Announcement I decided to change the name of the main character slightly. Tonk → Tangke

Although killing was simple, the problem was that, even though this was a pirate city where all the villains gather, it was a place of peace, and no one could pursue personal revenge here. Violators would face severe punishment from the pirate city.

This was somewhat ironic. Pirate City was known as the axis of evil, but it was actually the safest place in the world, even though the most ferocious pirates reside here.

Tangke returned to the Fading Inn and found a few people to hide in the room to discuss how to kill the innkeeper.

"We just need to be discreet about it. Don't let that weirdo see us. We'll just sneak up on the innkeeper in the middle of the night," Cliff made a decapitation gesture, and in the flickering light, his face looked sinister and terrifying.

One-eyed immediately vetoed, "No, we can't do that. We don't need to take that kind of risk for a piece of a map. Red Hat came to retire in Pirate City. If he dies unexpectedly, Pirate City will definitely investigate thoroughly. If we reveal our tracks, we will all be implicated."

Another decapitation gesture.

Flora felt frightened by their conversation and sighed, "I can't help with anything if you're discussing killing people. I'll just go out for a while."

In her impression, ever since she met Tangke, their topics of conversation were either robbery or murder or arming themselves. Of course, occasionally, they would talk about some lewd things.

After Flora left, they continued to discuss the matter heatedly, but they still couldn't come up with a good solution.

One-eyed grew impatient and said to Tangke, "Why not just give up on this? It's just for a piece of a broken treasure map."

Tangke decisively said, "No, I must get this map! If worse comes to worst, we'll just leave here immediately after taking action. Then everything will be fine, right?"

"You're really daring, not being honest in Pirate City," One-eyed said helplessly.

Tangke saw that everyone had no good solution and was so anxious that he was spinning around in place.

"This is actually quite simple."

Everyone turned their gaze to the speaker, and it was Stephen, who had always been calm!

Stephen remained silent, concentrating on the book in his hands with the title "Where I Come From." He closed the book and casually looked at the pirates in the room.

"What do mean?" Tangke asked eagerly.

"It's simple for me, but difficult to explain. Do you want to hear it?" Stephen asked calmly.

"I understand. Just give us the orders on what to do, and I trust you," Tangke nodded.

And so, Stephen took on the responsibility of planning. He ordered the rental of several rooms on the first floor and bought a dozen large pots of boiling water outside. They were brought in when the Red Hat wasn't paying attention, and the lids were tightly sealed.

At noon, the people of the Fading Inn were all eating in the restaurant on the first floor, creating a lively atmosphere downstairs.

Stephen ordered the pots to be opened, letting the steam escape. The hot air flowed into the restaurant through the door crack, but no one noticed it because there were many people inside.

"Can this steam kill people?" Tangke whispered doubtfully.

"Of course, it can't kill ordinary people, but for some people, this steam is deadly because it increases the humidity in the air," Stephen said firmly.

Tangke watched skeptically.

After about five minutes, the steam in the room had dissipated, and suddenly the Red Hat, who was calculating at the bar, began to cough violently. He appeared to have difficulty breathing as if a large stone blocked his chest.

The inn's waiter hurried over to take care of him, giving him water and medicine. But the Red Hat fell to the ground, unable to drink any water, and soon died in a mysterious and inexplicable manner.

The Red Hat died suddenly because of the steam in the room. It was so simple that Tangke and the others couldn't believe their eyes.

[Ding! You have completed the mission 'Assassinate the Innkeeper the Red Hat' and received 2400 reward points!]

The system prompt sounded on cue.

"Success." Stephen took off his monocle and wiped off the dust from it.

Tangke began to reassess the ship's doctor and said, "I didn't expect you to be able to kill."

"Don't forget, I am the ship's doctor on a pirate ship." Stephen gave a neutral smile.

"Killing invisibly, that's a really good method. I can see that among us, you are the most terrifying." Tangke originally meant to praise the ship's doctor.

