"Patrick, well, I have no idea about what you were looking at, but our jet was located in the middle of the grassland right now. Where in the bloody hell is the fucking jet that we are escorting?" Lynn asked.

Well, Lynn hadn't realized that Patrick was looking at other flying objects. He was looking at the radar signature that the other planes in the airspace looked like. He was afraid that the Ambrosia cartel would be coming after him and ruin all of the covert ops things. Well, Patrick didn't want that at all. He wanted a smooth flight to Area 51.

"By the way, Lynn, what is Area 51. I've never heard of it," Clara asked.

"Well. Area 51 huh?" Lynn started explaining while Patrick thought about the answer on his own mind.

Area 51 was a United States research facility. The research facility in area 51 was used for airplane research. That was the place where many prototypes of unknown aircraft were tested. If he came there, he could see the UFO prototype plane that was tested in the 90s. However, Patrick had assumed that Area 51 hid a lot of secrets among the other secrets. There was a reason why that area was still classified until today.

"And… That is area 51," Lynn stopped.

Lynn gave the same explanation as what Patrick had been thinking without any difference. However, Patrick also had thought that Lynn had gone to Area 51 before since her explanation was very detailed. For example, she explained which sectors contained the prototypes of the airplane and something about the alien. However, Patrick didn't want to ask, what Lynn had known better be kept as a secret at this point since the secret of the United States wasn't usually that pretty to be heard.

"Lynn, about Herring. Who is he? Why would you call him your father?" Clara asked.

And Lynn began telling stories about Herring and their fateful meeting in the middle of the desert in Afghanistan. Yes, Herring and Lynn met in Afghanistan and both of them were not friends back then. In fact, Lynn met his special force squad when she was disguised as a guerilla fighter. Well, needless to say, it was quite an experience for both her and Herring.

"Afghanistan? Wait, you fought the delta force before?" Clara asked.

"Yeah, I fought the delta force before," Lynn said.

"Well, Lynn, I have to say. You're quite a superhuman," Clara said.

"Damn, it was quite a compliment from someone that survived being fired by an anti-tank missile launcher," Lynn complimented Clara.

"Thanks," Clara said.

However, Patrick's attention was moved to something else. There was something on the radar and it seemed to be unfriendly. The objects moved at a formation and both were moving at a great velocity towards their VIP. It wasn't fast enough to be called a missile but certainly wasn't a regular passenger plane either.

Well, Patrick wanted to keep his mind as positive as possible by thinking that it was probably another escort that came from the US side. However, Herring confirmed that there wouldn't be any escort for that plane since it would land in the restricted area. So, Patrick would just watch and see what those planes were up to.

Those radar signatures indicated that it was a squadron of F-15Es that were flying from a nearby military base located in New Mexico. However, it didn't ring any IFF as a friend either since that plane didn't have any signs of US air force aircraft. It made Patrick wondered who the heck was that squadron.

Patrick couldn't contact them since he was maintaining radar silence. However, Patrick didn't want them to fire an AMRAAM at the target that he was supposed to be protecting. Well, he needed to fly closer to the F-15 and hoped for the best. He didn't want to spook them though, he only wanted to know what they were up to.

Patrick: "Infanta 1 to all planes. Check the radar signature on 1-8-0."

Lynn: "There were six planes. All are F-15s. Should we check them out?"

Patrick: "Yeah. Let's go. There is no reason for not checking them and being caught with our pants down certainly not our wishes."

Clara: "Copy that Infanta 1. Infanta 3 will move to intercept."

The three jets pushed their throttle forward and moved to intercept those jets which were moving behind the VIP. Patrick looked at the jet signature. It wasn't the regular F-15 of the United States airforce. The tails of those aircraft were colored red. There wasn't any single squadron in the United States military whose tails are colored red. It must be an adversary.

"To the unidentified aircraft. This is United States Airforce. State your intention or we will shoot you down," Patrick said through the frequency.

There wasn't any response from those planes. Patrick zoomed the camera of his targeting pod and found that it wasn't a regular F-15. It was an F-15 Active. Yes, it was another experimental plane that was never developed by the United States military. There was only one organization besides the HSDC which was using that plane. That organization was none other than the Ambrosia cartel.

"Patrick, they're hostile!" Lynn shouted and she fired two AMRAAM missiles at the target. One of the targets blew up in mid-air and the other planes moved in another direction and they scrambled to multiple directions.

"All planes. You have permission to engage. Erase those HSDC bastards!" The plane moved in multiple directions and fired their missiles at the Infanta's F-22s.

All of the planes inside of that squadron dodged the missiles that were fired at them thanks to the heavy jamming that was coming from the radar and the great maneuverability of the F-22. Patrick fired another missile at them and it missed. The jets that they were using was simply high-spec.

"Patrick, we need to move away. Let's use our stealth to our advantage," Lynn said.

"Roger that," Patrick moved away from that squadron.

The weapon bay was closed and the jet disappeared on their radar. Patrick turned on the afterburner and flew away from the direction of those jets. They would be using the long-range missile swarms tactic. They would be firing many AMRAAM at the adversaries and it wouldn't fail.

"Shit, where are they?" The adversaries said.

Those F-15s were searching for the invisible jet. The upper hand was back in their hands again. It was the time to strike back at those fighter jets. Patrick opened the weapon bay of his F-22 and he fired three AMRAAM missiles at the enemies.

The missiles hit two of them and the other three scrambled and followed the smoke trail of those missiles. Patrick found out that the plane was indeed from the Ambrosia. He noticed the emblem that was painted on the tails of their aircraft.

"Fox 2." Patrick fired an AIM-9 Sidewinder at the F-15.

"Splash!" The missile hit the F-15 that was charging in his direction.

The other two planes were being fought by both Clara and Lynn. Those two planes were being played by them. Yeah, Lynn and Clara didn't want to shoot them down so quickly. They wanted to play around with their lives first. However, Patrick immediately changed course and followed the bombardier jet that had flown away from them.

"To all planes. Finish the job. The VIP is flying away," Patrick said.

"Alright boss man, Fox 4!" Clara shouted and the sound of rotating autocannon could be heard in the background. Those planes blew up from the sky as they went back to Patrick's side again. That was a short, but interesting dogfight. Patrick was glad there was some entertainment for their flights.

"Ooooweee, that was fun. Well, it would be way challenging in our F-15, but it is certainly doable," Lynn said.

'You got that right," Clara said.

Patrick ignored the chit-chats. He wanted to know the status of the Bombardier jet. He was afraid if there was anything other than those jets. He was afraid that those jets were decoy from the real attacks. Patrick checked on the radio for the status of the Bombardier jet.

"We're fine Infanta squadron. Thanks for the assist."

Patrick took a deep breath. It was a close call. If he wasn't looking at the radar, that plane would have been shot from the sky and Herring would be pissed. Well, it was a good day for them.
