Tonk and Harold were engaged in a heated argument, each wishing to crush the other completely. Tonk was the first to shut up because the Black Pearl was approaching Lucky, and the two ships were about to pass each other.

"Cliff, steer well. When you hear my command, immediately turn around and flee. Our route is still towards the pirate city in the south!" Tonk reminded.

"Just watch my performance, Captain!" Cliff replied in a hoarse voice.

At this time, Lucky was still in a passive position and the Flying Fish maintained a distance of 300 yards, intending to circle around to intercept Lucky from the front.

Tonk was relying on the acceleration of the Wind Goddess to escape and therefore had to abandon the slower Lucky. After the two ships approached, Tonk shouted to One-eyed about this plan, and One-eyed commanded the sailors on board to stop repairing the ship and to wait on the deck for a chance to escape by boarding the Black Pearl.

"Bang!"

A chain hit the mast of Lucky and broke it off, causing Lucky's speed to slow down significantly. As a result, the five Black Toad ships behind took the opportunity to catch up, with a medium-sized ship at the forefront firing its cannons and hitting Lucky repeatedly. The situation was extremely dangerous.

"Everyone carry the wounded, and as long as you can still breathe, you must all board the Black Pearl!" One-eyed shouted wildly.

A sailor who was hit by a cannonball in the waist shook his head and stopped those who wanted to carry him, saying weakly, "I can't make it. Don't take me with you. You guys escape. If you have the chance, please avenge me..."

Other sailors tightly held the man's hand and nodded, "Didn't you hear what Captain Tonk said? We, the Evil Dragon Pirates, will definitely wipe them out! Definitely!"

The man nodded and chose to stay on the ship voluntarily, and the other wounded who felt they couldn't be saved also chose to stay behind voluntarily so as not to become a burden.

Tonk's brain was working at lightning speed, his mouth was a bit dry, and his nerves were stretched tight as if they were about to snap. He still had the Whirlpool Madness Fish Ring as a chip in his hand, but how to use it was also a problem. He had two choices: either take down the nimble Flying Fish or use it to deal with the five ships behind.

The problem was that the ships behind were all traveling at different speeds and were far apart. The whirlpool could only take out one ship at most, but it would alarm the other ships and they would start to guard against the whirlpool's attack.

In the end, he decided to take down the Flying Fish first and then change the direction of the whirlpool to make it a natural barrier to stop the other Black Toad ships. If the enemy's ships approached again, he would create another whirlpool so they could escape.

At this point, two ships had successfully docked, but there were no gangways. Lucky's men could only jump onto the Black Pearl, almost all of them carrying wounded. Several cannonballs flew over, hitting the Black Pearl and causing damage.

The Evil Dragon Pirates' Harrow Brothers and Troubler were also fighting back fiercely. They also attacked the Flying Fish, which caught them off guard. The Flying Fish had been thought that anything beyond 300 yards was a safe distance.

The Black Pearl couldn't stop at all. In just a dozen seconds of passing each other, the personnel transfer was completed. Helmsman Cliff turned the helm with a big hand, causing the ship to turn sharply to the left.

One-eyed and Tonk looked at each other, understanding each other without saying a word. One-eyed turned around and fired his gun, hitting Lucky's gunpowder box and triggering a huge explosion. Lucky was blown in half and the ship was destroyed, sinking into the sea.

Tonk turned around to face the side of the ship, reciting a spell to activate the magical power contained in the ring. He aimed at the sea where the Flying Fish must pass and summoned a school of fish.

At this moment, the greatest crisis finally arrived. Two ships had entered range and began firing fiercely with their spit-toad cannons. Dozens of cannonballs flew over, densely packed. The Black Pearl endured the bombardment, and every hit was like a painful sob.

One-eyed looked at Tonk with anticipation, hoping that the captain could create another miracle. However, when he saw Purgatory approaching, he felt not only nostalgia and hatred but also a sense of fear. He knew very well that once Purgatory was within range, the Black Pearl would be instantly destroyed. The Purgatory was such a terrifying ship.

The Flying Fish had just been thrown off balance by the enemy's counterattack, but the sudden appearance of a whirlpool ahead made them even more desperate. Because of its speed, the Flying Fish plunged into the newly-formed whirlpool and began to spin in the center like a traveler trapped in a swamp, unable to break free.

Ding! You have defeated a medium-sized pirate ship and gained 200 bonus points!

Tonk focused all his attention on controlling the direction of the whirlpool, trying to move it as much as possible toward the Black Toad Pirate fleet. Despite the best efforts of the fish creating the whirlpool, it was still much slower than the speed of the ships.

Several leaders of the Black Toad Pirates saw this scene, their faces turning pale. It was sudden, and the Flying Fish disappeared just like that. The whirlpool seemed to be under control, heading straight toward them.