The others nodded in agreement, and even their gazes toward the doctor were filled with respect.

The assassination was extremely successful. Afterward, no one suspected Tangke, and they all thought that the innkeeper Red Hat had died of natural causes. Soon, the matter was forgotten. As for the cause of the innkeeper's death, he was already old and suffered from asthma. He often coughed incessantly and was sensitive to changes in the air. Even a slight change in air humidity could trigger an asthma attack.

That day, Tangke found Red Gloves and demanded the map piece.

Red Gloves glanced at Tangke and smiled, "You're pretty lucky, kid. You happened to catch Red Hat during an asthma attack, which gave you a cheap opportunity. But I only care about the result. Whether you did it or not doesn't matter. The map is yours." He threw the torn map piece over to Tangke.

Tangke took the map piece, checked its authenticity, put it in his pocket, and waved his hand, saying, "I only want this map piece. I'm too lazy to explain to you. If you want to think that Red Hat died of natural causes, that's fine with me."

Red Gloves looked at Tangke strangely and felt a bit suspicious. Could it really be this kid who did it?

Regardless of what Red Gloves was thinking, Tangke had achieved his goal. Both map pieces were quite large, and he only needed one more to complete the map. This made him feel a little excited. Moreover, the mission was completed smoothly, and he received a lot of reward points. He now had 2700 points in his hand, but he could only use the system when he reached the seaside.

Tangke had plans for the use of these points. He could either choose to save them up for later or use them to upgrade himself. Alternatively, he could choose to recruit some Poison Thorn Sea Branble, which were incredibly powerful.

When they left Pirate City, they would face the danger of being intercepted by the Black Toad, so he had to use these points to deal with the crisis. It was impossible to save the point.

The Fading Inn was quickly taken over by other old pirates. When they were young, they were sea bandits, but now that they were old, they just wanted to live a peaceful life in Pirate City. This city filled with pirates gave them a sense of belonging.

As soon as Tangke returned, he was surrounded by a group of people, as if the sailors were about to have a collective riot.

"What's going on? Is something wrong?" Tangke asked nervously.

A sturdy sailor with a fat body held Tangke's shoulders and said tearfully, "Captain, I just can't take it anymore."

At this moment, a voluptuous woman with long hair and revealing clothes walked past the door. She looked at the group of old men inside and coyly lifted a corner of her skirt.

The sailors acted like they were in heat and kept throwing kisses at the woman without any regard for her feelings.

In the Age of Discovery, there was a serious gap between the rich and poor among pirates. Pirates who returned from the sea empty-handed were very poor, but those who robbed merchant ships were very wealthy. It was easy to make money from these newly-rich pirates. As long as a woman had a little bit of charm, she could get a large number of overnight fees from the pirates.

In fact, pirates were not good at managing their money, and they would not notice if someone stole some money from them while they were asleep.

A few nights of effort could lead to high returns, so women loved pirates.

A group of men looked pitifully at Tangke, like a group of begging stray dogs. Tangke was at a loss, so he waved his hand and said, "I'll take you guys out tonight, and I'll pay."

Tangke's words were like heavenly music, and the pirates cheered.

That night, the Evil Dragon Pirate organized a collective prostitution action. Except for Flora, who did not participate, and Stephen, who said he would remain chaste and not participate, everyone else went off in a hurry.

Flora watched the backs of everyone leaving and scolded them harshly, with Tangke as the primary target. She even drank a lot of alcohol, which was unusual for her.

Tangke once again lamented the convenience brought by the Pirate King system. He used the system to call up a detailed map of Pirate City and found a moderately sized nightclub called the "Black Widow." The name had a hint of spicy ambiguity.

The facade of the "Black Widow" had a European classical style. It was a three-story building with a wooden signboard under the awning. The shop name was engraved in a streamlined font, and the arched door frame was decorated with shells. The windows were open, and the sound of laughter and conversation could be heard from inside. The smell of perfume was in the air.

"Let's go in and have a drink."
