It was a beautiful sunny day but in the deep forest, a Pokemon could be seen sulking. He was standing alone as he constantly punched a tree. He looked really annoyed at something and constantly muttered angrily,
"Chimmmchar….Chimmmmchar"
It was a Chimchar who had it quite rough the past few days. Whenever he tried to eat something a certain Ralts would steal half of his food from him, whenever he would try to close its eyes to take a rest Shinx would start annoying him with small sparks. He also didn't get to eat his favorite dish for a long time as his Trainer started to cook only the dishes that Shinx and Ralts liked.
What was even worst that he didn't get to fight often, whenever the group faced a wild threat Saad would send Shinx and Ralts to handle it, making him miss all the action. At first, it was just a little irritating but as it went on for days, he started to become annoyed and started picking fights with them.
Just a few moments ago, he kicked the food Ralts was eating because he didn't share it with him, making the little Pokemon cry. Saad got upset and reprimanded him. After scolding Chimchar for a while Saad asked to him go and practice alone for today. Chimchar knew that he did wrong but he was just too annoyed by the other two Pokemon.
As he was busy sulking he heard a loud bang towards his north. He quickly turned around and stared at the place the sound came from. It was the direction where Saad was training with Shinx and Ralts. His eyes glittered and he rushed towards that direction fearing that he might miss all of the action again.
His speed was unimaginable as he quickly leaped from trees to trees and in just a few moments reached the place. He saw a huge Pokemon fighting Shinx. It was a large humanoid creature covered in yellow fur with black stripes. It had red eyes, a black spot on its forehead, and a pair of antennae with bulbous tips. A pattern on his back resembled an electric outlet. The fur on its cheeks and shoulders were spiky and ruffled. It had two black tails with red rounded ends, resembling open electrical wires.
Right now he was overwhelming Shinx as he hurdled a huge of lightning towards Shinx. Shinx was unable to dodge in time as was hit, which made he shout in pain. Chimchar looked at the Shinx and smiled excitedly at the huge Electivire. He jumped from the tree and rushed straight towards him while making excited cries.
Saad who was busy commanding Shinx while holding the injured Ralts in his arms stared at Chimchar who was running swiftly towards Electivire and shouted,
"Chimchar! Stop! You need to let Shinx fight it. It is his battle. You just need to defend him"
Chimchar was even more annoyed hearing Saad and just ignored his command as he sent a huge barrage of fire bolts towards the Electivire.
The huge yellow monster just smiled mockingly at Chimchar and easily dodged the attack. Chimchar who was confident that the attack will hit was shocked. He quickly composed himself and started to attack Electivire with Fury Swipes. Electivire easily dodged the barrage of scratch attacks and sent a huge fist covered in electricity towards the small monkey.
Chimchar who was attacking Electivire mindlessly got hit by the attack and the raw power behind that punch sent him flying. His body flew a few feet back and hit on the trunk of a tree. He shouted in pain as sparks started to scorch his skin. After making him suffer for a while the electric sparks disappeared leaving him laying down there shouting in pain.
Saad was startled when Chimchar disobeyed him but what made him angry was how his partner brainlessly attacked his opponent. It was like he was just a brute without any sense. He totally forgot everything that he learned during his training. And without a doubt that carelessness made him suffer as he was swept away by a powerful punch from a casually standing Electivire.
Saad stared at the injured Chimchar worryingly and turned to look at the huge Electrivire who was slowly advancing towards Chimchar. Saad quickly turned around and shouted towards Shinx who was now standing on his feet.
"Shinx! Do whatever you can to stop the Electivire from reaching Chimchar."
Shinx who has now standing straightly nodded as his body started to lit up with electricity. He let out a roar and rushed towards Electrivire.
Electrivire who was slowly strolling towards the injured Chimchar suddenly jolted after hearing a loud roar. He paused his steps as he slowly turned around just to see a glowing Shinx hit him hard. He didn't get to react completely as he hurdled away a few feet.
It was unbelievable to imagine that such a body could hold that much power. Electivire stared angrily at the small Pokemon and slowly tried to stand up but suddenly he was hit by a bolt of lightning that although didn't do much damage made him momentarily froze. Saad noticed this and quickly shouted,
"Shinx! It is your chance. Quickly use tackle followed by Thunder Fang."
Shinx was quick to act as he rushed towards the paralyzed Pokemon and slammed his body against his with full force. The attack pushed Electrivire a few feet away as he shouted in anger. Shinx didn't stop there and hurried forward with his fangs glowing with yellow electricity.
But as he was about to bite the paralyzed Pokemon, he shuddered as he saw red glowing eyes staring mockingly at him. He tried to stop his attack and retreat but unfortunately could not make it in time as he was swept away by a huge glowing punch that hit him hard on his body.
The tremendous power behind the punch sent Shinx flying. His body hurled away for a few feet and hit the trees that were surrounding the area.
Saad nearly got a heart attack when he saw Shinx get hit that hard. He quickly shouted,
"Shinx! Are you alright? ".
Shinx who was rolling around crying in pain got to his senses after hearing Saad's voice filled with concern. He tried to open his eyes with difficulty as he looked towards his Trainer and started to make efforts of standing up. After failing to do it for many times, he, at last, managed to stand of his feet again. He nodded towards Saad and said,
"Shi….nx"
Saad heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Shinx standing up and asked,
"Shinx! Can you still fight?"
Shinx nodded and turned his face towards the Electrivire who looked like he was enjoying thrashing them around.
Saad also stared at the huge Pokemon as he thought,
"Damn he is strong. We cannot defeat him like this. I need to make my Pokemon fight him together."
As he was busy planning his next move, Saad saw a small orange flash at the corner of his eyes, as the fiery Chimchar rushed at the Electivire again. Saad got angry at the impulsive Pokemon and shouted,
"Damn it! Chimchar! Stop"
Chimchar ignores his voice and charger angrily at the Electivire. He began to attack blindly as he sent bolts of fire at the wild Pokemon followed by a barrage of Fury Swipes. But even with that huge body, Electivire managed to dodge most of his attack.
Electivire stared mockingly at Chimchar and hurled a huge bolt of thunder towards him. The attack hit the little monkey and made him shout in pain.
Chimchar who was hit by the powerful attack fell on his knees and began to grimace in pain. After shouting in pain for a while he slowly began to gather his senses as he looked up just to see a huge Pokemon staring at him as he readied a punch swirling right at his face.
Chimchar closed his eyes without any intention of dodging it because he knew that he didn't have enough time. But the pain didn't come and he opened his eyes just to see a small body shielding him from the punch. His eyes turned misty as he started at his injured partner who was trying his best to stop the punch that was directed at him.
Shinx who was trying his best to protect his friend slowly began to get pushed back. He tried his best to stop Electivire but he slowly began to feel overwhelmed. He began to worry as he turned to look at Chimchar with the corner of his eyes. He stared at his friend for a while and his face turned more and more resolute. He knew that if he could not stop the attack his friend will get hurt heavily. He turned his face around and gave a loud roar as something unprecedented happened.
His body began to glow up blinding Chimchar and Electivire who were staring astonishingly at him. His body began to transform as he got bigger and bigger. His tail started to grow longer and fur on his body got thicker. After a few moments, the blinding flash of light disappeared and what stood in place of injured Shinx was a much stronger and much powerful Luxio.
Luxio looked up and gave a huge roar as if announcing to the world that he is here.
