The crew members of the Evil Dragon Pirates walked on the cobblestone road with nine frogs following behind them, even Troubler, who had always been a slave, was brought along.

Surrounded by pointed buildings, people constantly flowed through the street. The pirate city contained various races, and it was common to see dwarves, elves, goblins, and fishmen here. No one would be surprised to see even the strangest of people.

As diverse as the races were the professions, and along the way, Tonk used his Investigation skill many times, targeting swordsmen carrying swords as tall as their bodies, wizards wielding skeletal staffs, muscular fighters, martial artists fighting bare-handed... There was even a wandering bard sitting on the street singing, whose music had various effects.

Pirates were synonymous with evil, cruelty, and debauchery, so it was common to see bounty hunters worth thousands of gold, drunken fools stumbling around, and creepy men with two or three beautiful women in their arms.

The small taverns are full of ambiguous charm emitting female seduction. When passing by, beautiful women would sway their skirts and flash their long, white legs, throwing flirtatious glances. The pirates collectively showed excited eyes to their captain.

Tonk shrugged and said, "Don't look at me, we haven't even had the chance to sell the loot we just stole."

The pirates had disappointed expressions and dampened the mood.

A group of old men on the street sighed with sadness, like a group of bachelors on a tour, making the beautiful women who had just shown their thighs look down on them and snorted disdainfully at their vulgar back views.

Flora saw this and blushed, like a kitten dodging and weaving, afraid of touching anything in the city.

An old man saw Stephen and his eyes lit up. He swayed over and asked in a very effeminate voice, "Little beauty, do you want to make some money? I can introduce you to some clients. If you can take male clients, you can make even more!"

Stephen maintained an icy expression and pulled out a bright small knife from somewhere, holding it against the old man's hand, making his intentions clear.

The old man carefully withdrew his hand and said tearfully, "If you don't want to do it, then don't. Why scare people? So bad!"

The group felt chills running down their spines, and some couldn't help but burst out laughing, which annoyed Stephen greatly. He turned pale with anger and didn't say a word all the way.

The group walked cheerfully and found a hotel called "Fading", where they planned to stay for the night.

The hotel looked old, with cobwebs visible above and the floor creaking beneath their feet. The air was filled with a musty smell, but the scent of alcohol carried a sense of vitality. At the entrance was an old man with a red hat, who looked at Tonk and his group with cloudy eyes before suddenly coughing twice.

Tonk habitually used his Investigation spell.

Name: Red Hat (for pirates, their nickname is their name).
Occupation: Thief (Tier 3).
Physical Attack:
Thievery Skill: (This value affects a thief's agility, speed, and stealth abilities, and is far more important to a thief than a physical attack)
Affiliation: Pirate City
Bounty Amount: 5400 gold coins

Because Tonk upgraded his spell, the results were more comprehensive.

Tonk was wary when he realized the other party was a thief. After a round of negotiations, they agreed on the rent, and Tonk and his group went upstairs to rest.

The pirate city was a mixed bag of people, and they couldn't just switch to another inn just because the boss was a thief. If they were so timid, they would have to sleep on the streets. Besides, they were not easy to mess with.

"One-eyed, have you heard of the nickname Red Hat?" Tonk asked casually.

"I have, he's a retired pirate who was very active twenty years ago, just as vicious as us. His old pirate crew was called the Blood Red Pirates, with five main members: Red Hat, Red Shirt, Red Gloves, Red Pants, and Red Shoes." One-eyed didn't disappoint Tonk, he was like a pirate encyclopedia.

"Oh, so they had a set."

"They were notorious at the time too. After killing someone, they would use the blood to dye a piece of clothing, like Red Hat, he would use the dead person's blood on his hat. That was their signature. Captain, do you want to design a signature for yourself?"

"Not for now." Tonk thought that kind of behavior was pretty twisted. There was a big difference between a murderer and a serial killer, and he was the former.

The pirate's signature, like leaving their name on the wall after killing, was purely a cool act, perhaps with some vanity at play.

After a good night's rest, Tonk woke up, washed up, and instructed the sailors not to wander around and cause trouble. He went out with One-eyed, Cliff, and planned to sell the stolen medicine. Stephen also went out, claiming he was going to buy some books. Flora was too scared to walk around, so she stayed at the inn with the sailors.

Tonk found the most trustworthy exchange through the system. He took the merchant to the warehouse to look at the medicine, made an estimate, and the merchant made a very reasonable offer. One-eyed signaled to Tonk secretly that they could sell, and the transaction went smoothly with no ripples.

