeing more of it happen and the dual blades trembling violently he realized something was wrong!
“Let go!” Raizen growled as he tried to pull away but Damon’s grip on the dual blades was strong.
His indifferent gaze seemed to appear here as he casually chose to ignore everything Raizen was saying and focused on pouring his energy into the sealed artifact!

Raizen growled furiously and allowed his energy to run rampant! His fierceness came in the form of wind blades and lighting lashing out at Damon violently but none could move past his thin yet powerful defensive shell. They couldn’t even pierce his body, talk less of harming him!

A figure appeared behind Damon and the dragon gauntlets in his eyes let out a blue flash as fierce blue flames surged forward threatening to consume Damon’s entire figure!

Slamming into Damon’s invisible zone, the sea of blue flames was forced to split in two and also was unable to reach Damon.
“Don’t be in a hurry to die, lad. You are actually the reason why I came here. You will not survive this encounter” Damon didn’t even bother to look at Fei while he spoke. His total attention was pinned on the dual blades in this hand filled with countless cracks as more power surged into it!
