Ah’Bi was waiting ill at ease outside of Teacher Li’s room, where Sheng Gu was taking her exam.
There, she had a coincidental meeting with Sheng Lingyun, who had come over looking for Teacher Li.

Seeing him get angry, Ah’Bi did not dare beat around the bush. She spoke to him honestly,
“Princess Gu wants to study here. She is currently taking an examination under Teacher Li’s supervision. The Princess is in poor health but she still studied diligently for the past two days. However, this servant is worried that the Princess will not able to do well because of her poor health. If Seventh Prince is looking for Teacher Li, could Your Highness put in a good word for the princess?”
The speech sounded so sincere, but the nuance behind was for Sheng Lingyun to give ShengGu an advantage.
This was easy for Sheng Lingyun, but there was something he needed to clarify. “Why haven’t you taken this up with Fourth Brother?”
Sheng Gu was both of their little niece, but his Fourth Brother took care of her as she grew up in the ShengHe Palace. Was it not easy to deal with the problem if this servant talked to his Fourth Brother? Such were his thoughts.

Ah’Bi looked at him blankly and nodded. “Seventh Prince may ask this servant anything.”
“Has Fourth Brother been favoring anyone lately?”

“There is one cunning slave. The Fourth Prince is a little keen on her for now, but it won’t be long till he gets tired of her.”

He could tell that her judgement of the little girl was aided by her emotions.
Sheng Lingyun had been mortified of his Fourth Brother for a long time. Let alone provoking him, the Seventh Prince would even behave well in front of Sheng Qianmo.