Because they lost a lot of medicine, Tonk and his crew only got a little over a thousand gold coins in the end. Over two hundred of them were to be distributed among the sailors. One-eyed kept a little over a hundred for himself, but he said he didn't need that much and suggested that Tonk use the money to replenish the ammunition on the ship.

Tonk knew that One-eyed was only interested in revenge and didn't say anything more. He boldly pocketed the money, only giving One-eyed a dozen or so coins as pocket change.

The gold coins were packed in wooden crates, and Clive took on the role of porter, carrying them lightly in his hands.

The three of them strolled leisurely. Tonk felt much more secure with the gold coins in his possession.

"Come on, I'll treat you guys to some prostitutes later," Tonk said with a cheerful laugh. He never felt embarrassed when talking about such things.

One-eyed shrugged and said he didn't care. Cliff was even more enthusiastic, holding up three fingers to indicate he wanted to have sex with three women tonight.

"You're greedy, if you want three, pay for them yourself," Tonk joked and scolded.

One-eyed pushed Tonk and nodded toward a rooftop.

Following his gesture, Tonk saw a strange bird with burning undead flames in its chest and eye sockets, just like the flames in One-eyed's left eye.

"What is this?" Tonk asked.

"It's a soul-devouring bird. They're the eyes and ears of the pirate city. If anyone causes trouble in their territory, they'll call the city guards," One-eyed explained.

Tonk instinctively wanted to throw something at the soul-devouring bird, but One-eyed stopped him. It was not something to be trifled with.

One-eyed looked at the soul-devouring bird for a few more moments and felt a chill down his spine. The bird seemed to sense his fear and lowered its head, staring at One-eyed's left eye. One-eyed shuddered and urged Tonk to move on.

After this small incident, the three of them quickly resumed their banter and laughter.

However, as they walked down a street, a crisis suddenly arose. One-eyed stopped in his tracks, feeling as if he was being crushed by a mountain. He didn't hesitate to pull out his pistol, ignoring the fact that they were in pirate territory.

Tonk was confused but followed One-eyed's gaze. With just one glance, his expression turned ugly.

It was because the Black Toad Pirate's crew was walking straight toward them!

Although Tonk had never seen Harold in person, he had seen his wanted poster. The face that made people's nightmares was unforgettable.

Harold walked in the middle of the group, sneering, his grotesque and bloated body exuding a strange smell of seawater. Casey, wearing a red and black robe, walked on one side of Harold, while Hawkeye, with two long guns on his back, walked on the other.

The three of them stopped in their tracks.

Tonk and Harold stared at each other, with sparks in their eyes and equally imposing presence. Meanwhile, One-eyed and the traitor Hawkeye were also facing each other, with even more killing intent in their gazes. One-eyed was trying hard to control himself, but even so, his fingers were in a half-clenched state. Eagle-eye appeared much calmer, smiling at One-eyed with a sense of amusement as if watching a joke.

At a distance of only three yards, both sides stood still.

Harold sneered coldly, "Easterner, we finally meet."

"You son of a bitch, Harold," Tonk replied with a black face. The pain in his abdomen was like a fuse, igniting his growing anger. He also hadn't forgotten the deaths of those sailors.

Harold's smile became even more sinister. He spoke deliberately, "You talk a big game, but soon you'll be begging at my feet. When that time comes, I won't show any mercy."

"You old pervert thinks you're tougher than me, huh? Two can play that game. We'll see who has the last laugh!" Tonk said fiercely.

"You're like a rat in front of me, still trying to act tough here. I know what you're thinking, trying to use the secret dock to get away from us. But don't forget, there are four exits from Pirate City. If you run into the Black Whale or Purgatory, that'll be your death!" Harold taunted.

Tonk didn't reply with anything, not revealing his true intentions. If he encountered a ship, no matter how strong it was, he could rely on his ring to wipe it out!

"We'll see," Harold said, squinting at Tonk before walking away.

As they passed each other, it was undoubtedly a test of Tonk's courage, but none of them showed any signs of fear. It was fortunate that they hadn't brought Flora along. If she saw this, she would have been scared to tears.

At the moment they brushed past each other, Hawkeye whispered in One-eyed's ear, "Say hello to Captain Cam for me."

One-eyed shuddered all over, his eyes turning bloodshot with rage.