The whirlpool had reached its most violent stage, covering an area of several square kilometers, enough to engulf the Black Whale.

"Stop pursuing, turn around, and avoid the whirlpool!" Harold urgently ordered.

In fact, the whirlpool could not last long, and its maximum range was only this big. But Harold didn't know this, and he wouldn't let the fleet charge to their deaths. The five ships of the Black Toad Pirates quickly dispersed, avoiding the whirlpool as if dodging debt.

This gave the Black Pearl a chance to escape, and the pirates on board cheered and worked together to turn the bow back south.

Tonk's consciousness suddenly returned, and he could no longer sense the fish swarm. The whirlpool on the sea could only be maintained for a while by inertia.

The Black Toad Pirates fled in all directions, all of them sweating profusely. But after a moment, the whirlpool had subsided. Harold was so angry that he ordered the fleet to pursue again, and the five ships once again aimed at the Black Pearl like five bloodthirsty sharks.

Tonk's goddess statue still had two hours of effect time left, and the situation remained grim. He ordered the crew to throw away tons of medicine on the ship - survival was now the most important thing.

Stephen heard the commotion and stopped writing, quickly stepping out of the room and ordering the sailors to take the wounded to the temporary infirmary. He faced the critically injured patients calmly, like a wise monk who sees through life and death, selecting only those who could be saved.

Other sailors who knew how to dress wounds also began to help out.

Tonk glanced at One-eyed and confessed, "I can summon that vortex one more time, but whether we can escape or not is up to fate."

One-eyed nodded, feeling uneasy. He looked at the gloomy sky and said, "It looks like a storm is coming. We not only have to fight against Black Toad's men but also against the weather!"

The fate of the Evil Dragon Pirates hung in the balance at this crucial moment.

After witnessing the power of the vortex, the Black Toad Pirates were unsure whether Tonk had created it or not. They decided to maintain a safe distance and chased after them side by side. With the Black Whale leading the way, Harold could monitor the movements of the other ships in the fleet.

Black Toad chased for half an hour, but without the Flying Fish, no ship could catch up to the Black Pearl.

Harold was infuriated by the situation and yelled at Tonk, "You're digging your own grave! I've changed my mind." He turned to Cross-Scar and said, "Fire the cannons and blast them to pieces!"

Cross-Scar lazily glanced at the distance between the two ships and said discontentedly, "It's too far away. Even I can't hit them."

Harold's gaze sharpened and he shouted, "Fire with full force! Your air cannon can definitely reach them!"

Cross-Scar narrowed his eyes, and his giant toad face looked sinister. He opened his mouth and sucked in a large amount of rain and air. After closing his mouth, he began to gather his strength, and his body trembled with the force. His fat body even shrank inwards, and there was a popping sound coming from his belly.

"Boom!"

Cross-scar suddenly opened its mouth and shot out an air cannonball, with unstoppable force. Wherever it passed, the waves were plowed into a straight line, emitting a sharp low hum. After shooting out the air cannonball, Cross-scar sat there like a deflated balloon, falling asleep heavily.

On the ship, Tonk heard the sound of the air cannonball breaking through the air and felt uneasy. He shouted, "Everyone, be careful!"

Before he could finish his sentence, the air cannonball had already hit the side of the ship, with a piece of flying wood chip piercing into his abdomen. The Black Pearl tilted to the left, and everyone on board fell down, causing severe damage.

Tonk felt a sharp pain in his stomach and saw that it was already covered in blood. He slid along the deck for a distance, leaving a bloodstain behind.

One-eyed saw what happened and stumbled over to help Tonk up, asking repeatedly, "Are you okay?"

"It fucking hurts!" Tonk frowned and covered his stomach.

The sailors panicked and rushed over, asking him all sorts of questions with great concern.

Tonk grabbed One-eyed's shoulder and stood up, saying urgently, "Don't worry about me, go check on the ship! If something happens to the ship, we're all done."

The sailors of the Black Pearl were in a frenzy, rushing to repair the ship's hull, while the rain intensified and the sea became stormy. The wind direction kept changing, sometimes blowing southeast, sometimes east.

After observing for a while, Tonk found that the Black Whale had not fired that kind of cannon shot again, and he breathed a sigh of relief. One-eyed supported Tonk and took him to the ship's infirmary.

Stephen saw that Tonk was injured and immediately stopped stitching up the wounded man he had been working on, turning to tend to Tonk. He deeply understood whose life was more important. The injured man who had been left aside did not get angry but instead urged the ship's doctor to treat the captain well.

On the stormy sea, with many wounded on the damaged ship, the powerful enemy ship was still chasing them closely.

Tonk felt that today was a disaster. He lay on the bed, his lips turning pale, and his stomach still burning with pain.
