Chapter 160:Deceiving Uncle Sheng (59)

Knowing Shu Nuan’s personality, Sheng Qianmo could tell that she was distressed.

While she was half-dressing for him, Sheng Qianmo lifted her chin and noticed that her eyes were slightly red, but then she hung her eyes and refused to show them to him.

Sheng Qianmo did not force her, and instead he gently pinched her soft little face. He asked, “Do you bear a grudge toward This Prince?”

“No.” Shu Nuan sniffed her nose.

Sheng Qianmo bowed his head and kissed her nose.

“Don’t be afraid, This Prince will be back after the battle.”

Shu Nuan pushed him away and ran to the library to stay.

—–

When Sheng Qianmo opened the door with a plate of grapes she loved to eat, Shu Nuan was already reading a book. Seeing him came in, she lowered her head again and continued to read her book absently.

Sheng Qianmo sat down and closed the book in her hand. When she looked up, he stripped a grape and brought it to her mouth.

Shu Nuan looked at him and could only open her mouth and eat obediently.

Because of the sweetness, her mood was getting better. She let him feed a few grapes, looked up at him, and whispered, “When will Your Highness come back?”

“Less is three months; more is half a year.”

Sheng Qianmo attached great importance to the battlefield and knew that the battle in Southern Xinjiang would not be an easy fight, so he was also ready for a protracted war.

Shu Nuan looked at him. She didn’t resist, rushed over, and gently hugged his neck, biting his lip for a long time without saying anything.

She felt ridiculous.

When she was working in the Li Shop, she advised Little Susu to not think much about the war. At this moment, she was more afraid than little Susu.

Sheng Qianmo also felt something strange.

He had fought many wars over the years, but every time he’d left without care.

But this time was different. This time a little girl was thinking about him. She would worry about him, and she was so worried now that she cried yet did not dare to weep.

Sheng Qianmo rubbed her hair and said, “After This Prince leaves, if trouble comes ask Li Yuan, or Ningcheng Yuan in the military camp. You can also go to him for help. This Prince has already explained it.”

Shu Nuan was quiet, only knowing how to hold his neck.

Sheng Qianmo looked down at her and saw that her nose was red. She must have been secretly wronged and could not help scratching her nose. “Poor thing.”

Shu Nu stubbornly muttered, “No.”

Sheng Qianmo looked at her delicate red lips and pecked at them with his head bowed. The little girl’s mouth was sweet and tasted of grapes. Sheng Qianmo kissed her small mouth and said in a low voice, “I feel reluctant to part with my little girl for so long.”

As he uttered, his big hand reached into her clothes again…

That night, Shu Nuan used her mouth to serve him once. Sheng Qianmo was usually gentle and composed. However, he said a lot of obscene words in the process of helping him. Shu Nuan blushed and felt ashamed. She didn’t know what she was suffering from, but she was very miserable.

The next morning, Shu Nuan was awakened by a slight noise. She opened her eyes and saw the curtain yarn slightly shaking. There was a figure changing clothes. Shu Nuan rubbed her eyes and got out of bed. She walked over to serve him. Her voice was soft and muddled as she asked, “Is Your Highness leaving?”

She hugged him from behind. He bowed his head and gently grasped her two small hands, shook them for a while, then turned her around and brought her into a hug. He bowed his head and kissed her. He gave a faint “eh” sound and said, “Leaving.”
